This is so cool! It's an old video, but this is the first time I have heard of this device.
Now they need one for humans! Tazers dont work on the fentenal nut bags. Need something that would tie them up like barbwire.
I guess it would work if you get them to an area where you have them slowed down. That is the same with the pit maneuver But... when you get into chases at high speed (over 80 or 100+) You DO NOT want to get that close! You have to allow yourself a cushion to react to what they might do. It takes time for you to see, recognize, identify and decide. That means distance. Personally... I would prefer our old ways of radioing ahead and having other LEOS put out spikes ahead of them. Maybe I’m just an old dog that doesn’t like learning new tricks.
