The following word is for those who need an answer to prayer, who need help in a time of trouble, and who are ready and willing to move God’s heart according to his Word. Lay hold of the covenant promise in Psalm 46:1, “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” The phrase “very present” means always available, immediately accessible. Faith must rest in the assurance that God’s Spirit abides in you all hours of the day and night. Because he inhabited you, he listens to your every prayerful thought and cry. We know that if...

WASHINGTON, D.C—The White House grounds have entered a lockdown following the sighting of a senile old man wandering around waving a gun and making outlandish demands. Witnesses claim that while the man appeared to be well-dressed, he had no clue who or where he was. "He kept asking 'where's First Lady Kamala' and asking why's nobody...

For more than three hours after the attack, we got urgent alerts: Suspect at large! Police request public's help! Be on the alert for a male, about 5'8", 160 lbs." WASHINGTON (AP) — There’s no such thing as a purely personal opinion from the Oval Office on policies that matter. Armchair quarterbacking when you’re the president is fraught when you’re the one with the ball. Armies can move on your words; markets can convulse; diplomacy can unravel. That has not stopped President Joe Biden from viscerally weighing in on the Ukraine war. It was Donald Trump who jettisoned the idea of a scripted presidency every way he could, with his multitude of tweets leading the way. Some reflected policy. Some just mirrored what was in his head at the moment....

Russia's smooth victory over Ukraine is not happening, and President Vladimir Putin continues to purge his own ranks. FSB Secret Service General Sergei Beseda ended up behind bars for stealing money that was supposed to ensure the Kremlin's easy victory in Ukraine. However, Putin also owes the failures at the front to other corrupt commanders. In reports to Putin, the general assured that in every major city in Ukraine he had mobilized and paid "up to two thousand athletic men" ready to actively oppose Ukrainian institutions. These strike forces were to be followed in each city by thousands of pro-Russian...

From New King James Matthew 18:15-17 15 "Moreover if your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he hears you, you have gained your brother. 16 But if he will not hear, take with you one or two more, that 'by the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.' 17 And if he refuses to hear them, tell it to the church. But if he refuses even to hear the church, let him be to you like a heathen and a tax collector. People who promote killing...

Explanation: What created Devils Tower? The origin of this extraordinary rock monolith in Wyoming, USA is still debated, with a leading hypothesis holding that it is a hardened lava plume that never reached the surface to become a volcano. In this theory, the lighter rock that once surrounded the dense volcanic neck has now eroded away, leaving the dramatic tower. Known by Native Americans by names including Bear's Lodge and Great Gray Horn, the dense rock includes the longest hexagonal columns known, some over 180-meters tall. High above, the central band of the Milky Way galaxy arches across the sky....

The first original song that George Thorogood ever wrote was "Bad to the Bone." Celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, the track is still omnipresent on classic rock radio and has been used in countless movies and television shows. Thorogood and his band have put their spin on plenty of blues staples over the years, notably making radio classics out of John Lee Hooker's "One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer," "Move It On Over" by Hank Williams and Bo Diddley's "Who Do You Love." But Thorogood felt pigeonholed as...
