Here it is Throwback Thursday already; and time to look back over our shoulder and remember our own dear Claire Garcia who brightened our days for many, many years with her wit, humor and general good cheer. We were all saddened to learn of Claire’s passing earlier this week.So today we celebrate her life, which she shared with her DH, also a musician, and her daughters and grands. We didn’t know that Claire had once had a singing career until 2016 when she casually mentioned that there was a concert in San Antonio at which she and her group, the...

The kids are back in the cages, but the Democrat toadies in our news media refuse to call them that now that a Democrat is in office. – One of the Trump policies that China Joe immediately reversed upon being installed in office was an immigration policy that allowed for the rapid deportation of children who had illegally crossed the border in the company of adults who are not their parents. This was a humanitarian policy that quickly reunited most of these kids with their parents rather than having them spend months in border facilities as their cases were being...

Yesterday I was at a closeout store and I saw the Battle for the White House chess set, so I bought it. The King (for the Democrat) is a Dominion voting Machine and the Queen is a journalist with a hat reading CNN. The rule book that came with it said if you are the blue, the Democrats, you can cheat, but if you are red, you can't cheat or say the blue is cheating!!! 😃

IMAGE DATA: NASA/JPL-CALTECH/SWRI/MSSS, IMAGE PROCESSING BY TANYA OLEKSUIK Photos from the Perseverance rover, which landed on Mars last week, are getting all the attention. However, there are still plenty of other rovers and spacecraft working beyond the boundary of Earth's atmosphere. Juno is coming up on the fifth anniversary of its arrival at Jupiter, and it's still sending back stunning images. (You know, in addition to all the science it's facilitating.) NASA recently shared another image of Jupiter, beautifully displaying the planet's jet streams. This one was color enhanced by citizen scientist Tanya Oleksuik using data from the JunoCam camera....

Each year, Black History Month allows us to reflect on so many great Black Americans who’ve contributed to the success of our nation. We reflect on the contributions of many well-known and not so well-known Black Americans. As we come to the end of another Black History Month, it's critical that we draw more attention to one group that has not gotten nearly enough attention – the Black inventor.Thousands of African American inventors have transformed America. Black inventors have created groundbreaking products for centuries ranging from Lewis Lattimer, who helped construct a commercially viable lightbulb, to Marshall Jones, who pioneered...

Boston University’s law school announced the establishment of an endowed chair in critical race theory and antiracism, the first in the country. The university has named Angela Onwuachi-Willig, the law school dean and “an expert in critical race theory,” as the first Ryan Roth Gallo and Ernest J. Gallo Professor, the College Fix reported this week. Ryan Roth Gallo, vice chair of BU’s Board of Trustees, and her husband, Ernest J. Gallo, endowed the position with a $3 million gift, wrote Alene Bouranova for Bostonia, the university’s alumni magazine, adding that the professorship “lines up with the School of Law’s...

Why Israel should be responsible for inoculating Palestinians is not at all clear. The New York Times is an amazing paper. Take the report titled "Israel Gives Vaccine to Far-Off Allies, as Palestinians Wait." The gist of it is this: Israel has a small surplus of COVID vaccine doses, and as a token of friendship, will sent them "to nations like the Czech Republic and Honduras that pledged to move diplomats to Jerusalem" rather than to Palestinians to whom they gave so far, as a humanitarian gesture, "2,000 doses and promised 3,000 more" -- "token figures, given the size of...

Pray For the Peace of JerusalemLambs, Sheep, and Shepherds.Ezekiel 34:1212 As a shepherd looks after his scattered flock when he is with them, so will I look after my sheep. Editor's note: This column was co-authored by Josh Archambault. It is perhaps the most well-known blunder in American health care politics in the 21st century: “If you like the plan you have, you can keep it.” Yet, just a few years after President Obama uttered those infamous words, millions of Americans found themselves forced off the very health plans they were assured that they could keep.President Biden repeated the same claim on the campaign trail, promising voters, “If you like your plan, you can keep it.” But already, it seems like he’s gearing up to repeat Obama’s mistake by breaking the...

WASHINGTON - The lawyers working to reunite immigrant parents and children separated by the Trump administration reported Wednesday that they have found the parents of 105 children in the past month. The lawyers said the parents of about 322 of the 506 children are believed to have been deported, making it more difficult to find them. The lawyers are not required by the judge to say how many of the parents and children have been reunited. One reason it has been so hard to find parents is that many agreed to be deported without their children to allow their children...

Its just the flu, bro. Liberties at risk: 1.Right to refuse medicine (a vaccine) 2.Right to not wear protective clothing (a mask) 3.Right to free movement 4.Right to not supply medical records to third parties (vaccine passport or immunity documentation) 5.Right of a parent to decide was is medically best for their children 6.Right of a business to decide who is allowed to be its customer (masks upon entry) 7.Freedom of association (can’t be within 6 feet of someone else) Additionally, any society who willingly relinquishes fundamental rights unwittingly also demonstrates to tyrants that they are willing to give up...

DENVER (CBS4) — One of three men who barged into a south Denver home Saturday night and ordered people to the ground in an attempted robbery later walked into urgent care with gunshot wounds as his colleagues sped away. That man, Ragal Adan, 19, is recovering at Denver Health Medical Center, according to the Denver Police Department. He suffered an injury to his abdomen after exchanging gunfire with one of the occupants of the house.. Adan’s partners in crime are still at large. And he’s not telling detectives who they are, DPD stated in a press release Monday. Officers were...

One of the most chilling examples in modern times of the accelerating full-spectrum assault on free speech and the First Amendment took place yesterday. One of the most chilling examples in modern times of the accelerating full-spectrum assault on free speech and the First Amendment took place yesterday on Capitol Hill, courtesy of a subcommittee of the Democrat-controlled House Committee on Energy and Commerce. For over three hours on Wednesday afternoon, the subcommittee held a virtual hearing titled Fanning the Flames: Disinformation and Extremism in the Media. The target was conservative media in general and Fox News in particular. Conservatives...

You may have noticed something odd about the Sunday Times Bestseller list lately. Next to James Patterson, Barack Obama and other luminaries appears my book, entitled Why Men Love Bitches: From Doormat to Dreamgirl — A Woman's Guide to Holding Her Own in a Relationship. It appears that my book has gone viral among a new generation of young women, who are sharing their feelings about it on the social media video app TikTok — and sending it shooting up the charts. So why has it struck a chord with Gen-Z women?

Last week, I testified before the House Committee on the Judiciary's Subcommittee on the Constitution, Civil Rights, and Civil Liberties regarding H.R. 40: Examining the Path to Reparative Justice in America. In other words, reparations. This is the first part of the statement I submitted: "Reparations is the extraction of money from people who were never slave owners to be given to people who were never slaves." It is also interesting that we are having this hearing at a time when racism as a barrier to success has never been so insignificant. In 1991, Black Democrat and Harvard sociologist Orlando...

Americans are being subjected to a mass experiment that may be intended to do more than just fight a virus. Our vaccine is experimental, and we, the people, are being herded into a mass drug trial such as the FDA has never before attempted. That is the unembellished truth. Nobody in authority wants to mention this truth. Instead, there’s a long trail of rah-rah news propaganda, about fabulous new stadium-parking-lot vaccine sites (because, what else would a parking lot at a stadium be used for these days?), numbers of doses available, and reports about the elderly in nursing homes doing...

NEW YORK - February is usually the peak of flu season, with doctors’ offices and hospitals packed with suffering patients. But not this year. Flu has virtually disappeared from the U.S., with reports coming in at far lower levels than anything seen in decades. Experts say that measures put in place to fend off the coronavirus — mask wearing, social distancing and virtual schooling — were a big factor in preventing a “twindemic” of flu and COVID-19. A push to get more people vaccinated against flu probably helped, too, as did fewer people traveling, they say. Another possible explanation: The...

A group of about three dozen Democrats in the House have signed a letter calling for President Joe Biden to give up his sole authority to authorize the launch of nuclear weapons, which was obtained by Politico. "Vesting one person with this authority entails real risks," reads the letter, which was spearheaded by Rep. Jimmy Panetta, D-Calif., according to Politico. "Past presidents have threatened to attack other countries with nuclear weapons or exhibited behavior that caused other officials to express concern about the president’s judgment." The letter continues, “While any president would presumably consult with advisors before ordering a nuclear...
