The United States will allocate another $150 million to Ukraine to help the country bolster its borders against Russia, the Pentagon announced Friday. A Florida man is accused of dragging the body of a pedestrian he allegedly struck with his car on Sunday before fleeing the scene and dumping most of the remains behind a local bait shop, according to authorities. Joseph Charles Strickland, 28, of Weeki Wachee, was traveling on a road north of Tampa early Sunday when his car struck the unidentified pedestrian, 32, who was walking along the roadway, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. OTTUMWA, Iowa — An Ottumwa woman is out on bond after police said she threatened to blow up the Wapello County Attorney's Office. Court documents state 30-year-old Siearre Smith made the threat on May 25 and was arrested Wednesday. She reportedly entered the lobby and started yelling at employees. Smith is quoted as saying "this place needs blown up and that's exactly what I'm going to do." She was charged with threat of incendiary or explosive device, a class D felony.
