(CNN)President Donald Trump convened a heated meeting in the Oval Office on Friday, including lawyer Sidney Powell and her client, former national security adviser Michael Flynn, two people familiar with the matter said, describing a session that began as an impromptu gathering but devolved and eventually broke out into screaming matches at certain points as some of Trump's aides pushed back on Powell and Flynn's more outrageous suggestions about overturning the election. Flynn had suggested earlier this week that Trump could invoke martial law as part of his efforts to overturn the election that he lost to President-elect Joe Biden...

It seems to me that since the Democrats have a hard time voting by the rules or laws. I propose that all blue voting areas in States shall be run by Republicans with Democrats overlooking the vote count.. Democrats can run the Red Zones with Republicans overlooking vote count.. All rules shall be the same. No shutting down the vote count in the middle of the nite. All absentee ballots will be verified by signature. No signature no vote. Goes in the file 13.. machine can't read the ballot kicks it out goes in file 13. No fixing ballots.. No...

The children had gathered at a home in Ghazni province to recite Quran verses, a regular activity on the Islamic holy day of Friday, when the blast happened. Mr Wahedullah Jumazada, spokesman for the province's governor, said: "Unfortunately, as a result of this incident, 15 people - all children - were martyred." Ghazni police confirmed the blast and that all the victims were children. Twenty other people, including some children, were wounded....

Yesterday, I covered a story put out by The Federalist (and later confirmed by The Daily Wire) that some members of Congress had been briefed on Eric Swalwell and his relationship with a Chinese spy named Christine Fang. Part of that report was that it was confirmed by the FBI that Swalwell did have a sexual relationship with Fang. That’s been suspected from the beginning given Fang’s typical tactics and the fact that Swalwell refused to deny the claim.Well, it looks like we’ve just gotten confirmation the FBI did indeed provide such a briefing. Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy has announced...

The bomber – a woman – targeted a crowded area in the town of Konduga in Borno State, a local government official told Anadolu Agency. “The bomber snuck into the area and detonated her explosives. Jovan Hutton Pulitzer was in an interview where he discussed the entire ballot process and claims that he can identify all fraudulent ballots and can go through millions of ballots with his process in a matter of hours. He is for real. He is an expert in this area and his process seems legit. We don’t need to figure out entirely how the Democrats stole the election. We already know the steal was massive and they did everything imaginable to steal the landslide from President Trump and the American people. We just need to identify enough fraudulent ballots to PROVE...

D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser eased attendance caps for religious gatherings Wednesday after the Catholic Archdiocese of Washington sued the mayor over attendance limits introduced amid the recent surge in coronavirus cases. The modification gets rid of the 50-person limit for religious gatherings put in place last month and allows places of worship to reach 25% capacity, up to a maximum of 250 worshipers. Bowser’s alteration to the November restrictions will go into effect 12:01 a.m. Thursday — nearly a week before Christmas.

CNA Staff, Dec 15, 2020 / 04:21 pm MT (CNA).- A ban on headscarves for elementary school students was discriminatory and unconstitutional because it singled out Muslim girls' headscarves, the Austrian Constitutional Court has ruled. The court said the law banning headscarves for girls under 10 years old “contravened the principle of equality in relation to freedom of religion, belief and conscience.” Drafters tried to keep the text of the law neutral, banning “ideologically or religiously influenced clothing which is associated with the covering of the head.” Judge Christoph Grabenwarter, however, said additional material from the government made it clear...

PHILADELPHIA — Two years ago, the U.S. attorney in Philadelphia joined the long line of ambitious prosecutors investigating the Catholic Church’s handling of priest-abuse complaints. The Justice Department had never brought a conspiracy case against the church, despite exhaustive reports that showed its long history of burying abuse complaints in secret archives, transferring problem priests to new parishes, silencing accusers and fighting laws to benefit child sex assault victims. U.S. Attorney William McSwain sent subpoenas to bishops across Pennsylvania asking them to turn over their files and submit to grand jury testimony if asked. The FBI interviewed at least six...

(Read the whole thing. Very un PC and accurate) Sometimes you chase the story, and sometimes the story chases you. Two weeks ago I’m walkin’ through Century City, the business, residential, and dining district adjoining Beverly Hills. This is familiar territory to me; it’s home. So I know when something’s not right. Like the bus full of black folks that came barreling past me down Avenue of the Stars. And not just any bus; one of those supersize air-conditioned bathroom-in-the-back buses. I’m not a man who speaks in absolutes, but here’s one I’ll stand by: If a bus full of...

“The Handmaid’s Tale” (Luke 1:26-38) I’ve never seen the program, but I have heard about a television series called “The Handmaid’s Tale.” The premise of the show is that there is a tyrannical, theocratic government that is oppressing women. Of course, the religious people are portrayed as evil. The women that they are oppressing and enslaving are called “handmaids.” Well, the American Left have seized upon this, and in some of their marches, their women dress in the handmaids’ costumes as a way of protesting how religious people in our country are oppressing women. However, in the Holy Gospel for...
