For how "devout" President Joe Biden supposedly is in his Catholic faith, there's another area where he could do better in living up to it. In this case it's his lack of action on preventing the death penalty from being carried out. Unlike his pro-abortion stance, though, Biden is angering members of his own party. Robert Dunham, the executive director of the Death Penalty Information Center, spoke to the Washington Examiner, saying that Biden's failure to act on the death penalty is "frustrating" to liberal Democrats. Such inaction on the death penalty is not merely hypothetical. As Spencer reported, Biden's...

Hundreds of people arrested for looting and rioting across the Big Apple last year in the wake of George Floyd’s police-involved death have had their charges dropped, according to an analysis of NYPD data — figures ripped as “disgusting” by local business owners. In the Bronx — which saw fires in the street and mass looting last June — more than 60 percent have had charges dropped, according to the investigation by NBC New York. Along with 73 out of the 118 arrested getting charges completely dropped, another 19 were convicted on lesser counts like trespassing, which carries no jail...

Whether you knew it or not, if you got your COVID vaccine in California, your medical record of it went to the state of California, which keeps a database on it. According to KCRA News: California officials on Friday announced a way for residents to access their COVID-19 vaccine records digitally. The records, which can be used to gain access to businesses or events that require proof of full vaccination, can be found by going to myvaccinerecord.cdph.ca.gov. Fitzpatrick said, “I will tell you, being a lifelong FBI agent, I will tell you starting in New York, ending in LA and serving across the globe when I got sworn into Congress in 2017, I’ve been very, very taken back and dismayed at the disrespect that law enforcement is being given across the board, both on the left and the right, quite frankly. On the left with local police and on right with the FBI in fact, just this week, the FBI got attacked twice, once from my Democratic colleagues on the intel committee on which I sit and...

The head of the police union in Portland shot back against new criticism from City Commissioner Jo Ann Hardesty - who has spearheaded the local defund police movement - over the recent resignation of all 50 members of the police riot squad, arguing her self-serving agenda endorses violence, “instead of defending our communities and the business owners whose livelihoods were destroyed by the riots.” Portland Police Association Executive Director Daryl Turner argued in a statement issued Friday that “roving gangs of black-clad rioters do not speak for the hundreds of thousands of residents and business owners of Portland who want...

Bread doesn’t get any faster, easier or simpler than this. There are no special ingredients or equipment needed. Just a few minutes in a skillet on the stove and you can have fresh hot bread for sandwiches or to serve with dinner any time of the day without heating the house up with the oven. My Granny would usually make this for lunch if all the breakfast biscuits got gobbled up in the morning. In the days before we all lived air conditioned housed, we didn’t turn the oven on in the middle of the day during Summer. This skillet...

Many excellent Bible prophecy teachers believe there will be a convergence of the signs (all of them coming on the scene) at the end of the age. Here are some reasons to believe that is happening now. One, concerning the Battle of Gog and Magog: on June 7, 2021, U.S. Sec. of State Blinken said if Iran continues to violate its nuclear agreement, Iran could have enough enriched uranium for a nuclear weapon in a matter of weeks. If Israel follows through on its threat to prevent this, Israel could be forced to act very soon. (Note: On June 14,...

Earlier this month, they and a group of friends spent nearly a week stringing a single, 2,800-foot (853-meter)-long line from Taft Point west across a series of gulleys that plunge 1,600 feet (488 meters). Moises and Daniel Monterrubio, brothers who are training to be rope-access technicians, had been thinking about crossing that void for a year. Highlining is high-altitude slacklining, in which a narrow strip of strong, nylon webbing — usually an inch wide and a few millimeters thick — is strung between two anchor points and serves as a kind of balance beam. Completing a line means carefully heel-toeing...

Out of ControlAmerican workers are trying to make their way in an economy that’s rigged against them. We made this claim many years ago. Today, for fun and for free, we revisit this assertion…starting with the latest from those doing the rigging. This week, after a two day meeting, the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) released their statement. Nothing material changed. The Fed will continue to hold the federal funds rate near zero. The Fed will also continue to create at least $120 billion per month from thin air to buy Treasuries and mortgage-backed securities. Bond yields spiked and the...

Here is the full statement by current CDC Senior Scientist on Vaccine-Autism questions: Dr. William Thompson. update on the story, soon. I regret that my [CDC] coauthors and I omitted statistically significant information in our 2004 article published in the Journal of Pediatrics. My primary job duties while working in the immunization safety branch from 2000 to 2006 were to lead or colead three major vaccine safety studies. The MADDSP MMR-Autism Cases Control Study was being carried out in response to the Wakefield Lancet study that suggested an association between the MMR vaccine and an autism-like health outcome. There were...

In the race for the 2022 GOP nomination to be the attorney general of Texas, the incumbent is being investigated by the state bar association — and it may not hurt him. His main opponent is the grandson of one president who called Texas home and the nephew of another — and it may not help him. The incumbent attorney general is Ken Paxton, and his challenger is Texas Land Commissioner George P. Bush (son of Jeb, nephew of George W, grandson of H.W.). Republican strategist Jeff Roe calls the looming showdown between the two "the Holy War of Texas."...

As reported earlier this week, back in January Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger told “60 Minutes” the state of Georgia, “Had safe, secure, and honest elections.”Of course, NOTHING could be further of the truth. The Gateway Pundit wrote several reports on the likely fraud and corruption in the November 2020 Georgia election. In May, Georgia Judge Brian Amero asked to unseal more than 145,000 Fulton County absentee ballots for an election audit. This was after a Gateway Pundit report exposed Georgia election officials repeatedly feeding thousands of ballots through the voting machines late at night in Atlanta, Georgia after the election observers...

The Pennsylvania state senator in charge of a key election committee is backing an audit of the November presidential contest similar to Arizona’s partisan ballot review, four days after former President Donald Trump called him out and claimed he was dragging his feet. Despite two audits and assurances from every level of government that the election was free of widespread fraud, Sen. David Argall (R., Schuylkill) told Spotlight PA he does not see the “damage in doing it one more time to try to answer the concerns that people have.” But such an effort, particularly if advanced by just one...

As America gears up to celebrate Independence Day and a return to normalcy with most U.S. adults fully vaccinated, annual holiday light shows may be looking a little dim this year as a result of nationwide shortages in the post-pandemic. Youngstown, Ohio-based Phantom Fireworks, the country’s largest consumer-based retail fireworks company, is urging consumers to buy their fireworks sooner rather than later amid supply chain issues and global shipment delays, the company announced on its website.
