A new study from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis has identified a gene – called SVEP1 – that makes a protein that influences the risk of coronary artery disease independent of cholesterol. SVEP1 induces proliferation of vascular smooth muscle cells in the development of atherosclerosis. Shown is a stained section of atherosclerotic plaque from a mouse aorta, the largest artery in the body. Vascular smooth muscle cells are red; proliferating cells are cyan; nuclei of any cell are blue. Under Joe Biden’s current leadership, it’s becoming apparent how the administration is failing to deliver what they promised, namely a so-called “better America” than that of President Trump. A recent Yahoo News report found 10 areas where the Biden administration has done far more harm than good. The report explained how the United States Postal Service’s (USPS) law enforcement arm known as the Internet Covert Program (ICOP) proves Biden’s America is invading the rights of citizens nationwide. The surveillance effort involves analysts combing through social media sites looking for posts deemed as threatening, which are then sent to other government...

Business is booming at a Cincinnati area bar refusing to show NBA games until the league expels Lebron James for his anti-police rhetoric. Cancel culture isn’t canceling this law enforcement supportive establishment!

The scientists I talked to don’t want to be quoted by name for fear of repercussions in today’s politically-charged environment. They're highly critical that a U.S. research collaboration was allowed with China— a communist nation that has an active bioweapons program and, is arguably, our biggest world competitor and foe. Scientists from the U.S. and the Wuhan lab joined up on experiments that involved making bat coronavirus more infectious, to try to invent a vaccine. It’s called “gain of function” research, and it’s controversial because it could create a lethal virus that escapes and causes a pandemic. So risky, the...

resident Biden is returning to the Barack Obama playbook of “reforming” municipal police departments by forcing multi-year federal court “consent decrees” down their throats -- a strategy that makes it extremely difficult for those departments to hire and retain good officers, or to administer their agencies in accord with the needs of the communities they serve. Of course, as with everything being undertaken by this Administration, it is all about race and politics, not good policing. Police departments in Minneapolis and Louisville are but the latest recipients of this federal intervention. It is noteworthy, though not often noted, that both...

HARRISBURG — A group of Pennsylvania Democrats is asking a state court to make preparations to take over congressional map-making duties, betting the divided government in Harrisburg won’t come to an agreement in time for the 2022 elections. The lawsuit, filed Monday by 16 Democratic voters represented by an arm of the National Democratic Redistricting Committee, asks the Commonwealth Court to prevent the state’s current congressional map from being used in the 2022 elections and to put in place a schedule the judges must follow if they have to step in. The legal challenge comes just one day after the...

(This is an important article) Journalist Lee Smith hits the sweet spot in his discussion of the U.S. Postal Service conducting surveillance on Americans. As Smith notes the targeting is not to identify the political ideology of “all Americans”, rather the objective is surveillance of people who likely did not vote for Joe Biden. Again it is important to repeat, this type of activity is one long continuum. The IRS was previously used; federal contractors for the FBI have previously been used; allied Big Tech companies have been used; and now the United States Postal Service is running a covert...

Editor's Note: This piece was co-authored by Congresswoman Lisa McClain.David Frum’s article entitled “The Worst Outcome” for The Atlantic (March 11, 2020 article) stated “if somebody other than Donald Trump were in the White House, the Coronavirus Crisis would not be unfolding this way … Trump’s actions have ensured the worst possible outcomes. The worst possible outcome for public health, the worst possible outcome for the American economy, the worst possible outcome for American global leadership.” The media in general, and the Democratic Party highly supported Frum’s view giving it inertia throughout 2020 while creating a view of gross incompetence...

That will be lifted entirely for outdoor dining areas beginning May 17 and for indoor dining areas beginning May 31.

You can’t make this stuff up. Don’t you always wonder how these judges get picked for cases around the country? For example, how was it that an Obama Judge was picked to review Trump Election cases in Arizona, Pennsylvania and Michigan? Note there were enough electoral college votes in these three states to give President Trump his election win.

CNN clearly views Kelly Tshibaka as a legitimate threat to take down Sen. Lisa Murkowski in her bid for reelection in 2022. On April 27, the left-leaning cable network published a hit piece with the goal of painting Tshibaka’s Christian faith and conservative values as out of step with mainstream America. Earlier this month, Tshibaka stepped down as Alaska’s Commissioner of Administration in order to launch a campaign for Murkowski’s U.S. Senate seat. She has come out of the gate as a pro-life, pro-America-first, pro-Second Amendment and pro-liberty conservative. In essence, she has framed herself as the antithesis to Murkowski,...

Many Americans, including Christians, are still unaware of the immediate dangers facing religious freedoms and biblical values from the federal Equality Act of 2021 (H.R. 5). In a nation where all individuals “are created equal” as stated in the Declaration of Independence and where we believe in “equal protection under the law” as stated in the 14th Amendment of the Constitution, what is wrong with the Equality Act of 2021? The answer is that this proposed law uses the word “equality” while proposing just the opposite: inequality. The Equality Act – or more appropriately, the Inequality Act – would impose...

Monday, April 19, 2021 2:06 AM UTC National Police Association’s Steve Pomper has written a new non-fiction work that exposes an underlying scheme to vilify law enforcement by former President Barack Obama’s Foundation. Pomper’s book, The Obama Gang, explains how the former president meticulously laid the groundwork for the nationwide anti-police movement seen through social movements like Black Lives Matter and Defund the Police. The book works to show how all of these seemingly spontaneous national gestures were indeed executed by the Obama Foundation’s web of allies. The following are a series of questions Steve Pomper, author of The Obama...

Last week, ex-police officer Derek Chauvin was convicted of second-degree murder, third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter. The evidence on the murder charges was weak; the evidence on manslaughter was significantly stronger. Still, the jury took only 10 hours and zero questions to come to its conclusion: guilty on all counts. In and of itself, the Chauvin case never should have been a national news story. After all, an average of three suspects are shot by police every day in the United States, and thousands of homicides that have nothing whatsoever to do with the police take place in the United...

(Washington, DC) Judicial Watch announced today that it received 540 pages and a supplemental four pages of documents from the office of the Secretary of State of California revealing how state officials pressured social media companies (Twitter, Facebook, Google (YouTube)) to censor posts about the 2020 election. Included in these documents were “misinformation briefings” emails that were compiled by communications firm SKDK, that lists Biden for President as their top client of 2020. The documents show how the state agency successfully pressured YouTube to censor a Judicial Watch video concerning the vote by mail and a Judicial Watch lawsuit settlement...

The FBI continued abusing the secretive Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act program, including searching for information on people who had gone to the bureau to report they were victims of a crime, a newly declassified document shows. The Epoch Times One FBI information specialist between April 11, 2019, and July 8, 2019, conducted approximately 124 queries of information obtained through secretive methods under the act, or FISA, which permits warrantless surveillance of foreigners outside of the United States. The surveillance can and has been used to ultimately obtain information on Americans. The searches included looking at information for people who had...

If I may be frank, Joe Biden represents the worst attributes of progressive democrat ideology. The first is that of a corrupt beneficence that assumes we know better and what is best for all, for we are smarter than you and because we refuse to accept that you can think for yourself. Although condescending, the liberal class consider this hybrid political and philosophical comportment as an act of charity and equally a moral obligation. The second is inherent in their policies, which are buttressed on operating on the side of extreme ridiculousness, in many cases even if it requires the...
