Here in the state of Texas, we’re currently experiencing a freak chill with temperatures that dropped well below the southern part of Alaska. Many residents have fled their homes due to not having any power to heat, thanks to the fact that Texas has made around a quarter of its power source “green energy,” mostly in the form of wind farms. As Tucker Carlson pointed out last night, Texas shouldn’t be having an energy problem at all. The state of Texas is the largest source of natural gas in the world. He likened running out of power in Texas to starving...

Where were the suits now pulling out of GOP donations when Democrats ignored due process in the 2018 Justice Brett Kavanaugh confirmation hearings? As The Federalist has continued to expose, corporate America has a double standard for its PAC donations based on arbitrary and partisan distinctions. Since virtue-signaling multinational corporations claim to be so intent on rescinding campaign contribution dollars to the GOP to retaliate against members of Congress who did not vote to certify the 2020 presidential election, this presents a reciprocal question. Where were the suits when Democrats ignored due process in the 2018 Justice Brett Kavanaugh confirmation hearings?...

In England and California, much is made of second homes that are not placed in the rental market. The primary reason that second homes are not rented out is because of highly justified owner fears of tenant problems. These fears keep millions of higher quality houses and spacious condos out of the rental market. If millions of houses and condos were added to the rental market, rents would fall somewhat. The government insists on small security deposits because of a desire to make it easy for tenants to rent a place to live and to move. Security deposit laws were...

Hard to believe, but I have a kid approaching driving age. He’s a wonderful boy, in every way. Devout, intelligent, and obsessed with basketball and video games, says his prayers every night before bed. Always reminds me to do penance on Fridays if I forget what day it is and eat meat (what day is this?). Anyway, the Catholic formation we attempted, albeit imperfectly, to impose on him took. It blossomed. Our son is always dressed for sports practice. He asked for a new weight bench and plates for Christmas. He spent all of lockdown working out, just to make...

A Democratic congressman accused Donald Trump in a federal lawsuit on Tuesday of inciting the deadly insurrection at the U.S. Capitol and of conspiring with his lawyer and extremist groups to try to prevent the Senate from certifying the results of the presidential election he lost to Joe Biden. The lawsuit from Mississippi's Rep. Bennie Thompson, chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee, is part of an expected wave of litigation over the Jan. 6 riot and is believed to be the first filed by a member of Congress. It seeks unspecified punitive and compensatory damages.

The Biden administration and Democrats are expected later this week to release an immigration reform bill, multiple sources familiar with the planning tell NBC News. The legislative text of the “U.S. Citizenship Act of 2021” will reflect the immigration priorities that President Joe Biden unveiled on his first day in office. His proposal includes an earned pathway to citizenship for 11 million illegals, expands the refugee resettlement program and deploys more technology to the Southern border. There are additional protections that are being considered in the legislation, such as asylum processing in home countries for minors, expanded benefits for DREAMers...

Two of the warships actually began construction – with Schlachtschiff H laid down by Blohm & Voss in Hamburg on June 15, 1939; while the Schlachtschiff J was laid down by AG Weser in Bremen on August 15, 1939, just two weeks before Germany invaded Poland. Construction was halted in October as the war effort focused on the construction of U-boats rather than battleships. By 1940, the material used in the early construction of the two super battleships was scrapped and then directed to other uses.

As a Chinese immigrant watching my first pro game, it was obvious to me that such pride and patriotism wasn't coerced by the state, but a genuine expression by free people.Mark Cuban, the billionaire owner of the Dallas Mavericks, recently decided the national anthem would not be played at Mavericks’ home games, citing his desire to listen to voices of “those who feel that the anthem doesn’t represent them.” But to me, a Chinese immigrant, Cuban’s decision did not feel inclusive, but ignorant of what the anthem does represent. I never went to a professional sports event when I was...

They Say They Want a “Revolution.” Believe Them. Rioters for Black Lives Matter and Antifa got released mostly without bail. Those who did face bail had Kamala Harris, no less, out helping them raise the scratch. Americans who resist the left, like Jake Gardner and Ashli Babbitt, can go off and die, like the maladapted primates the Democrats think they are. SNIP They Want Us Helpless Like Veal Calves These same Democrats now are preparing to gut the Second Amendment, the last restraint our founders put in place should all else fail, and our government turn into the kind of...

How did Joe Biden relax during his first Presidents Day weekend as president? By playing MarioKart with his family. During his weekend retreat at Camp David, Biden and his granddaughter Naomi played the racing video game, and he won. Naomi shared a video to Instagram that showed Biden competing against her on the Arcade GP DX machines, complete with chairs and steering wheels. Biden sat on the right as Luigi, and Naomi is Princess Peach on the left, GameRant noted. Despite not being at the same gaming level as his granddaughter, the commander-in-chief came out victorious. "Secret service made an...

Not even a month into the new administration and already the press has a scandal to whitewash so Joe Biden’s tenure can be dubbed ‘’scandal free.” T.J. Ducklo, the Deputy Press Secretary, had a whirlwind week conclude with his resignation on Saturday. That much of this unspooled during the media vacuum of the weekend means it tamped down some of the press hysteria, so Joe Biden can take some comfort -- if he even noticed. As we will see, that is one of the questions. What played out over the course of a day or so exposes a contradiction to what...

Some blue-checkmark social-media influencer named Rob Gill caused quite a sensation on Twitter over the weekend for calling on Democrats to attack Republicans who voted to acquit Donald Trump. Huh. This isn’t quite the unity we were promised from the Left. PSA: Everyone MUST go after every senator who voted “Not Guilty”. [sic] Go after EVERY SINGLE ASPECT OF THEIR LIVES. Scream at them at airports, call them at 3am, show up at their offices. #impeachment Gill’s attempt to channel Congresswoman Maxine Waters was highlighted on Twitter by videographer Elijah Schaffer, who has chronicled the Left at antifa and BLM...

Actor and former WWE superstar Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, who has teased the possibility of a presidential run in the past, said he is still open to it and would consider running in the future “if that’s what the people wanted.” “I would consider a presidential run in the future if that’s what the people wanted,” the Fast and the Furious star said. “Truly I mean that, and I’m not flippant in any way with my answer. That would be up to the people. … So I would wait, and I would listen. I would have my finger on the...

A Los Angeles County health inspector was captured on video dancing inside a brewery after incorrectly ordering the owner to close his doors on Super Bowl Sunday for violating COVID guidelines. Bart Avery, an owner of Bravery Brewery in Lancaster, California, told Fox News that the inspector came to the establishment around 11am on February 7. Avery claimed the inspector told an employee that the business was in violation of county guidelines because there was no food truck and needed to close just moments before she broke out in a dance.

The Daily Show host Trevor Noah took a break from mocking conservatives to launch a rare offensive against a fellow left winger — New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D), who is facing a widening scandal over allegations that his administration covered up the extent of coronavirus deaths in nursing homes in order to avoid a federal investigation under the Trump administration.

Hey, some of you probably thought I was dead. Well, sorry, Democrats, no such luck. Didn’t have another heart event, didn’t contract the ‘rona, the website isn’t down again. So yay on all of that. What did happen, though, is we have no power at our home. Haven’t had any since 6:00 a.m. Monday, and it now looks like we won’t have any again until Friday at the earliest. In case you hadn’t heard, the entire state of Texas looks an awful lot like Alaska right now. Ok, well, West Texas looks more like South Dakota, but you get the...

CUMBERLAND, Maryland -- Had it not been for the kindness of strangers, Henry McCain would have died the way he led much of his adult life: cold, alone and without a blanket to cover his feet at night. Instead, McCain left this world not a nameless drifter but with dignity, a sense of belonging and a last sip of his beloved ice-cold Coca-Cola. On the morning McCain died, Pastor David Ziler and his wife, Andrea Ziler, went into the hospice room they had created at the homeless shelter they run, gave McCain his medications, cleaned him up and sat his...

Naomi shared a video to Instagram that showed Biden competing against her on the Arcade GP DX machines, complete with chairs and steering wheels. Naomi Biden posted on Snapchat this weekend that she and her grandfather played an arcade-style game round of Mario Kart at Camp David over the weekend — and that he won. “Secret Service made an exception and let him drive himself!” Naomi Biden, who is 27, wrote on the photo, adding: “A little rusty but he...
