Newsom is scheduled to speak today at CA Forward’s 2021 Economic Summit event in Monterey. He’s scheduled to appear 11:45am. The event will be livestreamed. It’ll be his first live event since announcing the cancellation of his trip to Glasgow.

In the old days (before the 1990s), there would have been a dozen California newspapers whipped up on this story and sending reporters out to find this guy.
