The New Phony War
American Thinker.com ^ | December 23, 2020 | J. Robert Smith

As of the November elections, the nation is at war. It’s a 21sup>st-century war, so it’s very different. Because it’s new, the scope and magnitude aren’t easily understood. It hasn’t been declared. It may never be. Hence, for many millions of Americans, perceptions are clouded or lagging. In human affairs, with change, this often occurs.

It’s the second American civil war, and its origins predate the November elections fraud, which seems on track to steal the presidency from the rightful winner, Donald J. Trump. The genesis of this civil war is the ideo-cultural war that has waxed and waned across the nation since the late 1960s. So, November’s election thievery might better be regarded as an outgrowth and escalation -- a potentially nation-shattering escalation – of that decades-old cultural conflict.

We are in the initial phase of the new civil war. Call it the phony war, which was also the “strangely quiet start to World War II.” The Second World War went eight months without significant hostilities on the Western Front, months marked by puzzlement and hesitancy (see the “Confetti War,” which stemmed from the Phony War.)

America’s first civil war had its phony phase of sorts, too. Lincoln was elected on November 6, 1860. Fort Sumter was attacked on April 12, 1861. Over five months, tensions built, and then hostilities commenced.

The parallels aren’t exact, of course. But the phony phase of this new civil war is reminiscent. One of the grievous errors made in warfare is fighting the current war like the last. In this instance, it’s expecting that wars have orthodoxies, and if those orthodoxies aren’t present, then there isn’t war. Understandings must change.

Well, right now we’re all just sitting and watching “the process” utterly fail to correct an obviously fraudulent election. But there’s a certain obligation to let it play out.

I’m wondering what happens if additional layers of “process” fail in the future. I am specifically thinking of jury nullification.

Let’s say someone gets really upset with certain Leftists. And does something they shouldn’t. And they are arrested, and tried, and it goes to a jury. And the jury says, “This guy committed that horrible crime? Good for him! Definitely Not Guilty!!”

The Left wants to live in a land with no laws? How about no prosecution for making life unpleasant for Leftists? What happens if WE get to sit on juries and just decide that WE are never guilty?

That’s just more process failure, I suppose. And then what do they do?

If there is no law, there is no law

That is it is ok to shoot progressives since there is no law against it

The author is incorrect. I would say Revolutionary War. The country has been taken away from us without firing a shot. We are fighting multiple front to take the country back. That is fighting the oppressors who took the country and gave it away to countries like China and Russia. For example Freedom of speech no longer exists and we are trying to take that back.

One thing we learned from election night, is there are a lot more of us than we thought. 74 million and that’s before you count in the unknowable number of Trump votes that got switched/shredded/lost.

After all the harm they have wrought, Newsome, Cuomo, Whitmer, De Blasio, etc., are all alive and have not even been shot at.
Nothing is going to happen. The American Right is so law-abiding, it’s almost painful. The only way something might happen would be if action were somehow legitimized.
And don’t forget, legitimate force or otherwise, the police would fight us with a ferocity they never showed against Antifa and BLM. They are in a crappy position, but they’re not going to take our side.

I’m an advocate of this. In thousands of tiny ways, fight back.

As you said, jury nullification.

Trade—don’t buy or sell. Avoid the federal tax man robbery.

Apply for government grants as if you needed welfare, homelessness protection, gay rights, whatever. Act aggrieved. Claim minorityship.

Find where THEY live and show up to protest on THEIR front lawn, or at their kid’s school (you know, the rich private ones). At there company. When they make speeches at public events. Be there with a sign.

Prosecutors and judges, especially at the Federal level, have shown recently that if you are deemed an enemy of the State; guilty or not, that at the very least, they would just send the guy to trail over and over again until they got the verdict they want.

That’s true, they can be quite creative in destroying people - even driving some to suicide. People are taking notice and losing faith in “the system” all over the country.

Definitely on board with this, though I pretty much always have been. Prohibition wasn't repealed because of actions on the streets. It ended because juries stopped convicting for the offenses.

Too direct. Get yourself the following:

1. Full-size pickup
2. Opaque, non-metallic bed cap with no little windows on the side (item #5 give off an amber glow when turned on)
3. High-voltage transformers
4. Oil-cooling system for the transformers
5. Roughly two dozen dental X-ray tubes, lined in an array and sitting above the lip of the truck bed
6. Steel X-ray shielding for the top, bottom, and rear of the tubes
7. Refrigeration system to keep all those tubes cool
8. De-humidifier to keep condensation from forming on any of the HV contacts or wiring

Where the fraud takes place, spend a year or two driving through them in the warm months when people are outside. Stop signs and red lights are your special friends. In five years the cancer fairy might pay them a visit.
