WASHINGTON - The lawyers working to reunite immigrant parents and children separated by the Trump administration reported Wednesday that they have found the parents of 105 children in the past month.
The lawyers said the parents of about 322 of the 506 children are believed to have been deported, making it more difficult to find them. The lawyers are not required by the judge to say how many of the parents and children have been reunited.
One reason it has been so hard to find parents is that many agreed to be deported without their children to allow their children to remain in the U.S. to claim asylum, their lawyers say.
A lawyer representing the separated families in the lawsuit, Lee Gelernt, the deputy director of the American Civil Liberties Union's Immigrants' Rights Project, has said the task force should commit to bring the deported parents back to the U.S. under special protections to reunite with their children.

There was a report months ago, I believe before the election, that the families of the kids did not want them back. They wanted the kids to remain in the US. Lefties just assume they know what’s best for everyone, and don’t give a da*n what anyone thinks. They want to rule us all, and in this last year, apparently are doing that very well.

If the laws for harboring illegal immigrants or human smuggling were applied to those relatives they stay with, this would diminish the facade.

Hannity played a clip last night of Psaki answering a question about the kids being kept in the “containers” with bars on the windows. She said “accompanied” kids are there until they can match them up with their parents. FINALLY, a guest (forget who it was) with sense enough to say - you heard her say “UNACCOMPANIED and they’re going to put them with their parents”? People aren’t listening as no one in the briefing asked her what in the devil she meant by that either.
You can proofread all day and still goof - that’s supposed to be Psaki said “unaccompanied” kids... Sorry!

Just out of curiosity, did the other 184 get here without their parents? If so, how?
Or, if they do know where the parents of the other 184 children are, why have they not been reunited?

I remember reading the same report.
What they are leaving out is the fact that many of these parents did not want their children back because they PAID some coyote to bring their children to the USA.
They know that their child has a much better chance at a decent life in the US than they do in these poor Central American countries controlled by drug gangs.
Also, once their child grows to a certain age they can then send money to Mama. Plus, maybe get enough money for Mama and the rest of the family to move to the USA.
So, WHY would they want their child back?

Most likely the 184 paid a coyote to smuggle their children to the USA. This is because a dishwasher or landscaper job in the USA is 100X better than what they can make in Central America.
No one can blame these people for wanting to come here. We just want them to come here legally and be checked out for diseases like small pox, TB and covid-19 before they mix in with our population.
Then once they come here I want them to pay taxes, SS, medicare and all the other things I pay. Yes, I know that most do not pay taxes.

The 15 year olds from working familes may be labeled children, however; many of them are making their decisions independent of their parents, including leaving home. The younger ones are sent often impersonating some child with legitimate residence. The parents then cross with another coyote. Some one will later bring documents to get the kids in school. It’s a really, big business. Our political policies have reinforced the law breaking more thsn the law abiding. I strongly disagree with illegitimate political powers disestalishing this country. However, Lord willing, our church will reach some of the immigrants with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Calvario.kerrville@gmail.
