The Trump administration has relaxed a regulation restricting water flow from showerheads, a pet peeve of President Donald Trump, who complained that he wanted more water to make his hair “perfect.” Since 1992, federal law has dictated that showerheads shouldn’t spew more than 2.5 gallons (9.5 liters) of water a minute. As newer shower fixtures came out with multiple nozzles, the Obama administration updated the ruling, stating that 2.5 gallons was still the limit regardless of how many nozzles were running. The Marine Corps is set to dissolve three infantry Military Occupational Specialities (MOS) and combine them into one "commando" MOS that can do it all, according to a Marine combat instructor briefed on the upcoming changes. "They are giving us new protocols and class information," he described. The shift signifies big changes for the Marine Corps and how it fights wars. Ohio can’t keep refusing to allow people to change the gender listings on their birth certificates, a federal court ruled Wednesday. In response to a lawsuit brought by four transgender people, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio found Ohio’s birth certificate rule imposed by the state Department of Health and the Office of Vital Statistics is unconstitutional. Motorists will have a little more room to navigate on the Turner Turnpike near Tulsa when a nearly $45 million construction project to widen the highway and make other road improvements is completed. The Oklahoma Turnpike Authority approved a contract this week with Sherwood Construction Co. Inc. of Tulsa to fund work on a four-mile stretch of the highway. A Cole County man was one of five people in the state selected for Missouri's first elk season in modern history. The five randomly selected hunters from all corners of the state were given the opportunity to hunt elk beginning this October.
