I’m going to be straight with you guys. Football isn’t really my jam. You’ll find me at basketball games on occasion, but when it comes to football, I really only start to pay attention as we head towards the end of the season, and all the parties for playoffs and the big game at season end. As you can probably guess, it’s not because I care about who is actually playing. I’m just here for the snacks, okay? I even have a t-shirt to that effect, for wearing to these parties, haha! Why are game day snacks just so dang...

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security and U.S. Department of Labor announced that 20,000 H-2B visas will become available Friday, after exhausting the 33,000 visas set aside for the first half of the year before it even began. Citing record job growth, the agencies made the additional visas that were first announced in December available for domestic employers that are facing down or already experiencing irreparable harm if they can't secure additional temporary nonagricultural workers before March 31. The government also set aside 6,500 of the newly added visas for migrants from the so-called Northern Triangle countries El Salvador, Guatemala...

ransomnote: A friend noted that he was able to walk into Walgreens without a mask on and no one said anything to him the entire time, although all others remained masked. The manager assisted him at one point, standing beside him at a product display (no social distancing). So we guessed mandates were quietly lifted in California.I checked California's website and some restrictions have lifted, but some for masking seem a little vague, perhaps hoping that people will continue with prior requirements. 'Public' spaces require masking, but that seems to be airports, government buildings etc. but not private businesses unless...

The business relationships between President Joe Biden’s son Hunter and Chinese Communist Party elites are explored in Peter Schweizer’s new book Red-Handed: How American Elites Get Rich Helping China Win. Some of Hunter’s Chinese deals were helpful to the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), China’s colonialist scheme for buying influence across the Third World and luring poor nations into taking loans from Chinese banks they can never repay. BRI first appears early in Red-Handed with Hunter Biden’s effort to use Chinese money to buy the national railroad of Greece. Hunter’s partner in this endeavor was the China Open Shipping Corporation...

ABC’s "The View" co-host Whoopi Goldberg declared the Holocaust was "not about race" despite the systematic killing of an estimated six million Jews, leading to sharp criticism of the outspoken liberal. The daytime gabfest was in the midst of a conversation about a Tennessee school district voting to remove a Pulitzer Prize winning graphic novel about the Holocaust from its curriculum due to "inappropriate language" and an illustration of a nude woman. "Maus" by Art Spiegelman tells the story of his Jewish parents living in 1940s Poland and depicts him interviewing his father about his experiences as a Holocaust survivor.

Billionaire Leon Cooperman asked Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders, and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez exactly what it is that he has done wrong. They refused to answer him.The Washington Post recently published this article on billionaire Leon Cooperman. The article states:He… wrote letters to politicians such as Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) whenever they criticized billionaires in their speeches, because he couldn’t understand: What exactly had he done wrong? What rule had he broken? He’d been born to poor immigrant parents on the losing end of a capitalist economy. He’d attended public schools, taken on debt...

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Department of Housing and Urban Development has laid out new guidelines for the disbursal of $2 billion in disaster-relief block grants, with an emphasis on climate-change mitigation and equity for underserved communities. These block grants traditionally come with a great deal of flexibility for local authorities and recipient agencies to decide where best to target the funds depending on the nature of the disaster. But HUD is now directing recipient agencies to prioritize long-term environmental resilience and serving traditionally marginalized populations. HUD spokesman Michael Burns said the agency is defining underserved communities as areas that “were...

@JDVance1 Why does the Biden administration need this info? [records of gun sales] Relatedly, why does the ATF actually exist? If you're a cartel running drugs and guns on our southern border, Biden doesn't care. But if you buy a gun legally you get tracked by the ATF? Just get rid of it.

The Biden administration’s decision to award over a billion dollars to a Chinese company that manufactures coronavirus test kits has prompted outrage from congressional Republicans. Rep. Michael Waltz (R., Fla.) compared the Pentagon's decision to award a $1.3 billion contract to iHealth, a subsidiary of China’s Andon Health Co. Ltd. that will supply millions of COVID-19 tests to the United States, to "paying the arsonist for helping put out the fire." Waltz said he was concerned that the deal further endangers America’s supply chains and that the United States cannot be reliant on a hostile country such as China, where...

Yet another funeral director is sounding the alarm over the massive spike in 'natural' deaths that are anything but natural. Funeral director John O’Looney of Milton Keynes family funeral services in Milton Keynes, England lays out the details in this 30+ minute video and explains that all of those he is referring to are fully or partially vaxxed!“So, what we’re seeing is an ever-growing number, particularly of thrombosis deaths, interestingly. So, that comes across as heart attack, aneurysm, or stroke, and they’re in unprecedented numbers. I’ve never seen as many deaths. And not in just the elderly. It’s all manner...

White House press secretary Jen Psaki mocked media outlets who focused on the consequences of 'soft-on-crime' policies during a surge in violence across the country and said some coverage is from an 'alternate universe'. Psaki was speaking about a Fox News segment during an appearance on the Pod Save America podcast last week when she questioned what 'soft-on-crime consequence' even means and insisted Americans care 'more about what’s happening in their lives than what’s necessarily happening in every cable news chyron'. She laughed off concerns despite a 510 percent nationwide spike in carjackings over the last year, 24 police officers...

It’s now been two years that COVID-19 has been in Illinois and for most of that, children have had to wear masks in schools, when they’ve been open. An expected ruling from a circuit court could change that. The case of more than 700 parents suing more than 140 school districts over mask and exclusion mandates on children without due process is under advisement by Sangamon County Circuit Court Judge Raylene Grischow. She said earlier this month to not expect a ruling before Friday. Earlier this month, Assistant Attorney General Thomas Verticchio argued in court for the mandates he said...
