This guy is every vegetarian’s worst nightmare. Nebraska resident Weston Rowe has been consuming a raw meat-based diet, including raw chicken, for the last three years and has no plans to stop. Rowe, 39, eats raw, protein-rich foods such as beef, liver, chicken and other animal organs. All products are locally sourced from dairy and poultry farms. He believes that the diet has helped raise his energy levels — despite many warnings about infections including dangerous salmonella. “I am in better health both physically and mentally, better than I’ve ever been in my life,” Rowe told Caters News Agency. He...

People in the socialist left ruled State of Victoria live in fear of police violence and a corrupt court system backing them up. https://youtu.be/9TjgGJHDVxo They threw Cardinal George Pell, the number 4 man in the Vatican under both conservative Benedict and ultra-liberal Francis, into jail for over 400 days in a judgement overturned 7 to 0 by the High Court. I live in fear. And in hope that conservative proudly revivalist Christian Prime Minister Scott Morrison (ScoMo) will stand up against them and defend human rights (https://freedom-demokrasi-and-civilised-humanity.com/2021/09/21/lockdowns-a-human-rights-crisis/) and human life. Just as Americans can be proud of the consistent stand...

A new report from The Wall Street Journal says that contingents of U.S. special operations forces and U.S. Marines have been making more regular rotational deployments to Taiwan for at least a year now. This news comes a day after Chiu Kuo Cheng, the island's defense minister, said publicly that Chinese forces would be capable of launching a "full-scale" invasion operation across the Taiwan Strait with far fewer risks than they face now by 2025.

According to the 2021 World Nuclear Industry Status Report, global nuclear power generation dropped 3.9 percent in 2020 despite a 4.4 percent climb in China, where two new reactors were added. In 2021, 415 reactors were operational around the world – 22 fewer than in 2011. Another 26 are currently in long-term storage and 53 are under construction – around half in China and India. The rapid expansion of renewables and negative public sentiment towards nuclear energy created by disasters such as those in Chernobyl or Fukushima have been turning nuclear power into an also-ran of global energy generation. Nuclear...

The most famous case of a released laboratory strain is the re-emergent H1N1 influenza A virus which was first observed in China in May of 1977 and in Russia shortly thereafter. This outbreak marked the return of a seasonal H1N1 human influenza virus after a nearly 20-year absence following its displacement during the 1957 H2N2 pandemic. Scientists quickly realized that something was unusual about this re-emergent H1N1 strain; it was genetically similar, though not identical, to an H1N1 isolate from 1950. Initially it was suggested that this virus could have lain dormant or evolved slowly in non-human hosts for decades,...

China has expressed "grave concerns" about a U.S. submarine that hit an unknown object in the South China Sea last week. Foreign ministry spokesperson Zhao Lijian said on Friday that China urged the U.S. to provide details, its purpose of cruising, and whether it caused a nuclear leak or damaged the marine environment, the state-owned newspaper Global Times reported. U.S. officials, speaking anonymously to the Associated Press, on Thursday said that an American nuclear submarine hit the object while submerged in waters in the South China Sea, injuring 11 sailors on board. The submarine remains "fully operational" the officials said,...

On Thursday’s broadcast of CNN’s “The Lead,” Rep. Mondaire Jones (D-NY) praised Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) for “calling out the intellectual laziness of Sen. Manchin when he said that I think 1.5 trillion should do it and we don’t want to move towards what he called an entitlement society.” And said that he “thought we had advanced beyond such outdated notions.”

Here's a jarring thought: Most political analysts, and most political strategists for our two political parties, have been operating off flawed data and flawed assumptions. The result has been one political surprise after another, and the election of the two most unsatisfactory presidents, in the minds of many voters, since Franklin Pierce and James Buchanan in the 1850s. The flawed data has been apparent for some years, since a June 9, 2016, column by New York Times election analyst Nate Cohn. As he recently reprised in a Twitter thread, his argument was that there are more noncollege white voters in...

The energy crisis in Europe exposed the complexity of a transition to green energy: it is not happening overnight, and it cannot be done successfully with the old tricks. Energy systems, markets, and grids globally need fundamental changes to legislation, regulation, and oversight in order to accommodate 100-percent zero-emission sources. And even in that case, power systems need flexibility and backups in order to avert similar crises down the road as many parts of the world commit to net-zero emissions by 2050 or 2060. The current crisis in the UK is a cautionary tale about how not to rush to...

VIDEOOf course, Terry McAuliffe won't suffer the consequences of being censored on social media because the election he claimed was stolen was the 2000 election. Also note that in the months after that election there was NO pushback against a conglomerate of newspapers, led by the New York Times, conducting an AUDIT of the Florida ballots. In addition there was even an HBO movie starring Kevin Spacey as Ron Klain (Biden's puppet-master chief of staff), that questioned the validity of the 2000 Florida ballots. Also of interest is that none of the many public figures that continue to claim the...

DeKalb County Elections Director Erica Hamilton resigned Thursday, roughly a month after she was placed on an extended leave of absence by elections board leaders. The five-member board voted unanimously to accept Hamilton’s resignation during a called special meeting. Election Board chairperson Dele Lowman Smith also announced the board will begin a nationwide search for Hamilton’s permanent replacement, along with a new deputy director position. No explanation was given for Hamilton’s leave of absence at the time, and election board members didn’t provide any details Thursday. In a statement, Lowman Smith said, “The Board thanks Ms. Hamilton for her service...

A twisted Northwestern University professor accused of murdering his boyfriend in 2017 pulled a knife on a man he met on Grindr a year earlier while asking if he could pretend to stab him as they had sex, according to court testimony. Jeremy Zaloun, testifying Thursday before a Cook County judge in the first-degree murder trial of former professor Wyndham Lathem, said he denied the frightening request by the renowned microbiologist and told him he wanted to leave, the Chicago Tribune reported. “He told me I would leave when he said I could,” the 46-year-old military vet told jurors. “I...

Senator Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI) said Thursday on MSNBC’s “The Rachel Maddow Show” that former President Donald Trump was “neck-deep in this personally” in trying to overturn the 2020 presidential election. Discussing the new Senate Judiciary Committee report on Donald Trump’s actions after the 2020 election, Whitehouse said, “I think really key takeaways from this, the first is a simple one, that’s how deeply personally involved President Trump was in all of this. Meetings and phone calls, and contacts in the Oval Office. He was neck-deep in this personally. That would be point one.”
