I never thought it would happen to me! April 16th, Kiteboarding at Desoto Beach Florida, I fell and when I stood up Bam!! Stingray Barb right in the bottom of my foot!! Long story short, I got 2 X-rays on my foot to check for pieces of the Barb, a little saline flush syringe, and the...

In the 1950s the German rocket pioneer Wernher von Braun wrote a book about a first manned voyage to Mars and, in an amazing coincidence, named the leader of the expedition “Elon”. Destiny appears to be close to fulfilling his 1952 prediction 69 years later as billionaire SpaceX boss Elon Musk gets ever closer to his dream of establishing the first human colony on the Red Planet. Wernher von Braun had a lifelong passion for space travel and was recruited by the Nazis in the early 1930s to lead their rocket weaponry program. He was instrumental in the develop of...

President Joe Biden’s administration on Friday rescinded a Trump-era plan to collect facial scans and DNA from immigrants when they apply to enter the United States. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) said it has “withdrawn a proposed rule that would have expanded department authorities and requirements for collecting biometrics by removing age restrictions; requiring submission of biometrics for every applicant, petitioner, sponsor, beneficiary, or other individual filing for or associated with any immigration or naturalization benefit or request unless DHS waives or exempts the biometrics requirement.”

People who lost their jobs in the pandemic are now earning more in benefits than they did in wages, creating a nightmare economic situation that is stopping people from returning to work and in turn, driving up inflation. In March 2019, the average weekly payment to an unemployed person was $348 when combining federal and state unemployment payments. That nearly tripled to $938 in April 2020, when Trump passed COBRA - a temporary economic plan that boosted weekly unemployment payments by $600 and also gave employed people one-off stimulus checks. COBRA expired in July and the unemployment boost was halved...

The National Border Patrol Council (NBPC) endorsed Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-N.Y.) to replace Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) for the position of GOP conference chair if she leaves the post next week. “As President Biden’s policies continue to create the worst surge in illegal immigration in our history, it is more important than ever for our leaders to share a unified message in Congress on the importance of border security,” Brandon Judd, the president of the NBPC, told Breitbart.

BEDFORD — The district attorney in Bedford County has brought dozens of charges against a man for firing a 12-gauge shotgun at civil rights marchers last August, striking one in the face and endangering 19 others. The announcement from Lesley Childers-Potts came just days after Spotlight PA and The Tribune-Democrat learned the prosecutor had been given the results of a State Police investigation into the shooting in early March — and just one day after the news organizations asked why she hadn’t acted on it. Terry Myers, 51 of Schellsburg, was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a...

‘What’s on course to hit the U.S. starting this weekend looks BIG,” says electroverse.net. “It looks unprecedented.” According to the latest GFS models (above) from May 6 through May 8, periodic pockets of out-of-season cold will bring temperature departures crashing down to some 8C to 16C below the seasonal average. But it’s on Sunday, May 9 that the real problems are forecast to begin…. … From Montana to Virginia, temperatures are scheduled to plunge as much as 20C below the seasonal norm. Then, from May 10 to May 12 (image below), a rare mid-spring freeze sinks south to engulf Texas,...

Economists expected the country to add 1 million jobs in April. It added just 266,000 — a sign that Bidenomics is kicking in and already becoming a dangerous drag on the economy. [cut] The US future inflation gauge is at a three-decade high, and consumers are already seeing higher prices in everything from baby products to groceries to cars. That’s what happens when you throw money into the economy willy-nilly, as Biden has done (and plans to do much more). The M2, a key measure of the money supply, is up by 25 percent over last year. Biden’s clueless reaction...

A married couple with a long history of service to their South Side community were the victims of a horrific attack over the weekend. Now friends are rallying to support the couple many say would “give you the shirts off their backs.” Even in this violent city, what happened to Timothy and Renee Johnson is inconceivable. “It’s like a page out of a horror movie,” said their daughter, Destinee Johnson. Their three adult children, who live in different parts of the country, rushed to their sides. “No one wants this to happen to any person at all, let alone your...

Tesla has relied on selling emissions credits to boost its revenue, and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) has been one of its biggest clients. But now that FCA has merged with the PSA Group to form Stellantis, it won't need Tesla emissions credits anymore, the Financial Times (subscription required) reported this week, based on executive comments.Automakers are allowed to purchase credits to make up for not meeting emissions targets. Because it sells only electric cars, Tesla has always had plenty of credits to sell, creating a major revenue stream for the automaker. Stellantis' decision to stop buying emissions credits from Tesla...
