It’s been rumored that Gavin Newsom is out of sight since getting his booster on Oct 27 because he developed Guillain-Barre Syndrome (GBS) or Bell’s Palsy. This can happen within hours after getting his booster so this make perfect sense. This also explains why nobody has seen him in public since then; anyone who saw him would instantly know. I checked into this and I’m over 90% sure that this is true (but I can’t tell you publicly about it without revealing my source) which prompted me to write this article.

It’s one of the old Washington truisms – things are treated differently depending upon the letter after the politician’s name. If it’s a (D), it might not even be a story, no matter what it is. If it’s an (R), all presses must be stopped and every story rewritten to reflect just how big of a scandal whatever the story happens to be is. Even if they are the same stories. Similarly, everything good that happens under a Democrat President is a direct result of their actions and policies, no matter how disconnected from reality that sentiment may be. Enjoy...

From Dec 8, all COVID-19 patients who are unvaccinated "by choice" will have to pay their own medical bills if they are admitted to hospitals or COVID-19 treatment facilities, the Ministry of Health (MOH) said on Monday (Nov 8). The Government is currently footing the full COVID-19 medical bills of all Singaporeans, permanent residents and long-term pass holders, other than for those who test positive soon after returning from overseas travel. "Currently, unvaccinated persons make up a sizeable majority of those who require intensive inpatient care, and disproportionately contribute to the strain on our healthcare resources," said MOH.

The execution of a Malaysian drug trafficker was stayed on Tuesday (Nov 9) by the Court of Appeal, after he tested positive for COVID-19. Nagaenthran Dharmalingam, who has been on death row for 11 years, was ushered in briefly into the dock for a last-bid attempt against his death sentence. However, he was later taken away, and a judge informed the court that Nagaenthran had tested positive for COVID-19.

A group of young students in France are under severe threat by Muslims. An Oct. 14, 2021 report has the details: Several Nantes high school students have been subjected to harassment and threats online for several days… It all started with a video shot in January in a private setting and which was not intended to be broadcast…. [T]he 17-second film made during a birthday party shows young people, then in third grade, laughing as they imitate Muslims praying. The images nonetheless ended up on Twitter and Instagram in early October, prompting a torrent of insults and death threats. On being...

On August 7, 2021, I wrote about how states along our southern border could thwart the Biden (*) administration’s material support for the drug cartels and the crimes being committed by invoking the RICO Statute. The statute seems to address directly the various activities in which the administration has engaged over the last ten months at our Southern border. Here, from NOLO, is the meat of that statute: Passed in 1970, the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO) is a federal law designed to combat organized crime in the United States. It allows prosecution and civil penalties for racketeering...

Once upon a time resident Joe Biden was against vaccine mandates. As president-elect in December 2020, he was asked, "Do you want vaccines to be mandatory?" His answer at the time seemed clear, "No I don't think it should be mandatory, I wouldn't demand it be mandatory." But that was then, and this is now. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi agreed. Last April, when asked about vaccine mandates, she made her position clear, "So—so here is the thing. We are—we cannot require someone to be vaccinated. That's just not what we can do. It is a matter of privacy to know...

So...it's 2:30 Pacific Time. I woke up after a bad dream and my mind started spinning. Like an epiphany, but in the very worst way. I am normally not one to give up on things I care about, as was the case after the 2020 election*. Demoralized yes, but determined to make my voice heard more than ever. Became very active on social media etc. It's just been blow after blow since this administration was installed and I was starting to think that a majority of people support it all. Then Virginia happened. I was elated! I felt like there...

The California business community has an idea for easing the supply chain crisis: Suspend recent labor-friendly laws affecting warehouse workers and independent contractors. Businesses say they will be able to move goods more quickly if the state suspends the 2019 law that requires companies to provide more workers with employment benefits. Ditto for the law that prevents warehouses from enforcing quotas that limit people’s ability to take bathroom breaks. Nineteen state business organizations argued those points in their Oct. 19 letter to Gov. Gavin Newsom. Newsom and labor interests strongly disagree. “Getting rid of bathroom breaks for warehouse workers, and...

California Gov. Gavin Newsom briskly scheduled a livestreamed appearance after a day of inquisitive reporting on his whereabouts. His office released a media advisory late Monday to say Newsom, who has not had a public appearance since canceling his visit to a United Nations climate summit last month, will speak at the California Economic Summit at approximately 11:45 a.m. local time. The "fireside chat" at the event hosted by California Forward will be livestreamed, the statement said. Newsom's last public appearance was on Oct. 27, when he received a COVID-19 booster shot. He abruptly canceled a visit to Glasgow, Scotland,...

Grosskreitz (aka The One Arm Man) allegedly blew well over the legal blood alcohol limit but had his charges dismissed. He openly admitted in court to illegal conceal carry of a handgun as well. No charges. Despite a search warrant signed by a judge, the DA’s office told the investigating officer not to search Grosskreutz phone for evidence. This despite his live-streaming and taking photographs during the riots.

*** SNIP *** Alexander Cardinale expected to feel joy when his second daughter was born in September 2019. He and his wife Daphna had been trying for years to complete their family, and they underwent in vitro fertilization, including one failed cycle, to finally conceive. "To feel like you can't provide shelter for your kids is the biggest sense of parenting failure," says Brandi Dailey, of Loma Linda. Sadly, it's a common feeling for many families who struggle to keep a roof over their heads. It’s especially true for single moms. Dailey who founded the nonprofit, Thrive Single Moms, says housing costs in the Inland Empire have risen by 12% in one year alone. "Housing costs is the majority of your income coming in every single month and you're scraping by usually two or three jobs just to keep housing over your head," says Dailey....

Remington Firearms announced Monday that it will invest $100 million in a factory and research operations in Georgia, the Associated Press reported. Remington's headquarters will be moved from New York to LaGrange, Georgia, which is southwest of Atlanta. The country's oldest gun maker is one of many corporations to leave the Northeast in favor of the politically gun-welcoming South. "We are very excited to come to Georgia, a state that not only welcomes business but enthusiastically supports and welcomes companies in the firearms industry," Remington CEO Ken D'Arcy said in a statement. D'Arcy said he plans to create over 850...
