Before parents consent to vaccinate their children against COVID, basic medical ethics requires that they be informed of how safe the vaccine is. Yet in a shocking on-video admission, Dr. Eric Ruben, an advisory committee member to the FDA, said this about the COVID vaccine in children five to eleven during an official FDA hearing: “We’re never going to learn about how safe the vaccine is until we start giving it. That’s just the way it goes.” No, Dr. Ruben, that isn’t “the way it goes.” American children are not experimental subjects. You could and should have demanded more safety...

ROME — President Biden sought to reverse key policies and approaches of former president Donald Trump during this weekend’s summit of the Group of 20, and attempted to ensure those reversals would stay in place even if there is a change in American leadership.... ...“The United States of America is the most critical part of this entire agenda,” Biden said at a Sunday news conference, responding to a suggestion that the U.S. return to global leadership remains in doubt. “Everyone sought me out...." ...But Biden’s top advisers acknowledged that world leaders approached the talks with a concern that Trump, or...

A Loudoun County, Virginia, mom said at a school board meeting this month that she pulled her children from the public school system after her 6-year-old asked her if she was "born evil" because she’s white. "We had specifically moved them out of LCPS due to the swift and uncompromising political agenda of Superintendents Williams, Ziegler, and the school board had forced upon us. First, it was in the early spring of 2020 when my six-year-old somberly came to me and asked me if she was born evil because she was a white person. Something she learned in a history...

Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki calls it “World War III” — an initiation of hostilities by the European Union to which his government will respond by blocking all business in Brussels. Strong language, you might think. Then again, if World War I and World War II taught Poles anything, it was the value of national independence. The dispute between the EU and Poland is about sovereignty, pure and simple. Can a country be in the EU and remain self-governing? Eurocrats say it cannot, and the signs are that they will get their way... ...Poland’s judges do not deny that EU...

The Taliban has shown its support for anti-climate change efforts, calling for international aid to help complete environmental projects in Afghanistan. Citing a need to protect the country’s ‘fragile climate’, Taliban spokesman Suhail Shaheen said ‘tremendous work’ was needed to help Afghanistan become greener. Mr Shaheen said: ‘Afghanistan has a fragile climate. There is need for tremendous work.’ Relief agencies have warned that a drought in Afghanistan, which UN scientists say has been worsened by climate change, could force 22 million into 'acute food insecurity'. Writing on Twitter, he said: ‘The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan is committed to providing security...

...During a House Homeland Security Committee hearing in March, Mayorkas admitted there were “instances” in which illegal immigrants were released into the country — without being tested for COVID-19. Months later in September, he still could not provide a comprehensive coronavirus testing plan to the committee.... ...For examples of their mismanagement, look no further than the recent rise of COVID at the border and neighboring communities. Over the summer in the Rio Grande Valley Sector, the number of detainees testing positive for COVID-19 increased by 900%. Imagine how many more Americans have been infected due to the Biden administration’s negligence.......

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki revealed on Sunday evening she had tested positive for COVID-19... While I have not had close contact in person with the president or senior members of the White House staff since Wednesday – and tested negative for four days after that last contact – I am disclosing today’s positive test out of an abundance of transparency,' she said in a statement.

French President Emmanuel Macron’s accusation, on the sidelines of the G20 meeting, that Scott Morrison is a liar is of course ridiculous. Nonetheless there is substance in the French leader’s charge that Australia may not get a nuclear submarine in any relevant time frame. And there is also substance in the charge that there is a certain reputational cost to the way the conventional submarine issue has been decided in Australia. The real villain from Australia’s point of view, however, is not the tiny foot stamping, cheek puffing episode of Macron, but the really disappointing and much more damaging betrayal...

On Friday, Joe Biden met with Pope Francis at the Vatican. Mysteriously, the TV feed was abruptly cut off by officials, and video of Biden speaking with the Pope never made it to viewers. I did happen to see Jack Posobiec’s tweet about the incident on Friday, but I had since long forgotten about it. Later on Saturday evening, news began to break that Biden had reportedly lost control of his bowels and was rushed to the bathroom by his staff. The story has been corroborated by multiple sources, and there appears to be mounting evidence that the 78-year-old demented...

(CNN)The judge in the trial of Kyle Rittenhouse, who fatally shot two protesters in Kenosha, Wisconsin, made headlines last week by reiterating his longstanding rule of not allowing prosecutors to refer to people as "victims" before juries in his courtroom. At the same time, Kenosha County Circuit Court Judge Bruce Schroeder said at a pretrial hearing that the men who were shot could be described as "looters" or "rioters" if the defense can show they engaged in such activity during protests after a police officer shot Jacob Blake in August 2020, leaving Blake paralyzed.

NYC has issued a state-wide call for firefighters from both Long Island and Upstate New York as one-third of city firefighters remain unvaccinated ahead of the November 1 deadline, leaving 26 firehouses shuttered. About 72 percent of FDNY workers have been vaccinated ahead of the November 1 deadline, meaning that up to 4,000 workers may be terminated from the department. The message was sent through email as nearly 350 potential volunteer firefighters were tagged.

Greta Thunberg may not have been officially invited to the COP26 climate summit in Glasgow, Scotland, but on the first day of the conference, she was making her presence felt. The Swedish teenager, who is something of a rock star for climate campaigners worldwide, is among thousands of activists descending on Glasgow for the 12-day U.N. Climate Change Conference of the Parties, known as COP26, which kicked off Sunday. They are calling on world leaders to take bold action to prevent global temperatures from rising by more than 1.5 degrees Celsius (2.7 degrees Fahrenheit) above preindustrial levels. *** Thunberg arrived...

Warlord Habibullah Kalakani, deposed after ten months styling himself King of Afghanistan, was publicly shot on this date in 1929. An ethnic Tajik whose surname alludes to his native village north of Kabul, Kalakani served in the army of Emir Amanullah Khan.* This Khan aspired to far-reaching reforms that would modernize his marchlands kingdom and not for the last time an Afghan ruler found this programme stoked a furious resistance among tribal grandees. Kalakani, though derisively nicknamed Bacha Seqao (son of a water-carrier) was just such a grandee, having pivoted profitably from regular military orders to highway robbery. When Khan’s...

In the world we live in today, energy is required for almost everything. From powering your car to keeping the lights on in your home, energy is needed not only for your daily needs but also for producing everything that humans consume. As the population soars unsustainably, so does the energy demand. The demand in global energy consumption is expected to grow significantly in the coming decades, let’s look at some figures. With the global population expected to increase by 2 billion in the next two decades, electricity generation is estimated to increase by almost 49 per cent by the...
