Illegal aliens have been pouring over the border in record numbers since Joe Biden was installed in January. Fox News reporter Peter Doocy pointed out that illegal immigration is at a 21-year high. Many of the illegal aliens are infected with Covid, chicken pox and other diseases.

Prosecutors in New York City and Westchester County piled on Monday and revealed that they’ve launched criminal investigations into sexual harassment allegations made against Gov. Andrew Cuomo in the explosive report released by state Attorney General Letitia James. The probes will apparently target Cuomo’s behavior at his satellite office in Manhattan and his former home in Mount Kisco where he lived with his then-girlfriend, celebrity chef Sandra Lee. A spokesman for outgoing Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance said, “When our office learned yesterday that the Attorney General’s investigation of the Governor’s conduct was complete, our office contacted the Attorney General’s...

It's been a bumpy ride for America and the world ever since the Wuhan Coronavirus first emerged in late 2019, killing millions around the world, and sickening many more. People can be excused for feeling anxious about what lies around the next corner. Adding to and amplifying the anxiety, however, are misleading and fear-mongering doomsayers who overstate risks, fail to provide meaningful context, and generally stoke overblown concerns -- distorting how the public feels about the pandemic. By nearly any reasonable standard, the worst of this nightmare is behind us. This is certainly true in countries with high vaccination rates....

ROME — The former papal nuncio to the United States, Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò, has issued a scathing indictment of Pope Francis, calling him “the head of the most extremist faction of progressivism.” In an hour-long video message posted to YouTube earlier this week, Archbishop Viganò attacks the pope’s July 16 letter restricting the use of the Traditional Latin Mass, which Viganò calls the “highest and most sacred expression of prayer.” Francis’s “dual role as pope and liquidator of the Catholic Church allows him on the one hand to demolish it with decrees and acts of governance, and on the...

Jennifer Aniston is drawing a hard line between her and those who aren’t vaccinated against COVID-19. The “Friends” alum revealed to InStyle magazine that she has cut ties with “a few people” who won’t receive the jab. “There’s still a large group of people who are anti-vaxxers or just don’t listen to the facts. It’s a real shame,” she said in her InStyle September cover interview. “I’ve just lost a few people in my weekly routine who have refused or did not disclose [whether or not they had been vaccinated], and it was unfortunate.”

Yesterday, ‘President’ Biden violated his oath of office when he announced that the CDC was extending its illegal moratorium on evictions for another two months. Thus, the “fundamental transformation” of the United States from a constitutional Republic to a lawless Dictatorship continues. Biden is knowingly acting in defiance to both the Supreme Court and his own legal advisers. At the end of June, a majority of the justices on the Supreme Court agreed with a lower court decision that the CDC had exceeded its authority in imposing a moratorium on evictions and mortgage foreclosures. Despite this acknowledgement of the lawlessness...

State legislatures are taking up higher education reform. Sometimes higher education reform consists of attempts to regulate what happens on college campuses, such as laws that prohibit universities from requiring students to believe the tenets of critical race theory. Sometimes, as occurred recently in Idaho, state legislatures cut budgets or impose tuition freezes on universities taken with pernicious ideologies. However, whenever legislatures question university practices, universities cry that academic freedom is under assault. If legislatures start asking what is going on in the classrooms or in the curricula, professors might start worrying about what they say. If legislatures cut budgets...

Memorial of Saint John Vianney Matthew 15:21-28 Friends, a long tradition stresses the perseverance of the Canaanite woman we meet in today’s Gospel. Augustine says that we pray in order to expand our will to accept what God is going to give us. Another reading shows how the woman exemplifies the proper attitude toward God, a combination of humility and boldness, of deference and defiance. We are creatures and God is God; nevertheless, God invites us into intimacy with him. But I want to emphasize the reading conditioned by the “other.” The Old Testament speaks insistently of the “stranger, the...

A group of 19 House Democrats is calling on the Capitol physician to start mandating that lawmakers and staff on Capitol Hill be vaccinated against COVID-19 or be subject to testing at least twice per week. In a letter to the Capitol physician released on Wednesday, the Democratic lawmakers argued that "unique factors," such as the frequent travel among members of Congress who hail from all corners of the country, make people who work in the Capitol complex more at risk of exposure to COVID-19. "In addition to being Members of Congress who walk these halls and rely on your...

We’re about to find out if Democrats believe what they say about having no tolerance for sexual harassment. If they do, then they have little choice other than to move to impeach Andrew Cuomo as Governor of New York. No corporate CEO, or even a junior executive, would survive in the job amid the trail of bullying, groping, leering, unwanted kissing, and suggestive come-ons recorded in the report by six lawyers at two law firms. In one instance, the report says, Mr. Cuomo noticed a female state trooper he fancied at a public event, had her transferred to his personal...

God Loved Us And Gave Us Nutmeg. By JAG August 4, 2021 God loves us in the Small Matters of life and gave us the cheerful greens of summer, the heart-warning warm colors of Autumn ~ the reds, oranges, browns, and yellows . . . . . . and God gave us Cinnamon, Ginger, Black Pepper, Jasmine, Gardenia, and the lemony fragrance of Magnolia. The region hit that number largely in part to seven earthquake swarms, including a massive swarm that rattled the region starting July 15. The swarm, which was centered beneath Yellowstone Lake, had more than 764 quakes. The largest was a magnitude 3.6 on July 16. Swarms are typical in Yellowstone and account for about half of the total seismic activity in the region, USGS said. Larger swarms have happened before in Yellowstone. In 2017, more than 1,100 earthquakes shook the region in June, in part because of a swarm of more than 2,400 quakes that lasted three months... In 1985,...

Meghan McCain, the daughter of the late Sen. John McCain (R-AZ), said Wednesday on ABC’s “The View” that CNN host Chris Cuomo is an example of the “worst kinds of nepotism” for not covering his brother Governor Andrew Cuomo alleged sexual harassment scandal. McCain said, “You want to talk about nepotism, not having to talk about the biggest scandal in the country when it has to do with your brother, and you’re hosting CNN? That’s nepotism. The Cuomo family and CNN are the worst kinds of nepotism that the media has an example of. If it were my brother, if...

Authorities in Utah are sounding the alarm about a weird and worrisome trend wherein people hammock atop power lines. The Weber County Sheriff's Office made note of the unnerving fad in a Facebook post last week, explaining that they have seen a troubling increase in thrill-seekers attempting to pull off the far-from-relaxing feat. The department shared a photo showing two such individuals ascending a power line tower with one of the climbers having already reached a rather nerve-wracking height.

I have a bigger Stack planned on the Pfizer trial results. But Israel has gone back to being more transparent, and the new data are now too bad not to highlight.A reminder - Israel and the United Kingdom were the two major countries that vaccinated earliest and most aggressively. NEW YORK (AP) — CNN anchor Chris Cuomo appeared to offer advice on a statement by his brother, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, addressing allegations of sexual harassment, according to a report issued on Tuesday. The CNN prime-time personality testified to investigators looking into his older brother’s behavior. His name appears four times in the 165-page report issued by New York Attorney General Letitia James as one of several outside advisers who were “regularly provided with confidential and often privileged information” that impacted the government despite having no “formal role, duty, or obligation to the State.” The report’s appendix included...
