Many of us have witnessed suspiciously precocious kids at town halls asking the candidate a cutesy question that just so happens to jibe just so perfectly with the candidate's views. The suspicion naturally arises that Mom or Dad carefully coached their child in order to aid the candidate! On Thursday's Morning Joe, they discussed mask mandates with San Antonio's Mayor Ron Nirenberg, who had obtained a temporary restraining order blocking Republican Governor Greg Abbott's order prohibiting schools from mandating masks. At one point, MSNBC contributor Katty Kay asked what the response from parents has been. Naturally, Nirenberg said that he...

California reported 14,099 new cases on Friday, the highest one-day total the state has seen since February 1, 2021. That is up from 10,450 new cases reported the day before, and comes amid a general trend of rising cases and quickly rising infection rates. Things get a little murky from there, as the state’s case number reporting on many recent days has included the proviso, “Numbers may not represent true day-over-day change as reporting of test results can be delayed.” See for yourself here. Such was the case with Thursday’s case numbers and for most of the days in the...

Old COVID narrative = A “Delta Variant” transmissible regardless of vaccinated status, but presumably with the vaccine you won’t get as sick… or so they say. However, not content with the vaccine results so far…. …Now we get the new COVID narrative – A “Lambda Variant” that is not only infectious and transmissible regardless of vaccinated status (just like Delta), but the Lambda Variant is also resistant to any antiviral immunity, meaning the COVID-19 vaccine doesn’t work against it. New York Post – As the US struggles to suppress the rapidly advancing coronavirus Delta variant, new evidence has emerged that...

New York City experienced dramatic growth over the last ten years, bringing its current population to a record 8.8 million, according to the U.S. Census Bureau, which released the first detailed statistics from the 2020 Census. On balance, the city added more than 629,000 residents, from 8.175 million measured in 2010, but city planning officials said that a big part of the story was that far fewer residents left the city than had been projected by census officials.

Explanation: If not perfect then this spiral galaxy is at least one of the most photogenic. An island universe of about 100 billion stars, 32 million light-years away toward the constellation Pisces, M74 presents a gorgeous face-on view. Classified as an Sc galaxy, the grand design of M74's graceful spiral arms are traced by bright blue star clusters and dark cosmic dust lanes. This sharp composite was constructed from image data recorded by the Hubble Space Telescope's Advanced Camera for Surveys. Spanning about 30,000 light-years across the face of M74, it includes exposures recording emission from hydrogen atoms, highlighting the...

August 12, 2021. History will register it as the day the Taliban, nearly 20 years after 9/11 and the subsequent toppling of their 1996-2001 reign by American bombing, struck the decisive blow against the central government in Kabul. In a coordinated blitzkrieg, the Taliban all but captured three crucial hubs: Ghazni and Kandahar in the center, and Herat in the west. They had already captured most of the north. As it stands, the Taliban control 14 (italics mine) provincial capitals and counting. First thing in the morning, they took Ghazni, which is situated around 140 kilometers from Kabul. The repaved...

#2 Son just got noticed that any employee without a shot of 'experimental gene therapy' stuff will be terminated. -> He works REMOTELY -- probably about 500+ MILES from the next employee -- AT HOME -> He and his family recovered from Raging COVID last year. Therefore, his immunity load is probably better and more persistent than anything the drug companies can offer, now or ever. The company's blanket policy can not be based on safety or science. Their policy must be purely political. "My body, my choice" applies only to a privileged part of the population apparently. Our family...

Mike Lindell has a higher net favorability than outgoing New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, GOP Sen. Lindsey Graham and Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Jim Jordan, according to a new Economist/YouGov poll. The poll was conducted from Aug. 7 to 10, just days after Attorney General Letitia James’ office found Cuomo had sexually harassed multiple women. The final day of polling took place Tuesday, when he resigned from office. James, it should be noted, beat Lindell in the favorability poll. Overall, 14% of respondents had a “very favorable” view of Lindell, who has been sued by Dominion Voting Systems for continuing...

Barcoding Americans: Is White House planning to use QR codes to verify vaccination status? A CBS reporter grilled White House COVID-19 response coordinator Jeff Zients on vaccine QR codes during a press conference Thursday. This comes as more businesses across the nation began requiring proof of vaccination. “Now that more entities are requiring more vaccines, is the administration reconsidering something like a QR code or a passport to help verify people’s vaccination status?” the reporter asked. “And if not, what are you doing to stop the proliferation of fake vaccine cards?” “There are a number of ways people can demonstrate...

[Catholic Caucus] Bergoglio’s Big BerthaPope Francis’ Assault on the Latin Mass: Here is his Big Bertha. As the dust settles following publication of the laughably entitled Traditionis Custodes (“Guardians of Tradition”), we find that numerous bishops are well disposed to allowing Latin Mass communities to continue as before, despite Pope Bergoglio’s obvious (and truly laughable) intention to eventually abolish the traditional Latin Mass altogether. As Francis puts it in his explanatory letter to the worldwide episcopate, his aim is to insure that the bishops are guided by the “need to return in due time to the Roman Rite promulgated by Saints...

Councilman Isaac Galvan, 34, Jace Dawson, 34, Kimberly Chaouch, 48, Toni Morris, 34, Barry Reed, 61 and Reginald Streeter, 51, have all been charged with conspiracy to commit election fraud. Galvan and Dawson, a former candidate for the Compton City Council, worked together to secure votes to ensure Galvan would retain his District 2 seat during a runoff election in June, the criminal complaint alleges. Chaouch, Morris, Reed and Streeter, meanwhile were allegedly registered to vote at Dawson’s address in Compton, even though they didn’t reside there. All four are charged with voting illegally in the election. Galvan ended up...

One of modern feminism's central tenets – abortion as empowerment – symbolizes failure rather than progress in the women's movement, author Erika Bachiochi suggests in a new book. Titled "The Rights of Women: Reclaiming a Lost Vision," the book portrays women as increasingly disadvantaged by principles that became prominent in the 20th century's conception of liberty. Rather than merely liberating, she argues, the industrial and sexual revolutions have disrupted longstanding dynamics that allow the sexes to pursue authentic freedom; that is, the freedom to pursue virtue in familial and social relationships. #MeToo, Harvey Weinstein and the objectifying influence of rampant...

Erykah Badu is singing the blues after unintentionally sparking Obama drama on social media. The soulful Grammy Award winner took to Twitter seeking the former first family’s forgiveness for being a "terrible guest" by posting pictures and videos of Barack Obama’s massive 60th birthday party in Martha’s Vineyard on Aug. 7. "Mr. And Mrs. Obama, Please forgive me 4 being the ‘terrible guest’ at such a sacred event for your family," Badu, 50, real name Erica Wright, tweeted Thursday. The "Window Seat" singer’s unauthorized social media posts showed the birthday boy with wife Michelle, 57, dancing mask-free among the hundreds...

In 1836, James Bowie, William B. Travis, and 183-189 men defended the Alamo in Texas from one determined Mexican general-Antonio Lopez de Santa Anna. The odds were not favorable for the brave men defending the Alamo against Santa Anna’s 1,800-6,000 attackers. The outcome was inevitable and 13days after the initial attack, Santa Anna was victorious. Those Texas defenders were tough and their death became a symbol of historic resistance. Fast forward 185 years and apparently the sacrifice of those brave men have been forgotten. Scenario #1: Biden refuses to shut the southern border and invites anyone and everyone to cross...

The Secretary of Homeland Security has issued a new National Terrorism Advisory System (NTAS) Bulletin regarding the current heightened threat environment across the United States. The Homeland continues to face a diverse and challenging threat environment leading up to and following the 20th Anniversary of the September 11, 2001 attacks as well religious holidays we assess could serve as a catalyst for acts of targeted violence. These threats include those posed by domestic terrorists, individuals and groups engaged in grievance-based violence, and those inspired or motivated by foreign terrorists and other malign foreign influences. These actors are increasingly exploiting online...
