This is not a joke unfortunately. According to documents revealed by Turning Point USA’s Benny Johnson, Iowa’s largest school districts are using CRT (critical race theory) materials which classify the “MAGA” movement as a form of white supremacy, whatever that means. For people who just arrived in our dimension, MAGA stands for Make America Great Again, and critical race theory activists regard the movement as being socially unacceptable. Other examples of White Supremacy, both covert and overt, include American immigration law, i.e. having a border/country, Columbus Day, and mass incarceration, i.e. punishing lawlessness.

Conservative radio host Wayne Allyn Root asked Trump in a June 4 interview, “Why not, instead of waiting for 2024, and I'm hoping you'll run in 2024, but why not run in 2022 for the United States Congress? A House seat in Florida. Win big. Lead us to a dramatic landslide victory taking the House by 50 seats, and then you become the speaker of the House, lead the impeachment of Biden, and start criminal investigations against Biden. You’ll wipe him out for his last two years, and then, you’ll be president.” Conservative radio host Wayne Allyn Root asked Trump...

The Randolph Board of Education did an about-face Monday evening on its decision to remove holiday names from the school calendar following tremendous backlash from the public. Following the board’s action, all holidays will be listed by name on the school calendar, including Columbus Day. At its May meeting, the board voted to refer to Columbus Day as Indigenous Peoples’ Day. Then on June 10 — over loud objections — the board voted to label holidays generically on its one-page calendar. Holidays including Christmas and Veterans Day were just listed as a “Day Off,” with no mention of the holiday...

Explanation: How are jets created during star formation? No one is sure, although recent images of the young star system HD 163296 are quite illuminating. The central star in the featured image is still forming but seen already surrounded by a rotating disk and an outward moving jet. The disk is shown in radio waves taken by the Atacama Large Millimeter Array (ALMA) in Chile, and show gaps likely created by the gravity of very-young planets. The jet, shown in visible light taken by the Very Large Telescope (VLT, also in Chile), expels fast-moving gas -- mostly hydrogen -- from...

The Pennsylvania House of Representatives could vote as early as Wednesday on a bill that would outlaw strict COVID-19 vaccination requirements at all state or local government and higher education facilities. The bill barring so-called “vaccine passports” appeals to those who want to bury all vestiges of the now-defunct coronavirus pandemic restrictions in Pennsylvania. But it faces an almost certain veto if and when it hits Gov. Tom Wolf’s desk. Sponsored by Sen. Kristin Phillips-Hill, R-York County, Senate Bill 618 originated as a bill that would bar any governmental entities or colleges and universities that receive “regular state appropriations” from...

Former Pope Benedict XVI warned in a 2004 memo that high profile politicians who persist in their public support for abortion should be denied Communion. Benedict wrote the memo when he was known as Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger and when former presidential candidate John Kerry, a pro-abortion Catholic, was running for president. Ratzinger warned that “not all moral issues have the same moral weight as abortion and euthanasia” and said that though Catholics may have diversity of opinion on some topics, there is no “legitimate diversity of opinion” when it comes to abortion and euthanasia. Ratzinger’s comments are particularly relevant now...

DETROIT — When it was new, the window sticker price on a typical 2019 Toyota Tacoma SR double cab pickup was just under $29,000. Two years later, dealers are paying almost $1,000 more than that to buy the same vehicle, even though it’s used. Then they’re selling it to consumers for more than $33,000. Welcome to the wacky world of U.S. car and truck sales, where the pandemic and a global shortage of computer chips have pushed prices to record levels. In the past year, used vehicle prices on average have climbed 30%, according to Black Book, which tracks car...
