The 45th president weighed-in on Joe Biden’s blunders and the current state of how elections are run. Donald Trump highlighted election practices that are illegal in many states and the abuse of U.S. election procedures by Democrats. In an interview with Lou Dobbs on Thursday, Trump said mail-in ballots and drop boxes are ripe for fraud. This comes as Georgia launched a formal probe into those practices in its 2020 elections in violation of the state law. Trump also stressed stolen elections are having disastrous consequences for the U.S. Trump then commented that runaway inflation, labor shortages and the supply...

A Republican lawmaker in Arizona is pushing legislation in the state's House of Representatives that would allow the state's Legislature to overturn primary or general election results. The legislation was introduced by state Rep. John Fillmore, a Republican, and it would be a significant overhaul of Arizona's voting procedure. If passed, the majority of early and absentee voting would be eliminated, and Arizonans would be required to vote in their respective home precinct, according to a report. However, the most dramatic change the legislation would bring would be the requirement to convene for a special session following an election to...

Neil Young, who recently chose to have his music removed from Spotify in protest of vaccine misinformation promoted by podcast host Joe Rogan, says his decision has nothing to do with censorship. “I support free speech,” Young wrote in a letter posted to his Neil Young Archives site. “I have never been in favor of censorship. Private companies have the right to choose what they profit from, just as I can choose not to have my music support a platform that disseminates harmful information. I am happy and proud to stand in solidarity with the front line health care workers...

The organization’s executive director stepped down just months after the nonprofit declared it had raised over $90 million, and in the year since, there’s been no one at the helm, according to a Washington Examiner investigation.

At a short hearing Friday, Judge Bruce Schroeder approved two deals — one, agreed to by Rittenhouse, was to let authorities destroy the rifle; the other was to divvy up the $2 million bail with actor Ricky Schroder and a Texas non-profit organization led by Atlanta lawyer Lin Wood. Under the agreement, $920,000 will be paid, in trust, to Richards & Dimmer, the Racine law firm that defended Rittenhouse. Another $925,000 will go to #FightBack Foundation. Schroder, who posed with Rittenhouse soon after he was released on bail, gets back $150,000 he contributed. snip Rittenhouse was 17 at the time...

The Biden administration is exploring ways for Medicare beneficiaries to get over-the-counter, at-home COVID-19 tests for free. The White House is requiring private insurance companies to cover the cost of eight at-home COVID-19 tests per person each month, if the customer files for reimbursement. The requirement was put in place as a result of the massive surge in infections due to the omicron variant.

On Friday, Michael Adder, the political cartoonist for the Washington Post, mocked the Freedom Convoy of truckers crossing the breadth of Canada and heading for the nation’s capital, Ottawa, to protest against Canada’s vaccine mandate. Adder created a cartoon of numerous trucks, all labeled in capital letters “FASCISM,” adding the hashtags, “fascism” and “supplychain.” Roughly five hours later, The Post printed an opinion piece attacking the convoy. The author, David Moscrop, wrote, “The movement shares an affinity with Trumpist toxic authoritarianist politics.”

Former Fox News anchor Gretchen Carlson appeared Thursday on CNN’s Democracy in Peril, where she spoke about the current condition of her former network. Carlson first spoke about the power FNC opinion host Tucker Carlson seems to have over Republicans in Congress, some of whom have followed his lead and sided with authoritarian Russia in the growing conflict with Ukraine. “This is the result of fake news,” Carlson said. “You know, we're seeing not only the fallout from fake news during the Trump era, but what happened with the insurrection on Jan. 6. Now it's moving into other areas. Not...

Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer announced his retirement this week, setting off a flurry of rumors around a potential replacement. However, voters now say they are not in favor of President Joe Biden’s plan to choose a nominee based on race and gender. Biden promised multiple times on the campaign trail to nominate a black woman to the high court. Polling from Rasmussen found that idea does not have as much support as Biden might think. Only 26% of those surveyed say basing Supreme Court picks on race and gender is “a good idea.” In fact, only 16% of independents...

The Washington Post continues to maintain that Joe Biden has Republicans right where he wants them, thanks to his decision to appoint a black women to the Supreme Court. This article by Mike DeBonis is called (in the paper edition) “Supreme Court battle puts Republicans on the spot.” Dan Balz’s article is called “Breyer’s retirement gives Biden a fresh opportunity for a badly needed victory.” But I continue to believe that, if anything, the political considerations here probably favor the GOP. A close reading of today’s Post supplies me with evidence. For example, the big frontpage headline in the paper...

... In the name of this Bigger Lie, America’s governing class of academics, security staters, elected lawmakers, and media propagandists are preparing to sweep away what remains of America’s democratic process. Their goal: To render the 2024 election null, with a preordained outcome that poses no danger to the ruling elite’s wishes. And the planning for this revolution is happening right out in public. This planning is taking place in public because it has to be. America’s elites are trained in the methods of the so-called “color revolution.” Unlike the palace coups and military invasions of old, a color revolution...

Organizers say they are expecting “hundreds of trucks and vehicles” to attend and participate in the blockade stopping border-crossings in both directions “until all mandates and restrictions are lifted.” A group of Alberta farmers say they are poised to try and blockade the Coutts border crossing in conjunction with the Freedom Convoy demonstration in Ottawa. Organizer Nick Friesen, from outside Taber, said he expects truckers from all over Southern Alberta to take part — with drivers from the US also blockading the border on their side. “I know of one trucking group that’s sending 30 trucks, another company is sending...

In ice cores from both ends of the planet, scientists have discovered evidence of an extreme solar storm that struck Earth around 9,200 years ago, and strangely, it seemed to have occurred during a period when the Sun should have been rather quiet. The Sun regularly throws off solar flares and bursts of plasma called coronal mass ejections (CMEs), and if they collide with Earth they can affect our planet’s magnetosphere. Most of the time the only result is stronger aurorae, but powerful CMEs can damage satellites, disrupt communications, and even shut down electrical transmission lines. Radioactive isotopes like beryllium-10...

WASHINGTON, D.C.—Earlier this week, President Biden was spotted at Home Depot using color swatches to help him choose the next Supreme Court Justice. "Hmmm... should I go with the 'Neutral Tans' or the 'Balmy Browns' Collection?" Biden said to himself. "Everything is riding on this!" Store employees report the president was looking through the color swatches for hours, only stopping to eat ice cream. Secret Service agents blocked off the aisle and refused to let other customers shop for their home projects. Biden reportedly asked an employee for help but the white man was too afraid to risk being accidentally...
