As the courageous people of Ukraine battle for their freedom against invading Russian forces—some defending their homeland with shoulder-launched FIM-92 Stinger surface to air missiles…others with homemade Molotov cocktails…still others with rocks, bottles and anything else they can get their hands on—they provide America with examples of how dearly some people around the globe value their freedom. Sadly, the same cannot be said for our spineless White House “press corps,” which continues to operate as a mangy assembly of cowering lapdogs. The people we should be able to rely on to provide United States citizens with accurate, truthful information we...

A liberal is someone too broad-minded to take his own side in a quarrel. That old joke rushed to mind as I read the results this week of a Quinnipiac University survey indicating that, well, it isn’t really a joke. There are more sunshine patriots in our midst than anyone realized. The pollster asked: What would you do if you were in the same position as Ukrainians are now, stay and fight or leave the country? Shockingly, more than half of Democrats (52%) said they would cut and run if the U.S. homeland were invaded. We aren’t talking about women...

Both sides are bringing on foreign volunteers and mercenaries. Many of the participants lining up make very strange bedfellows indeed, and some of the groups involved are straight out of bad fiction. But, as we should know, fact is much stranger than fiction. Anyway, from the Podcast of the Lotus Eaters, Callum and Carl roundup of the foreign groups now showing up in Ukraine.

The Biden administration’s objections to the transfer of MiG-29s from Poland to Ukraine have been perplexing to many commentators and analysts, as have their purported explanations. The latest of which, supposedly from the DoD, was that the transfer of the aircraft would have little effect and be too provocative. MiG-29s wouldn’t be helpful? Really? And yet, these arguments have been rejected by many generals and experts who believe these MiG-29 aircraft could make a difference in the ability of Ukraine to defend itself, and see little escalatory difference from the weapons we are currently providing. In fact, Ukraine, with its...

Just in case the coming global famine, which One River CIO Eric Peters likened to the original Holodomor (which incidentally took place in Ukraine under Stalin and killed 3-5 million), isn’t bad enough, moments ago Russia warned that it could be even worse. According to Interfax, Russia’s Agriculture Ministry said that the country could ban wheat, rye, barley and corn exports from March 15 to June 30. “The Agriculture Ministry, together with the Industry and Trade Ministry, has drafted a government resolution that provides for a temporary ban on the export of basic grain crops from Russia from March 15...

A 30-year-old man was arrested after trying to cross the US border with clothes stuffed to the brim with snakes and horned lizards, say US Customs and Border Protection. The man was traveling through the San Ysidro crossing from Mexico when officers asked for a personal and vehicle search. Hidden beneath his jacket, in his pants pockets, and around his groin were 43 horned lizards and 9 snakes, carefully bagged to be smuggled into the country. “Smugglers will try every possible way to try and get their product, or in this case live reptiles, across the border,” said Sidney Aki,...

An undercover Project Veritas video captured the New York Times' Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Matthew Rosenberg admitting that "coverage of the event was overblown. The so-called insurrectionists were not as scary as the dweebs in the Capitol allege. The only people with firearms that day were the Capitol Police. The only person killed was an unarmed woman who was shot by one of the Capitol Police. FBI informants embedded in the crowd encouraged people to enter the Capitol building. It was a disorderly melee. It was not an attempt to seize power or overthrow the government." Rosenburg said "the insignificance of...

“Threaten our homeland, our way of life, and most importantly our leader, and yes, we will nuke the sh-t of out you. I guarantee it.” That’s what a senior retired Russian diplomat told me on the sidelines of a Track 2.0 dialogue in 2012 when I asked him what would happen during a NATO-Russian war or a threat to the Russian government itself. He was pretty clear: Threats Russia’s sovereignty, ability to control its territory, run its economy—and most of all, ensure leadership survival—were all things it might go to nuclear war over. Isn’t that what we are doing today...

The Trump administration issued the designation in 2019 A top Iranian resistance group is warning that any move to take the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps off the U.S. Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO) list will "heighten terrorism and mayhem" in the region, amid fears the Biden administration will make such a move as part of negotiations to bring Iran back into the 2015 nuclear deal. "A potential IRGC exclusion from the FTO list and taking these individuals off the terror blacklist, as requested by Iran’s ruling theocracy, will no doubt heighten terrorism and mayhem in the region," the report by the...

A former Michigan county township clerk has been charged with ballot tampering and official misconduct in connection with an expected recount in her own August 2020 primary election. Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel announced the charges on Friday against ex-Flint Township Clerk Kathy Funk, a Democrat who will face trial in Genesee County District court. Funk is accused of intentionally breaking a seal on a ballot container so the votes could not be counted in an anticipated recount. Funk was running for reelection, and narrowly prevailed in the unofficial count, Nessel said. Funk also was serving at the time as...

Speaker Nancy Pelosi will not hand over video coverage and emails from Jan 6 per a FOIA request. Pelosi based her decision on “sovereign immunity.” Pelosi and Democrats know if they release the 14,000 hours of footage from security cameras on January 6 it will blow apart their narrative. So she is hiding it. Meanwhile, dozens of Trump supporters are rotting in a jail one mile from the US Capitol waiting for a fair trial which they won’t get because their evidence will be hidden from the American public. We are dealing with evil here. Michael LaChance writing at American...

But Rubio did not ask those questions. Instead, he changed the subject and told us once again that Vladimir Putin is bad. Watch. (BEGIN VIDEO CLIP) RUBIO: If there's a biological or chemical weapon incident or attack inside of Ukraine, is there any doubt in your mind that 100 percent it would be the Russians that would be behind it? NULAND: There is no doubt in my mind, Senator, and it is classic Russian technique to blame on the other guy, what they're planning to do themselves. (END VIDEO CLIP) CARLSON: Okay, get a pen. It's a classic Russian technique...

Russia is continuing to suffer high-profile military losses, with a GRU military intelligence spy the latest killed in Putin's stalling invasion of Ukraine. The Kremlin has so far seen the loss of 12 commanders including three key generals, and military experts have slammed their bizarre tactics. Captain Alexey Glushchak, 31, from Tyumen in Siberia, is the latest major casualty after he was killed in the carnage in Mariupol, but the Russians have given no details of how he was killed. Russia said in a statement following Glushchak's death: 'Due to the strict secrecy of the military operation, the circumstances of...

Pi Day is celebrated on March 14th (3/14) around the world. Pi (Greek letter “π”) is the symbol used in mathematics to represent a constant — the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter — which is approximately 3.14159. Pi Day is an annual opportunity for math enthusiasts to recite the infinite digits of Pi, talk to their friends about math, and eat pie. Pi has been calculated to over 50 trillion digits beyond its decimal point. As an irrational and transcendental number, it will continue infinitely without repetition or pattern. While only a handful of digits...

EAGLE PASS, Texas — The State acquired a large quantity of 30-foot wall panels from the Biden Administration to utilize in the construction of a border wall. The materials came from federal contracts cancelled in January 2021. “Texas is the first state ever to build a border wall,” Governor Abbott began in an exclusive interview. “A lot of the border wall is being built by border wall material that there was a contract for, Texas bought it from contractors who built the wall for President Trump. We’re building the exact same wall.” “In addition, a lot of people saw on...
