As of the November elections, the nation is at war. It’s a 21sup>st-century war, so it’s very different. Because it’s new, the scope and magnitude aren’t easily understood. It hasn’t been declared. It may never be. Hence, for many millions of Americans, perceptions are clouded or lagging. In human affairs, with change, this often occurs. It’s the second American civil war, and its origins predate the November elections fraud, which seems on track to steal the presidency from the rightful winner, Donald J. Trump. The genesis of this civil war is the ideo-cultural war that has waxed and waned across...

House Democratic leaders are trying to keep the espionage scandal surrounding Intelligence Committee member Rep. Eric Swalwell under tight control. But it's going to be an uphill battle. Republicans are pushing harder and harder to learn more about Swalwell's relationship with Chinese spy Christine Fang. And the Democrats' strongest ally -- The New York Times, which has averted its eyes and so far refused to publish even one word about the matter -- can't hold out forever. Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy is demanding the FBI brief all members of the Intelligence Committee on what the bureau knows about the relationship...

Smartmatic's history in Venezuela, flipping votes amid conflicts of interest, suggests some problems here, too. American Thinker published my article about Smartmatic voting systems in Venezuela on Sept. 5, 2017, titled How the Venezuelan Elections Were Rigged. The other day Andrea Widburg published an article citing the “irregularities” that were experienced in the Nov. 3, 2020 elections with Dominion Voting Systems that use Smartmatic software. What happened in Venezuela is highly relevant to what is happening here and now, so this is how it happened there: On July 30, 2017, President Nicolas Maduro conjured up a vote to replace the...

Canada's government has blocked a Chinese company from acquiring a Toronto-based firm that runs a gold mine in the Arctic due to national security reasons, the company said Tuesday. A statement from Shandong Gold Mining Co., which is owned by the Chinese government, said that a review required by law under Canada's Investment Canada Act had resulted in a decision denying the acquisition of TMAC Resources Inc. "for the purpose of safeguarding national security." Bloomberg reported that TMAC owns the Hope Bay gold mine in Nunavut, a property that would have been part of a $150 million purchase by Shandong....

Election integrity demands indisputable separation of fact from fiction. Cheating and then claiming, "I won!" does not make a person a winner. Fraud — whether organized or disorganized, isolated or widespread, individual or coordinated — disqualifies results. When flags are thrown and violations confirmed, penalties are assessed and downs replayed. Occasionally, violators may be rejected or time added back to the clock. Confirmed chicanery requires vacated victories and reassignment of crowns. Election totals fuel widespread declarations and serve as the basis for future ratified actions. But if tallies are tainted, the claims are based on false data, and consequential actions...

This year is on track to be the deadliest in U.S. history with a total of more than 3 million deaths expected by the end of December, due in large part to the coronavirus pandemic, according to data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The Associated Press reported Tuesday that preliminary numbers suggest the U.S. will have at least 3.2 million deaths by the end of 2020, about 400,000 more than in 2019...

President-elect Joe Biden said Tuesday that the federal tax probe targeting his son Hunter Biden’s murky financial dealings is “Russian misinformation,” and called the reporter who asked for comment on the probe a “one horse pony.” As he walked off stage after a press conference in Wilmington, Del., Biden was asked by Fox News if he still believed The Post’s exclusive reporting on the contents of his son Hunter Biden’s laptop was “Russian misinformation,” in the wake of reports that some of those damaging emails were part of the federal probe. “Yes, yes, yes. God love you, man. You are...

The powers that be in California’s Santa Clara County have forbidden contact sports—including San Francisco 49ers games, which will be held in Arizona—for the remainder of the season, due to rising Covid-19 cases. Such overreach in California’s sixth-largest county, justified by claims to enhance public safety, is ironic, given Santa Clara’s lax sanctuary policies, which have recently resulted in tragic deaths. Last month, a thrice-deported illegal immigrant with a long history of violent crime stabbed five people, killing two, John Paulson, 45, and Kimberly Susan Fial, 55, at the Grace Baptist Church in San Jose. The suspect, Fernando De Jesus...

White House chief of staff Mark Meadows made a surprise appearance at Georgia’s audit of absentee ballot envelope signatures Tuesday afternoon. The former Republican congressman from North Carolina was flanked by Secret Service agents as he arrived at the Cobb County Civic Center in Marietta, where state officials were in the process of conducting signature verification on absentee mail-in ballots. He was not allowed in the room where officials were inspecting ballot envelopes, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported. Meadows had previously made headlines with a tweet Monday evening vowing to “fight back” against President-elect Joe Biden's victory.

The video is shocking. As Americans only begin to wake up to the reality of just how severely compromised their political leaders are by a communist superpower, Arizona Republican Gov. Doug Ducey’s alarmingly frank language resounds like thunderclaps. “We just had a great meeting with the Chinese Chamber of Commerce just now. And, very exciting, lots of opportunities, including public-private partnerships. I’ve mentioned semiconducters, electronics, aerospace, our defense industry, mining and ores that we do…. So I think from the franchise business to the aerospace and defense business, we would like to do more business with China, with Chinese business...

Speaking in West Palm Beach, Florida at a Student Action Summit organized by Turning Point USA, a major pro-Trump and conservative youth advocacy group, the vice president urged the crowd "to stay in the fight in our election." As our election contest continues, I’ll make you a promise, we’re going to keep fighting until every legal vote is counted. We’re going to keep fighting until every illegal vote is thrown out," Pence said, repeating a line he has used frequently as he has campaigned in recent weeks in the Georgia Senate runoff elections, where the Republican Senate majority’s at stake....

Stranded lorry drivers have clashed with police officers at Dover after the border with France was reopened this morning. Police and lorry drivers were said to be in a "stand-off" on Wednesday morning as tensions ran high at the port. Drivers were filmed jeering and booing at police and there were some scuffles after reports of delays to the border reopening. The Calais-Dover crossing was shutdown on Sunday evening over fears of a new highly-infectious Covid strain, leaving thousands of lorry drivers stranded before Christmas. More than 2,800 lorries have been stuck at the port after France stopped them crossing...
