After a year of national attention and controversy surrounding elections, the Fulton County election director was fired on Tuesday. Or maybe not. The Fulton County Registration and Elections Board voted 3-2 to fire election director Richard Barron during a public session meeting Tuesday. Barron has led Fulton’s elections since 2013 and the board originally voted to fire him during a closed-door meeting last week. It was later decided the vote was not binding because it didn’t happen in a public setting. Content Continues Below Fulton County Chairman Robb Pitts told Channel 2 investigator reporter Justin Gray that it’s unclear if...

It is plain to anyone with eyes to see that in this nation justice is not being equally applied. If people don't think this is a problem, they are part of it.Democrats’ calls for an indefinite commission to investigate the non-leftist Capitol riot should prepare you for another multi-year Russia collusion hoax-style narrative with intricate webs of players, evidence, and lies. One of the key facts in this accelerated use of police powers against Democrats’ political opposition is the death of Capitol Police officer Brian Sicknick. As Tristan Justice explained Monday, Democrats used Sicknick’s death in the aftermath of the riot...

As snow and ice slam much of the southern United States, migrant communities along the U.S.-Mexico border are enduring freezing temperatures with scarce resources. At a migrant camp in Matamoros, Mexico, directly across the border from Brownsville, Texas, tents made out of blue tarp have iced over as a winter blast brought freezing temperatures and icy rain to the region this week. Water used for cooking and bathing has also frozen. Many of those living at the camp are waiting in Mexico while their asylum applications are processed in the U.S., under the Trump administration's so-called "Remain in Mexico" policy....

From Pennsylvania to California, Americans are relearning what Lord Acton warned about over two centuries ago: power corrupts. Giving governors "emergency powers" to fight COVID-19 is destroying our civil liberties and endangering our lives. The stench from New York Governor Andrew Cuomo's nursing home carnage and months-long cover up is finally causing even Democratic pols in Albany to turn against him. At least 14 are now joining Republicans to demand Cuomo be stripped of his emergency COVID-19 powers. And not a day too soon. Cuomo used those powers to shut restaurants and other businesses, close schools and even impose heavy-handed...

“The one who does not love does not know God, for God is love” (1 John 4:8). God’s love is unconditional and righteous. We hear a lot today about love from books, magazines, TV, and movies. If you didn’t know any better, you’d think that our society is the most loving on earth. Much of the “love,” though, is nothing more than lust masquerading as love, or selfishness disguised as kindness. But today’s verse tells us that “God is love”; the character of God defines love. To clear up any confusion about love, we need only to look at who...

President Joe Biden said during a CNN town hall on Tuesday that when he came into office, they “didn’t have” the coronavirus vaccine. Biden made the statement despite health care workers receiving the first doses in mid-December 2020, well over a month before he was sworn in.

Burger King doesn't want to come out a loser in fast food's chicken sandwich wars. So it's planning an upgrade. The chain said Wednesday that it is replacing its current crispy chicken sandwich with a new, hand-breaded version. The new product, which comes in original or spicy, is made with a savory signature sauce and served with pickles on a potato bun. It will be available at Burger King restaurants across the country later this year. Competition in the chicken sandwich space is fierce. Following the wild success of the Popeyes chicken sandwich launch in 2019, restaurants across the industry...

WASHINGTON — A devastating winter storm that has plunged Texas into an electricity crisis offers warning signs for the U.S. as the Biden administration seeks to prepare for a future in which extreme weather is a greater risk and America is almost entirely powered by renewable energy. Energy generation is one challenge. But an equally daunting task centers on storing power from renewable energy for extreme events like the one hammering Texas. Wind and solar, still fairly small slices of the state's energy mix, played only a minimal role in the sudden power shortage, utility officials said — contrary to...

Would it shock you to know that Jesus experienced the feeling of having accomplished little? In Isaiah 49:4 we read these words: “I have labored in vain, I have spent my strength for nothing and in vain….” Note that these are not the words of Isaiah, who was called by God at a mature age. No, they are Christ’s own words, spoken by One “called…from the womb; from the matrix of my mother…The Lord…formed me from the womb to be his servant, to bring Jacob back to him, so that Israel is gathered to Him” (49:1, 5). When I came...

China Joe Biden held a townhall on CNN last night, and never managed to mention the 4 million Texans freezing in the dark without electricity through the course of the event. That’s what Democrats refer to as “unity.” Biden did manage to lie a lot, though, par for the course for any Democrat politician. He started with this whopper, telling Anderson Cooper that “we didn’t have it [the coronavirus vaccine] when we came into office.”:

AUSTIN, Texas - Winter weather that has overwhelmed power grids unprepared for climate change and left millions without electricity in record-breaking cold kept its grip on the nation’s midsection Wednesday. At least 20 people have died, some while struggling to find warmth inside their homes. In the Houston area, one family succumbed to carbon monoxide from car exhaust in their garage; another perished after flames spread from their fireplace. Blame the polar vortex, a weather pattern that usually keeps to the Arctic, but is increasingly visiting lower latitudes and staying beyond its welcome. Scientists say global warming caused by humans...

FRANKFURT - Unpaid debt from pandemic-stricken borrowers has ravaged profits at Europe’s big banks and kick-started a debate among politicians about whether they may ultimately need state help. Reflecting on the pandemic impact, many bank executives say the worst is behind them, with Societe Generale CEO Frederic Oudea and BNP Paribas CEO Jean-Laurent Bonnafe predicting an imminent rebound. While executives voice confidence, European officials worry the banks’ problems have barely begun. They fear more borrowers will default when government support, including billions of euros of loan guarantees in France, Spain and elsewhere, is unwound. Officials spelt out their concerns in...

The final report of the sexual misconduct of the late Ravi Zacharias was released last week. Many of us knew the findings would be devastating due to a preliminary report issued several months ago, and even before that report, credible accounts started to surface about his personal lifestyle, rife with sexual dalliances. Reading the report makes us shake our heads in disbelief. How could someone who came across as brilliant, gifted, and credible lead a secret life of such utter slavery to sexual sin? What do we say?

He is one of only 10 Republicans in the House to have voted in favor of impeachment earlier this year. The Times, in a piece they title ‘Adam Kinzinger’s Lonely Mission,’ notes that the anti-Trumper received a two-page, handwritten letter from 11 members of his family.

Meanwhile in 21st century America, in addition to binging Netflix, people took the opportunity to become even more woke than they already were.An increasing number of woke teachers are refusing to study the Bard — accusing his classic works of promoting “misogyny, racism, homophobia, classism, anti-Semitism, and misogynoir.”A slew of English literature teachers told the School Library Journal (SLJ) how they were ditching the likes of “Hamlet,” “Macbeth” and “Romeo and Juliet” to instead “make room for modern, diverse, and inclusive voices.”“Shakespeare was a tool used to ‘civilize’ Black and brown people in England’s empire,” insisted Shakespeare scholar Ayanna Thompson,...
