n authoritarian collectivism (socialism), power and paranoia live together like fraternal twins. That's what we're seeing now. In authoritarian collectivism (socialism), power and paranoia live together like fraternal twins. Each one reinforces the other. As the revolutionary party gains strength, its paranoia about the threat from "the enemy" grows. This ruling psychological principle is based on a monstrous and maximalist perversion of Woody Allen's bon mot: "Even paranoiacs have enemies." The 20th century offers familiar examples of the phenomenon: the greater the relative power of the authoritarian regime and the weaker the opposition, the greater is the regime's paranoia about...

We know that our enemies have engaged in cyber-warfare against the United States. They are ethically capable of waging psychological warfare on us as well. A conspiracy theory is a statement of fact, or implication of personal knowledge, of a conspiracy that is simply not credible to rational people. QAnon's assertion that Democrats are murdering children to harvest their adrenal glands to make adrenochrome, a chemical that can be purchased legally without resorting to murder, is an excellent example. The motive is simply not there, and neither is the opportunity, as even one mistake in such a scheme would result...

While I was wandering through Costco the other day as one of the 5% without some ridiculous mouth thong wrapped around my piehole, I began to re-think the French Revolution. But she didn’t demand that the people humiliate and degrade themselves in every aspect of their lives. But our garbage elite does to us, and so many Americans are sheep who eagerly obey. Independence Day has come and gone, this year being not just a reminder of the...

For each thing that exists in time and space, says the ancient Book of Formation, there is a place within the human soul. The seven nations that occupied Canaan exist within the human soul. They are the seven raw emotional modalities that every human being must conquer and transform—such as selfishness, anger, impatience and jealousy. But before entering Canaan, the Israelites first had to battle with Midian. Midian is the place in the human soul where there is no room for another. It is not rational, nor can it be reasoned with. The holy Zohar connects Midian to the word...

While Joe Biden careens around the country eating ice cream and behaving like a kind, but slightly dotty grandpa, it’s worth remembering the cynical way he used his son, Hunter, to generate cash for the family. **SNIP** We know from an e-mail on June 5, 2010, with the subject “JRB bills” to Hunter from Eric Schwerin, his business partner at Rosemont Seneca, that he was expected to foot hefty bills to Wilmington contractors for maintenance and upkeep of his father’s palatial lakefront property. Joe’s initials are JRB, for Joseph Robinette Biden. The bills that June included $2,600 to contractor Earle...

Just ahead of Independence Day, Marvel Comics featured a new Captain America issue in which the Captain slams the American dream as a false promise. The first issue of the new series, “The United States of Captain America,” by writer Christopher Cantwell, was published on June 30, only four days before the country traditionally celebrates its day of independence from Great Britain. As the issue begins, Steve Rogers — the original Cap — grouses about how America is built on “lies.”
