Yesterday President Biden announced that all federal workers who do not get vaccinated for COVID-19 will face a series of burdens and intrusions designed to raise the costs of not submitting to the shot(s). This is a threat to civil liberties that violates the Americans with Disabilities Act, but probably not in the way you think. No COVID-19 vaccine on the market has yet been granted full FDA approval, only Emergency Use Authorization, which means, according to statute, that Americans have “the option to accept or refuse administration of the product.” FDCA § 564(e)(1)(A)(ii)(III). In a shoddy legal memo, Biden...

Menstrual America has gained the upper hand. Feminized America has been on display in all her undignified inauthenticity, in the crybabies of Congress and in the loud and proud quitting at the 2020 Olympics. In Menstrual America, medals go to congressmen and cops who wail the loudest when recounting their professional failings on Jan. 6, 2021. And props are given not to athletes who “bring it” despite the jitters; but to those who crumble and quit, and then crow about the authenticity of it all. Menstrual America’s rich and famous belong to a fraternity of foolish, showy killjoys. They take...

As illegal aliens pour into this country through an open Southern border, a new mask mandate is coming and they say it's all about science. Minority leader Kevin McCarthy disputed the need for a new mask mandate and Nancy Pelosi called him a moron. https://youtu.be/JWIpto3H5X8"Science, science, science" she said. About that science... WASHINGTON - Director of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Dr. Rochelle Walensky expressed concern over new data that shows that vaccinated and unvaccinated people infected by the delta variant of the novel coronavirus carry viral loads that "are actually quite similar." "We are actively conducting...

President Joe Biden announced a series of new measures Thursday meant to boost vaccination rates in the federal workforce and around the country – as the Delta variant hospitalizes covid patients and threatens the nation's recovery. 'You want to know how we put this virus behind us? I’ll tell you how: We get more people vaccinated,' Biden said in remarks at the White House Thursday. He called for Americans to get their shots, for those who got a first dose to follow up, and for people to follow evolving government mask guidance.

This is the first time I can remember an Olympic Games with so little media conversation around it. With the exception of the Simone Biles incident, people seem less inclined to pay attention. Advertisers are fretting as well that attention has declined and viewership is down. One of the natures of a monopoly is there is very little incentive to provide a great product at a low price. It is a reason government-run entities tend to come in overbudget with a worse product than private sector entities. With no competition, there is no reason to innovate, improve or seek efficiencies....

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) reaffirmed its full support of transgender athletes Friday when medical director Richard Budgett declared “transwomen are women” and should be included in women’s sport “when we possibly can.” “After 100 years of promoting women’s sport, it’s up to each of the international federations to ensure that they try and protect women’s sport,” he told a briefing in Tokyo. “Science will help, experience will help, and time will help.” Budgett spoke as New Zealand weightlifter Laurel Hubbard prepared to become the first openly transgender woman at the Olympics when she competes in the +87kg category on...

Many times, politicians make bold promises and pronouncements for a cheap headline to do something that they never intend to do. Americans hope that Joe Biden’s announcement that the federal government is implementing a ‘Buy American Rule’ with regard to government contracting is real. The Biden Administration, earlier this week, announced a new rule that will incentivize more government contracting using American made products. Congress has the power to make Biden’s promise law – and they should, but will they? Almost every American president makes this same promise, yet it has never become reality. Buying American with American tax dollars...

Even as President Joe Biden has called for additional gun control measures, lawmakers across the country have continued to pass so-called Second Amendment sanctuary laws or resolutions, which oppose and even prohibit or impede the enforcement of certain gun measures by the state or federal government. Proponents of “sanctuary” laws argue that many gun control resolutions are in fact a violation of the rights guaranteed by the Second Amendment of the United States Constitution. Carroll County, Maryland became the first to explicitly use the term “sanctuary” in a resolution in May 2013, but it actually began a few years earlier...

The serial stabbings happened between October 2018 and May 2019 in the English city of Brighton, where the convicted killer would knife the defenseless animals and often drop them outside their owners' doorstep, according to prosecutors.

WASHINGTON, Monday, July 29. Some one, evidently for the purpose of puffing the Sanitary Committee at the expense of the Medical Bureau of the Government, has so far worked upon your humane feelings as to arouse your needless indignation, in an article on Saturday last, against an innocent party. The officers of the Medical Bureau don't furnish ice for the hospitals, and have no power to do so. Ice is furnished from what is called a hospital fund, and every military hospital has such a fund. At every hospital under Government, ice has been given to the patients for the...

—-snip Chloroquine, a relatively safe, effective and cheap drug used for treating many human diseases including malaria, amoebiosis and human immunodeficiency virus is effective in inhibiting the infection and spread of SARS CoV in cell culture. The fact that the drug has significant inhibitory antiviral effect when the susceptible cells were treated either prior to or after infection suggests a possible prophylactic and therapeutic use.

Universities are in dire need of reform. They are too expensive; the classwork is too easy; the curriculum too unfocused. Too many students drop out or don’t care. Indeed, many of today’s universities have strayed so far from their original purpose that creating a path for reform and renewal seems impossible. But a new book by Margarita Mooney begins to explore avenues for reform in one area: refocusing universities on the liberal arts. Mooney is an associate professor in the Department of Practical Theology at Princeton Theological Seminary and founder of the Scala Foundation. Scala calls itself “a movement of...

In an analysis of almost 3 million patients taking a single high blood pressure medication for the first time, angiotensin receptor blockers (ARBs) were as good as angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors at preventing cardiovascular events linked to hypertension, including heart attack, stroke and heart failure. 51 possible side effects and safety concerns were examined: The patients taking ARBs were found to be significantly less likely to develop tissue swelling, cough, pancreas inflammation and bleeding in the digestive tract. While the class of blood pressure-lowering medicines called angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors may be prescribed more commonly, angiotensin receptor blockers (ARBs) work just...

China has warned Britain is 'a bi*ch... asking for a beating' if British warships challenge Beijing's claim to the South China Sea. The HMS Queen Elizabeth and her carrier group arrived in the disputed waters on Thursday and are set to sail through Beijing's backyard alongside eight other vessels in a show of strength to Chinese President Xi Jingping. But Chinese state media has warned any move seen as a challenge to islands which Beijing lays claim to would mean Britain 'is being a bi*ch' and 'asking for a beating'. Editor-in-chief of the state-run Global Times Hu Xijin said China...

The insurance companies handling the bankruptcy of the former Remington Arms Company made a $33 million bid this week to escape a specious lawsuit leveled by families of Sandy Hook victims. Remington’s proposed settlement would provide $3.66 million to relatives of each of the nine victims in the lawsuit, according to Reuters. Even if the families take the offer, any settlement in the case must first be approved by the judge overseeing Remington’s bankruptcy case in Alabama. Big Green has been fighting this lawsuit for years. Families of nine of the victims of the 2012 massacre brought the case shortly...

Biden Mandates All Federal Workers Must Be Vaccinated… Except Postal Workers Earlier in the week Biden suggested that those who are yet to be vaccinated are “sowing enormous confusion.” “We have a pandemic because of the unvaccinated, and they’re sowing enormous confusion,” Biden said.“And there’s only one thing we know for sure, if those other 100 million people got vaccinated, we’d be in a very different world. So get vaccinated. If you haven’t, you’re not nearly as smart as I said you were.”And now he has gone to ’11’ on the ‘your body, no choice’ amplifier, saying tonight that he’ll...

"They called it “Starfish Prime.” On July 9, 1962, the US military exploded a thermonuclear warhead 250 miles above the Pacific Ocean. What happened next surprised everyone. Witnesses from Hawaii to New Zealand reported auroras dancing overhead, magnificent midnight “rainbow stripes” that tropical sky watchers had never seen before. Radios fell silent, then suddenly became noisy. Burglar alarms sounded as local streetlights in Honolulu went black." ...Snip..."Geomagnetic storms are famous for causing power blackouts. snip... EMPs can do it, too. Lurching magnetic fields cause electrical currents to flow through the ground. Literally, rocks beneath your feet begin to tingle with...
