A south Florida teacher was taken to the hospital last week after she was attacked by a 5-year-old student, leaving her "dazed" and "unresponsive," officials said Monday.
The unidentified instructor was found by first responders “sitting on the ground against the wall" and "appearing to be in a faint state" at Pines Lakes Elementary School, about 15 miles southwest of downtown Fort Lauderdale, according to a heavily redacted Pembroke Pines Police Department incident report.
The victim was "clearly weak and dazed," able to "blink and breathe regularly but at no point was able to vocally respond or show signs of a response," the report said.
The troubling incident started when a 5-year-old boy had to be removed from class for “throwing things around” and “flipping the chairs,” police said.
The youngster was taken to an empty “cool down” room, where the attack on the teacher allegedly took place, police said.
The teacher was taken to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood and has since been released, officials said.

Gotta hear both sides.😎
Need we ask?
We’re certainly not getting the whole story here.

Starting to mutate sooner than expected? He needs another jab to complete the transformation. Too bad the pandemic is on the way down.

Good luck with an adult attacker lady.
The teacher, almost certainly a democrat, just got a lesson in critical race theory
Good. Spanking for unruly children needs to make a BIG comeback.
I just turned 57 and am not as fit and strong as I used to be but am pretty sure I could handle a 5 year old.... a 6 year might be a challenge though...what the hell?????
Likely a crack baby.
180 pound unattended 5 year old border crosser?
For those of you saying the lady should have beat the kid or somehow tried to physically restrain him: Do you know what kind of trouble she would have gotten into if, in defending herself, she had so much as bruised the kid?
One of my insane neighbors incited his developmentally disabled child (that means “retarded” by the way) to attack me with a knife. The kid was about 9yo when this happened. (Haha, he’s about 20 now if he’s still alive, which I doubt!) I had actually emailed the local cops that day about the “dad” and his friend egging the kid on to attack me. (When this actually occurred, the dad and his homo friend were nowhere around.)
Luckily when I confronted the kid he panicked and threw the knife away. (I felt very sorry for him; he was about the level of a 5yo himself even though he was almost 10. He used to have these crying/shrieking fits.)
But (I always ask myself) what would have happened if he had rushed me? Even if a kid is attacking with a weapon, if you hurt him the cops will try to blame it all on you. I had my pepper spray in my hand at the time; I guess I would have used it if he had swung the knife at me. Not sure!
Teachers especially have to be extremely careful in disciplining kids these days. (I remember getting spanked on the behind by many a teacher - one of the nuns had what she called a “board of education.” It had holes cut in it so there would be no air cushion between it and your behind when she hit you with it.)
Yeah, something isn’t adding up here.
A feral, low iq, agitated being - I think the script is Lithium.
My 8th grade classroom was next to a special needs classroom that had students of varying ages. The teachers were only allowed to touch them in certain ways. I will never forget one day when one of the boys went “berserk” and actually picked the teacher up and threw her against the wall. From the description of this teacher, she was rather slight. A healthy out of control five year old could have overpowered her, especially if she banged her head first and then he started biting her. I hate hearing some of you immediately assume the worst of the teacher.
Teacher was most likely in shock that anyone would question her authority…teacher thought the DOJ and Garland had already jailed all the domestic terrorists…
My guess is the teacher kept her mouth shut until she could leave school grounds and talk to an attorney!
