President Biden is currently reviewing whether or not to revoke former President Donald Trump’s access to classified briefings. Modern-day presidents in the United States typically continue to receive classified intelligence briefings even after they leave the White House. Biden press secretary Jen Psaki on Monday indicated the matter was currently being looked into. “This is a good question,” Psaki told reporters. “It’s something that’s obviously under review.” Critics of the former president have indicated Trump can not be trusted with some of the perks that are often granted to those who once served the American people.

Voting for Donald Trump’s impeachment and keeping the people in leadership positions who supported this recent impeachment push is going to drive the GOP base mad. It already has. I will not be shocked if Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) faces a serious primary challenge in 2022. While there were reports that at least half of the House GOP caucus wanted her gone, she remained, handily winning a secret ballot vote. It’s a classic case of all talk, no action. Saying one thing but doing another. I know, that’s a hallmark characteristic of American politics, but people have had it. It’s...

Cardinal Gerhard Müller, prefect emeritus of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, recently made comments to the National Catholic Register’s Edward Pentin about the current discussion of the Great Reset, as promoted by the Davos World Economic Forum (WEF). In this context, the cardinal expressed an earnest warning that he sees a merging of Western capitalist organizations with China, forming a new “unified capital-socialism.” On January 29, the German prelate told Pentin that two sides — “profiteering capitalism, big-tech giants of Western countries” and the “communism of the People’s Republic of China” — are today “converging and merging...

Last Sunday, Chris Wallace solemnly called attention to what he regards as a growing embarrassment in Congress: A Georgia representative, Marjorie Taylor Greene, whom Democrats have now stripped of all assignments in their august body because she refuses to keep her mouth shut. Congresswoman Greene thinks the presidential election on Nov. 3 was full of fraud and requires further investigation. In the past, she has also described George Soros, to the horror of CNN, as a “Nazi,” and promoted QAnon conspiracy views, which among other things would have us believe that the Deep State is controlled by pedophiles and other...

He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world? Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings:...

We now know what is apparently the price the New York Times is willing to pay in order to keep its correspondents in Communist China: the loss of any sense of journalistic integrity. The latest example of this comes in the form of a glowing paean to the Covid efforts of the Chinese Communist Party. A story on Friday that would make their old correspondent, Walter Duranty, proud that bends the knee to the CCP with the open worship title of "Power, Patriotism and 1.4 Billion People: How China Beat the Virus and Roared Back." Although there are a few...

Time has published an explainer piece offering a fascinating insight into how the presidential election was won. It’s titled “The Secret History of the Shadow Campaign that Saved the 2020 Election.” The fascinating part is what it tells us about the brazenness of the left in general and the corrupt, mendacious MSM in particular: they are now heavy-hinting that they cheated but want you to know that it’s all OK because they were doing it to not to destroy democracy but to preserve and enhance it. Here’s the key paragraph: That’s why the participants want the secret history of the...

ines for not wearing a mask while traveling will start at $250 — for first time offenders — and go up to $1,500 for repeat offenders, according to the Transporation Security Administration. The administration said it will support President Joe Biden’s executive order that requires travelers to wear face masks when they are in airports, bus, and rail stations, as well as while on passenger aircraft, public transportation, passenger railroads, and over-the-road buses operating on scheduled fix-routes. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention also issued an emergency order requiring individuals to wear masks on conveyances and at stations, ports,...

The Government Accountability Institute (GAI) published a “Cannabis Croynism” investigation on Friday detailing potential political corruption surrounding the $21 billion marijuana industry, including conflicts of interest involving former Rep. John Boehner (R-OH), Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), and Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D-NY). The GAI’s Eric Eggers joined Friday’s edition of SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Daily with host Alex Marlow to discuss the report’s findings. “John Boehner stands to make $20 million dollars if marijuana … becomes legalized nationally,” Egger said. “He’s gonna a long-time associate and employed with the cannabis industry. That’s a big time 180, philosophically, from where...

It is no exaggeration to compare the COVID vaccine rollout to a Keystone Cops movie. When people spend hours frantically trying to find a website to register for vaccination while unused vials of it are discarded by day’s end, it doesn’t take a Sherlock Holmes to detect that something is wrong with the system. Part of the problem rests with efforts to prioritize vaccinations based upon individuals’ health status. Although it may intuitively — and perhaps ethically — make medical sense to inoculate people who are most likely to become seriously ill if infected, the nearly impossible logistics of doing...

It’s junk justice! A viral internet meme of a naked, well-endowed man was included in an affidavit filed by the FBI to support federal charges against a suspect in the Capitol riot. The image, known in internet circles as “wood sitting on a bed,” was photoshopped into a framed painting in the background of an other wise unchanged picture of rioters inside the US Capitol on Jan. 6.

Whenever Christopher Plummer was asked about “The Sound of Music” – and he was asked about it so often it made him dyspeptic – he quoted the actor Doug McClure, who once cracked: “Watching ‘The Sound of Music’ is like being beaten to death by a Hallmark card.” If the movie popped up on television, Plummer, who died Friday at 91, “reached for the remote,” he once told me. “I avoid television at all costs around the holidays,” he added, with a laugh. Plummer became a movie star at age 36 playing Captain Von Trapp in “The Sound of Music.”...

Freshman lawmaker Rep. Doug Okuniewicz (Hayden, Idaho) has launched his first hot topic piece of legislation — preserving Idaho's historic monuments. ...Okuniewicz, R-Hayden, amended the [draft] legislation to clarify that municipalities or groups would need the support of lawmakers only if they were planning on permanently removing or decommissioning a piece. Moving or doing restoration procedures on a memorial or monument would not require legislative action. "I appreciate the work that the representative has done in working with the committee to address our concerns. I do feel that it is important that we preserve our history and not set an...

ATLANTA -- In a new report, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention noted that LGBTQ people in the US are more likely to have many of the severe underlying health conditions associated with severe disease from COVID-19. However, the agency noted that a lack of data around LGBTQ populations in current COVID-19 surveillance systems is preventing more nuanced examination and assistance to these groups.

GREENVILLE, SC (WSPA) – After Tommy’s Country Ham House owner Tommy Stevenson, Sr. announced the popular Greenville eatery would be closing its doors for good in May, many people in the Upstate community have come forward saying they hate to hear that the restaurant is closing. But maybe not as much as Circuit Court Judge Charles Simmons and South Carolina Supreme Court Justice John Kittredge, who, in good humor, teamed up to issue a “permanent injunction” denying Stevenson’s request to retire and close the restaurant. South Carolina Highway Patrol Commanders Don Dickerson and Joe Hovis served Stevenson with the injunction....
