There's always the first half of next year.
Why are there still any fans of Wokeball?
And?
They were on the top of the heap, the best team in the NFL halfway through the season...and then the wheels came off.
Why is that?
Please spare us the SJW stuff.
This! Anyone still watching NFL football is like a Jew paying dues to the Nazi party. Amazing what people will trade for a little entertainment. Weak minds and souls.
I wish the NFL had.
The coach. That’s his MO. Even in college. Great for the first half, crap for the 2nd.
At least Arizona has a good half. We Lions fans just have two bad ones.
The NFL uploads an abridged version of every game to Youtube within minutes of its conclusion. You can watch every play in about 15-20 minutes — no commercials, no babbling commentary and no shrieking lady “sportcasters” on the sidelines fawning over inarticulate millionaires.
“SJW stuff”
I am thinking if San Jose had a NFL team they would have to name it the San Jose Woke/Social Justice Warriors.
SJW.
;-)
We Lions fans just have two bad ones.
You may be in for a pleasant surprise next season.
Yeah, the San Jose Wokes. SJW’s. That’s funny.
The Birds have had three seasons in a row under the present head coach, three seasons during which they had great first parts of the season followed by collapse. This head coach's record as a college coach had the same problem.
My theory is the coach is good at putting together a system and plays which work great until the opposing teams figure them out. Kind of like how a new baseball pitcher can be a marvel until everybody scouts him.
I'm just guessing, since I haven't watched a football game in years.
Actually, I do think so, too. I like Dan Campbell a lot.
I never think that a good coordinator automatically makes one a good coach. The game changes, and what worked one season, may not work the next.
A good Head Coach is the CEO, who manages the team, builds the team culture and identity. Coordinators come and go, but the team identity stays. Saban has to deal with new coordinators every year, but he still is successful because as the head coach he only deals with the big things, and not the minutiae, that’s what the assistants are for.
That is how I’ve watched the playoffs for many years.
Your 1-4 rookie picks gave a pretty good accounting for themselves which suggests better days may be ahead for you guys.
Nope..the owners will see to that.
As for Green Bay. Rodgers goes, Adams goes, one or both Smiths will go. Unless they get a hell of a lot for trades, I dont see that team doing anything.
GB has a huge salary cap problem.
I dont see that whole division doing anything in the near future.
Matter of fact, I wouldnt be surprised to see Rodgers in San Fran next year. But its gonna cost San Fran, or whoever tries to take the bait.
LA put all their marbles into one season.
In all fairness, at least Saban has a professional offensive line to work with.
