In the intensifying great power contest between the United States and genocidal Communist China, it is imperative to devise a strategy for victory, not one for subservience and appeasement. As Ronald Reagan proclaimed as he ended the myth of détente and commenced the drive for an irenic victory over the USSR’s evil empire: “We win, they lose.” Ultimately, through our nation and our allies’ perspicacious strategic and morally courageous policies, we won and the Soviets lost. (And all of this without so much as a “snowflake” of the “nuclear winter” the accommodating, appeasing domestic Left had virtually guaranteed would occur...

Former President Trump's criticism of efforts to change an arcane election law are adding new urgency — and uncertainty — into bipartisan negotiations in the Senate. Trump isn’t the only potential hurdle looming on the horizon for hopes of a deal on changing the Electoral Count Act, a 135-year-old law that lays out how the Electoral College results are counted. In addition to the bipartisan talks, a group of Democrats unveiled a “discussion draft” of their own proposal and senators are already mulling potential things they would want to add into any deal. But Trump’s decision to revive his criticism...

Political prisoner Jake Lang is serving time in Washington DC for his actions on Jan. 6. He has been imprisoned with no rights for over a year now. Islamic terrorists who murdered Americans have more rights than Jake Lang. The DC elites and corrupt fake news media agree with this. Jake Lang was trampled when Capitol Police pushed Trump supporters down the stairs outside the US Capitol on January 6, 2021. Jake was buried under several people when the Capitol police started pushing protesters down the stairs. He was next to Rosanne Boyland who was killed by police when they...

Fifth Sunday in Ordinary Time Luke 5:1-11 Friends, today’s Gospel gives us the story of the miraculous draught of fishes. In many ways, the whole of the spiritual life can be read off of this piece. Without being invited, Jesus simply gets into the fisherman’s boat. This is to insinuate himself in the most direct way into Simon’s life. And without further ado, he begins to give orders, first asking Simon to put out from the shore and then to go out into the deep. This represents the invasion of grace. The single most important decision that you will ever...

Former President Donald Trump’s said that if he wins the presidency again, his first executive action would be to restart construction of the wall on the southern U.S. border. The president told Epoch TV’s “Kash’s Corner” on Jan. 31 that completing the wall has a significance that extends beyond domestic policy because it would project an image of strength to China’s Xi Jinping and other world leaders.“First of all, the wall, even for him,” Trump said referring to Xi. “You know why? Because when he sees millions of people pouring into our country, he loses respect for our country.” The...

VIDEOThe Ottawa Police Services Board got together via Zoom call on February 5, 2022 and they concluded that they were totally helpless. The Ottawa police chief spent most of his time professing his utter helplessness while getting himself into a load of trouble by confessing that he along with other officials stopped the GoFundMe for the Freedom Convoy. Way to go chief in angering the truckers and ensuring they will continue in their effort to stop the mandates. Don't get me wrong. I love the Super Bowl. I don't love the politics of the "social justice" kneelers who play the game. But I've loved NFL football for 50 years now, since I was a little boy and my hero Roger Staubach was winning Super Bowls. I can't wait to bet on the big game; that's the real reason most of us love the NFL. We love betting on the games. But I can wait a week longer, or two, or three. We can play the Super Bowl in March. Because there's something much more important at stake here......

“The news about Him spread throughout all Syria; and they brought to Him all who were ill, those suffering with various diseases and pains, demoniacs, epileptics, paralytics; and He healed them” (Matthew 4:24). Jesus’ miraculous healing ministry powerfully augmented the divine veracity of His teaching and preaching ministry. But any completely honest observer will concede that our Lord’s words alone provide sufficient evidence that He was the Messiah. The apostles left everything to follow Him before He did any healing or performed any other miracle. Many who heard and believed when Jesus taught in their villages had no need for...

The Merriam-Webster Dictionary defines science as “knowledge about or study of the natural world based on facts learned through experiments and observation.” So science is human knowledge of facts, which has nothing to do with human intention or politics.Yet Mao Zedong said in 1940 that “Natural science is one of man’s weapons in his fight for freedom.” In Mao’s China, science became a tool for the communist leader and his comrades to conquer the world and achieve their “freedom.”For my purposes here, I will call fact-based science Objective Science and Mao’s totalitarian science Subjective Science. My Sister Didn’t Have to DieI...

Left-wing Hollywood star Ron Perlman has given up on the United States, calling for secession in the form of a national divorce between red and blue states. Perlman laid out his proposal in a typically gruff tweet on Thursday. “It’s time that every state they would elect republicans to represent them, and all of the rest of us separate,” he tweeted. “You don’t wanna live in my world and I certainly don’t want to live in yours.” If Ron Perlman is uncomfortable with the growing partisan rancor, he can partly blame himself. The Hellboy star is one of Hollywood’s most...

WASHINGTON (AP) — Democratic Sen. Joe Manchin on Sunday endorsed Republican colleague Lisa Murkowski for reelection, crossing party lines to back the incumbent from Alaska who faces a primary challenger supported by former President Donald Trump. The conservative West Virginia lawmaker said he has teamed well with Murkowski in the 50-50 Senate to build bipartisan support for legislation such as President Joe Biden’s infrastructure law. He said Alaska and the Senate are well-served with her in office. “It’s hypocritical to basically work with a person day in and day out and then, when they’re in cycle, you’re supposed to be...

For four years, Mike Pence served as the loyal vice president to then-President Donald Trump. Everything changed on Jan. 6, 2021, as right-wing extremists – including some chanting "hang Mike Pence" - stormed the U.S. Capitol aiming to upend congressional certification of President Biden’s Electoral College victory that was overseen by Pence. In the year since the end of the Trump administration, the former president and vice president have further drifted apart, with Pence acknowledging recently in a Fox News interview that he had not spoken with Trump since last summer.

Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel issued an apology after claiming that unvaxxed children are at risk of contracting a "serious condition" from the omicron variant of the coronavirus during an MSNBC interview Wednesday. "With the omicron variant, kids are either going to get the vaccine or they’re likely to get a serious condition of omicron," Emanuel said on "Andrea Mitchell Reports." "Having omicron with the vaccine is almost invariably going to be better and safer for children. I am confused about parents' attitudes. Five and above seems like a no-brainer. Two to five, I understand some hesitancy. Two and under with the...

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) on Feb. 4 outlined an expected change to the COVID-19 vaccine schedule for people with weak immune systems and signaled that a different alteration is coming for the general population to try to cut the number of post-vaccination heart inflammation cases. The CDC told its vaccine advisory panel that it is planning to adjust guidance for people with compromised immune systems, a group that doesn’t respond as well to vaccines as the general population and is the only population that is advised to get four shots of the Moderna or Pfizer jabs, or...

Former Gov. Chris Christie (R-N.J.) said on Sunday that a Republican National Committee (RNC) resolution that noted “legitimate political discourse” on Jan. 6 was a mistake. “First of all, they say that part of the reason for the resolution is they want to keep the focus on Joe Biden and the failures of the Democratic administration,” Christie told host Martha Raddatz on ABC's "This Week." “Well, how did that work for you? All anybody is talking about this weekend is this resolution rather than talking about the failures of the Biden administration.”
