A south Florida teacher was taken to the hospital last week after she was attacked by a 5-year-old student, leaving her "dazed" and "unresponsive," officials said Monday. The unidentified instructor was found by first responders “sitting on the ground against the wall" and "appearing to be in a faint state" at Pines Lakes Elementary School, about 15 miles southwest of downtown Fort Lauderdale, according to a heavily redacted Pembroke Pines Police Department incident report. The victim was "clearly weak and dazed," able to "blink and breathe regularly but at no point was able to vocally respond or show signs of...

Who first decided to milk a cow? Was it a desire to obtain calcium or was it an act of perversion? We may never know. But from cow's milk came a proliferation of dairy products such as yogurt, butter, ice cream, and cheese. I do not like cottage cheese or sour cream but they derive from cow milk as well. Why are eggs found in the dairy department of supermarkets? Eggs have nothing to do with cow milk. They belong in the meat section. Things are loosening up in NYC with regard to the big COVID scare. Restaurants began taking...

BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) — In the closing months of the Trump administration, energy companies stockpiled enough drilling permits for western public lands to keep pumping oil for years and undercut President-elect Joe Biden's plans to curb new drilling because of climate change, according to public records and industry analysts. An Associated Press analysis of government data shows the permit stockpiling has centered on oil-rich federal lands in New Mexico and Wyoming. It accelerated during the fall as Biden was cementing his lead over President Donald Trump and peaked in December, aided by speedier permitting approvals since Trump took office. The...

Only recently has it been revealed that one of the "vaccines" for COVID-19, pushed by the federal government and pharmaceutical industry on Americans, many unwillingly, over the past two years can cause acute kidney injury, acute flaccid myelitis, anti-sperm antibody positive, brain stem embolism, brain stem thrombosis, cardiac arrest, cardiac failure and cardiogenic shock. And among the 1,291 adverse side effects listed in an appendix of one federal report also are central nervous system vasculitis, deep vein thrombosis, encephalitis brain stem, encephalitis hemorrhagic, frontal lobe epilepsy, foaming at mouth, epileptic psychosis, facial paralysis, fetal distress syndrome, gastrointestinal amyloidosis and generalized...

I had an interesting experience at the car repair shop this weekend. Nothing big; it was just due for an oil change... but I was able to include one of the services I can't usually use: the free tire rotation. (I usually buy tires one at a time, thanks to potholes and nails, but for once, I actually replaced them as a set, so they could be rotated). No such luck. I couldn't get the rotation this time, because we appear to have lost the wheel lock key. That's not such a big deal in itself; I can do without...

As we’ve talked about before, during Donald Trump’s presidency, panic began to set in among Democrats who understood that without a virtual lock on the “minority” vote, their chances of winning elections would become increasingly difficult to near-impossible in some cases, especially in battleground parts of the country. Their concern was in response to Trump making significant inroads with Hispanic voters during the course of his time in office, which was reflected in the 2020 election results. In them, we saw a noticeable shift in the Hispanic vote in places where they normally voted Democrat. There was evidence of this...

During his iconic opening monologue as host of the 2020 Golden Globe Awards, British actor-comedian Ricky Gervais hilariously admonished the assembled Hollywood royalty: "If you do win an award tonight, don’t use it as a platform to make a political speech. You’re in no position to lecture the public about anything. You know nothing about the real world. Most of you spent less time in school than Greta Thunberg. So if you win, come up, accept your little award, thank your agent, and your God and f**k off, OK?" Welp, we had a perfect case in point with a simple...

U.S. officials have begun gathering information to help determine whether Russia has committed war crimes during its invasion of Ukraine, a spokesperson for the White House National Security Council said on Monday. "We are collecting evidence of possible war crimes, human rights abuses, and violations of international humanitarian law. We support accountability using every tool available, including criminal prosecutions where appropriate," the official said. Russian military forces have been attacking civilian targets in Ukraine and Ukraine's nuclear power plant facilities since embarking on a war two weeks ago.

Left-wing ideologue David Brock has launched a “dark money” effort to disbar, publicly shame, and impoverish more than 100 lawyers who participated in filing post-election legal challenges to the 2020 presidential election results. Axios reported the effort, named the “65 Project” because of the number of post-election lawsuits, is funded by anonymous donors and aimschallenges. Axios noted: A dark money group with ties to Democratic Party heavyweights will spend millions this year to expose and try to disbar more than 100 lawyers who worked on Donald Trump’s post-election lawsuits, people involved with the effort tell Axios. Why it matters: The...

Soft Red Winter (SRW) futures hit an all-time high Friday before retreating back, as consecutive limit up trading days meant wheat prices topped a previous high set in 2008. Earlier this week, prices had shot to a 14-year high. "On the continuous futures, the Chicago March winter wheat futures contract set a then all-time high of $13.34 1/2 cents on Feb 27, 2008. Today, the March 2022 has traded to $13.40. So on some continuous charts, a new record today," says Bill Nelson of ProFarmer. "The wonky part of this is that today's record is for wheat futures in delivery....

ON THE RUSSIA-UKRAINE CRISIS: A Message from Abp. Viganò, Former Apostolic Nuncio to the U.S. Editor’s Note: This morning I received an urgent email from his Excellency Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò, asking us to give top priority to his message on the crisis in Ukraine.“In the Russian-Ukrainian crisis,” the Archbishop writes, “we must clearly recognize and denounce the coup d’état of the deep state worldwide, which has worked to install the New World Order, involving the WEF, NATO, UN, the European Union, the IMF…”I could not agree more with his Excellency, that this is indeed a geo-critical moment and...

I taught English Literature and Composition at Catholic schools from 1975 until I retired in 2017, including Honors and Advanced Placement. Since that time my hours were filled as a substitute teacher in Northwest Indiana, and I now work as a Jobs Coach for Special Education students in a large public high school. I take troops of students to workplace locations (Al’s Grocery, WINN Machines, LaPorte County Animal Shelter and show young men and women how to wash dishes for an elementary school) and teach them how to comport themselves in a workplace. My charges are mostly Autistic and Downs...

Republicans in the Arizona Legislature are now fighting to repeal an “emergency bill” that radically alters how the precinct committeemen will be selected in the state. The legislature voted in favor of RINO Arizona House Speaker Rusty Bowers’ HB2839 after President Trump released a statement supporting the “Precinct Strategy” organization enlisting America First Patriots to their local County Republican Party committees, positions which are too often left vacant. The new change will allow county supervisors in Arizona to appoint the political party precinct committee members instead of elections.

The leader of the Russian Orthodox Church said his country’s invasion of Ukraine was a divine mission in opposition to gay rights. According to a Monday report in the Moscow Times, Patriarch Kirill backed Russia’s “military operation” in Ukraine and called it a conflict over “which side of God humanity will be on.” He drew attention to Ukraine‘s gay-pride parades and pro-LGBT laws, and called them a “loyalty test” and an example of Ukraine’s attempting to refashion itself in the cultural image of NATO nations. “Pride parades are designed to demonstrate that sin is one variation of human behavior. That’s...

The Russian tanks and missiles besieging Ukraine also are threatening the food supply and livelihoods of people in Europe, Africa and Asia who rely on the vast, fertile farmlands of the Black Sea region — known as the “breadbasket of the world.” Ukrainian farmers have been forced to neglect their fields as millions flee, fight or try to stay alive. Ports are shut down that send wheat and other food staples worldwide to be made into bread, noodles and animal feed. And there are worries Russia, another agricultural powerhouse, could have its grain exports upended by Western sanctions. While there...
