During Tuesday’s broadcast of FNC’s “Hannity,” Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) weighed in on the developing feud between former President Donald Trump and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY).
Graham reminded viewers that McConnell played a role in Trump’s successes but said Trump would be a needed component for Republicans to win the majority back in 2022.

If the GOP actually wants to win in the future, they need to demonstrate some “curiosity” about 2020. So long as the GOP shrugs it off and just blandly says “We’ll get ‘em next time”, then they are not a serious party and do not deserve support.

He’s not backstabbing anybody. It actually is permitted to disagree with Trump on some issues and still know that he’s the leader of the party and also to agree on his basic MAGA program. Trump and Graham seem to speak fairly often, so obviously Trump doesn’t share your opinion.
And why do Freepers rush forward to shoot somebody down when he actually does something good? That’s why we lose elections. Too much time attacking each other for being less than perfect in our eyes.
Good things are happening in terms of the party - most of the people who voted to impeach have been censured, which actually means not just a nasty letter, but that the GOP won’t raise funds for them and will cut off their campaign funding perks. So the party is beginning to assert discipline, and one of the things that is fundamental is that Trump is the leader of the party and that Graham is absolutely right.
Once the Uni-party always the Uni-party.
McConnell would prefer any democrat running the government than Trump. So being a minority leader for McConnell is not an inconvenient position, as long as he can keep the sissy Senate Republicans as his own cadre of servile bitches.

I remember seeing Graham and McCain at a rally back in 2007. 14 years later, all I remember is that they felt it was real important to cut taxes for corporations. I don’t remember them saying much of anything about the 2A or illegal immigration. It’s hard to believe McCain lost.
