The Price of a Permanent EmergencyGovernments across the globe have taken extreme measures over the past two years to combat COVID-19. The rationale is always the same: This is an emergency. But do governments understand the implications of this claim? A perpetual state of crisis cannot be a stable basis for civil government. Politicians who continually appeal to this justification may soon find they have unleashed forces beyond their control. It is hard to live in a state of emergency for two years or more, especially when it affects everything from the air in front of your face to your...

resident Joe Biden has repeatedly claimed the U.S. economy is in good shape, even arguing that it is “stronger than before the pandemic.” However, Americans are not experiencing the "strong" economy Biden describes. Instead, inflation is running rampant and increasing prices for American families and small businesses across the country. In January, the consumer price index increased by 7.5 percent on an annualized basis, a 40-year high. This marks a sharp increase from January 2021, before Joe Biden took over the presidency, when annual inflation was at a stable 1.4 percent. In 2021, the average U.S. household spent $3,500 more...

New York women are feeling “unsafe” in the wake of Christina Yuna Lee’s brutal stabbing death Sunday — prompting a rush to buy pepper spray across the Big Apple, business owners said. “Manhattan used to be an oasis, now I’m looking over my shoulder to make sure I’m not being followed,” Elise Hsu, a 34-year-old real estate agent who lives in Chinatown, told The Post Tuesday. “This is every woman’s nightmare. I spend my time thinking will I be harassed? Raped? Murdered in my own home?” she continued. *** The Post spoke with nearly a dozen women Tuesday who said...

Despite plummeting approval ratings, the Biden administration is continuing its war against America’s borders and sovereignty. That war reached a fever pitch recently as videos surfaced across the internet of illegal aliens being released by government authorities into the U.S. Video broadcast by Fox News late last month showed large numbers of illegal aliens being released into the U.S. Most of those released in the video were single, adult males who told the reporter that they were headed to various destinations across the U.S., including Miami, Houston, and Atlanta. “Fox witnessed men go into a small, unmarked office, then re-emerge...

Three members of San Francisco’s school board were ousted Tuesday in the wake of widespread backlash over the slow reopening of schools shut down by COVID-19 and a controversial plan to rename dozens of school sites. School board president Gabriela López, vice president Faauuga Moliga and commissioner Alison Collins were all stripped of their positions during a special election, according to tallies by the San Francisco Department of Elections. Furious parents launched the recall effort in January 2021 after arguing the school board was pushing progressive politics instead of acting in the best interests of children amid the pandemic.

Donald Trump warned Americans about the Deep State. Instead of listening, Democrats (the Party of yore that actually cared about abusive government power) and their cronies in the Mainstream Media mocked him for peddling an “Alt-Right conspiracy.” Not only do we now have more than sufficient proof that the Deep State exists, but clear evidence it has grown stronger, bolder, and more dangerous. In just the past week, two shocking reports have come to light that detail the extent to which the Deep State has flourished in the shadows. The first comes from Senators Ron Wyden and Martin Heinrich, who,...

I have the honor of serving as the Speaker of the Florida House of Representatives, and I’ve had a successful and fulfilling career as a gang and homicide prosecutor, but the most important title I will ever hold is being called “dad” by my two sons. It is the privilege of my life to be able to raise them to be kind, courageous and most importantly, to know that I will always love, support and protect them. When I took the helm of the Florida House back in 2020, the cyclical issues affecting our families and society became increasingly apparent...

On the heels of a federal indictment alleging that Hillary Clinton’s campaign spied on Donald Trump, even while he was president, former Hawaii Rep. Tulsi Gabbard is not only shocked, she is one of the few Democrats to speak out about what must happen next. Last week, special counsel John Durham unveiled an indictment alleging that Hillary Clinton’s campaign hired a tech company to “infiltrate” Donald Trump’s computer servers and to spy on Trump not only while he was a candidate, but even after he won the White House — all in an effort to push the false claim that...

The truckers' convoy protesting COVID mandates across Canada has proven to be at least partly successful, as provinces are starting to relinquish their mandatory mask and vaccine demands, even as the action has enraged politicians and triggered a national emergency declaration. Now the same movement is coming to the United States. It was feared by Joe Biden's Department of Homeland Security to already be a threat, because the federal agency warned of the possibility of the disruption of traffic at last weekend's professional football championship in California. But now a report in Newsweek has cited a email from organizers in...

Potiphar, an Egyptian who was one of Pharaoh’s officials, the captain of the guard, bought him from the Ishmaelites who had taken him there. The LORD was with Joseph and he prospered, and he lived in the house of his Egyptian master. When his master saw that the LORD was with him and that the LORD gave him success in everything he did, Joseph found favor in his eyes and became his attendant. Potiphar put him in charge...

Will there be righteous and necessary recriminations for the Democrats’ COVID policy disasters? Republicans, don’t screw this up again. In the early 1990s, the Left did something truly despicable . . . and got away with it. Now they are prepared to do something even worse. Will they get away with it again? Let me explain. When the Soviet empire dissolved in 1990-1991, Americans breathed a sigh of astonished relief, celebrated, and—eager to put the economic and psychic costs behind them—promptly forgot everything they should have learned. Above all, Americans (and Republicans and conservatives in particular) failed to impose an...

Project Veritas has done it again, and arguably better than they’ve done it before. They initiated a blockbuster investigation in which they captured FDA Executive Officer Christopher Cole spilling the beans on the Covid vaccines, plans for the future, and a corruption in the FDA that many have speculated about but few have fully uncovered. Here’s the video: VIDEO AT LINK.......... Keep in mind, that’s just part one. According to Project Veritas: FDA Executive Officer, Christopher Cole: “You’ll have to get an annual shot [COVID vaccine]. I mean, it hasn’t been formally announced yet ‘cause they don’t want to, like,...
