President Ronald Reagan used to refer to our country as "these United States," not "the United States." That may seem to be an inconsequential grammatical difference, but a whole different philosophy of our system of government is embedded in that phraseology. Reagan reinforced the traditional notion of American federalism: that the states created the federal government, not the other way around. The states are to serve as "laboratories of democracy." Our Founding Fathers' ingeniousness was recognizing that healthy competition among the states was the best way to devise policy solutions. This brings us to President Joe Biden. No president in...

60 Minutes provided a prime example of the utter corruption of our nation’s media establishment on Sunday with a smear of Ron DeSantis. – In the story, 60 Minutes fake reporter Sharon Alfonsi accused the Florida Governor of engaging in a “pay for play” scheme in which the Publix chain of pharmacy/grocery stores was awarded a contract to become a distributor of the various COVID vaccines in exchange for a $100,000 contribution to the DeSantis gubernatorial campaign in 2018. 60 Minutes made no effort to explain how, in 2018 when the contribution was made, anyone at Publix could have known...

Look for the Little Menace to Society, Anthony Fauci, to be whining about ‘Super-spreaders in Texas’ today…. – The Texas Rangers almost sold out their stadium on Monday – more than 38,000 fans were reportedly on-hand in a 40,000 seat stadium to see the terrible team the cheapskate owners are fielding this year lose badly to the Kansas City Royals. Despite an edict from the team that fans must wear masks unless eating or drinking the highly over-priced food, almost none were wearing masks and none of the stadium ushers or security personnel could be seen saying a word to...

When I see people walking outside, often alone with no one anywhere near them, wearing a mask, my primary reactions are disappointment and sadness. I am disappointed because I expected better from my fellow Americans. I never thought most Americans would be governed by irrational fears and unquestioning obedience to authority. I have come to realize that I had a somewhat romanticized view of my countrymen. Had you told me a year ago that nearly every American in nearly every metropolitan area would cover their faces for over a year because one man, one political party and the media told...

Russia is once more conducting military exercises near its border with eastern Ukraine and the Ukrainian territory it has occupied since 2014. This time the “training exercises” are more threatening because they involve the equivalent of six combat brigades, accompanied by additional artillery (gun and rocket) units moving to the border as well as a buildup of combat aircraft and warships in the Crimean Peninsula, the one Ukrainian province Russia was able take in 2014 and annex. Russia then sought to take two provinces in eastern Ukraine, which comprise the economically important Donbas (Don River Basin) region. Surprisingly, for the...

Everybody knows facts don’t matter then you’re trying to make a point. For example, that Georgia’s new voter integrity law is racist, not simply intended to prevent illegal voting from hijacking another election. I dare you to find an unbiased article (that doesn’t require whitelisting to read) regarding the Georgia law online through a standard search engine request. It will not be easy because presenting unvarnished facts has a tendency to undermine the official narrative – which is always the same. And in our newly WOKE culture you can count on all the usual suspects** heeling on command. The MLB...

The Internet was supposed to bring with it a renaissance, a new enlightenment and a brighter future. It was to be a time when people became smarter, having access to the collective knowledge of humanity at their fingertips, and with the invention of the smart phone, in their pocket, always. What could go wrong? A lot, it turns out. Actually, just about everything. The promise was not kept. All we ended up with was a bunch of narcissists desperate to share pictures of the food they're eating and demanding validation for their existence from everyone else. Scroll through social media...

International Journal of Hydrogen Energy Available online 26 March 2021 Production of ultra-dense hydrogen H(0): A novel nuclear fuel https://doi.org/10.1016/j.ijhydene.2021.02.221 Highlights • The use of hydrogen nuclear fuel is tabulated for several types of fusion reactors. • The steps in the formation of ultra-dense hydrogen H(0) at surfaces are described. • The main function of the catalyst is to give enough density of bound alkali atoms. • High density of alkali atoms is required so that alkali RM clusters can be formed. • The use of catalysts forming H(0) in chemical industry is investigated. Abstract Condensation of hydrogen Rydberg atoms...

.....on “CBS This Morning," promoting his book, Hunter was asked why he had the pistol:..... “my life was difficult. Hallie had thrown it into a trash can. And I told her you can’t do that. And so she went back....and then the police, came to help...... someone had picked it out of the trash and they found it within hours. And so that was the end of the story,” he said. He was asked if the Secret Service got involved. “I have no idea. I don’t know whether the Secret Service were, or why they would be. I don’t think...

It is unclear why the US saw these groups as assets, considering that not long ago, they were cheering 9/11 and supporting genocidal terrorism. In a bizarre twist of the remnants of the Syrian civil war, it was revealed in a recent PBS interview that the former US envoy on Syria saw an extremist group as an “asset” in the war-torn county. How this was revealed is a circuitous route that ended with an interview by PBS Frontline correspondent Martin Smith in Syria's Idlib province. Smith spoke with Mohammad al-Jolani, a terrorist and senior extremist Islamist leader whose group Hayat...

Among all Democratic lawmakers, AOC was ranked 230th out of 240 Congressional Democrats in terms of effectiveness. Ocasio- Cortez, popularly known as AOC , introduced a total of 21 “substantive” bills that did not receive substantial backing from other lawmakers, including committee and floor votes, according to the study, a project of Vanderbilt University and the University of Virginia. “She introduced a lot of bills, but she was not successful at having them receive any sort of action in committee or beyond committee, and if they can’t get through committee, they cannot pass the House,” Alan Wiseman, a Vanderbilt political...

Gun ownership among black Americans is up nearly 60 percent following the record gun sales of 2020. The Guardian reports, “gun ownership among Black Americans is up 58.2 percent.” The paper cites National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF) figures showing “Americans bought a record number of firearms last year,” including an “estimated 5 million people [who] bought their first ever gun between March and August.” Black Americans witnessed the greatest increase among all first-time gun buyers. Gun rights groups like the National African American Gun Association have subsequently seen giant leaps in membership. Anubis Heru owns the 1770 Armory and Gun...

PORTLAND, Ore. - An Indiana man who met with Governor Eric Holcomb about police reform is facing the most serious charges yet related to last summer’s violent protests in Portland. Malik Muhammad, 24, is charged with two counts of attempted aggravated murder and other crimes, according to court records. Records indicate Muhammad was booked into the Marion County Jail in Indianapolis on Friday, KGW reported. He is awaiting extradition to Oregon, where he will face felony charges. Several agencies, including the Portland Police Bureau, Indianapolis Metropolitan Police and the FBI were involved in the months-long investigation. According to a law...

Each Easter, I post this “chronological account” of the resurrection appearances, tough I tweak it as others offer insights I might have missed. It is helpful to try and weave the many strands together for the reasons I state below. When we encounter the resurrection accounts in the New Testament, we face a challenge in putting all the pieces together in such a way that the sequence of events flows in logical order. This is due to the fact that no one Gospel presents all or even most of the information. Some of the accounts seem to conflict. I have...

Justice Clarence Thomas suggested on Monday that Congress should consider whether laws should be updated to better regulate social media platforms that, he said, have come to have "unbridled control" over "unprecedented" amounts of speech. The provocative and controversial opinion comes as Twitter banned former President Donald Trump from its platform for violating its rules on incitement of violence and some conservatives have called on more regulations in the tech world to combat what they view as political bias on social media. "If part of the problem is private, concentrated control over online content and platforms available to the public,...
