Ten Nigerian troops were killed and one was taken hostage in clashes with IS-linked jihadists in northeast Nigerian Borno state, according to two security sources. Clashes erupted on Monday when a team of soldiers stormed a camp of Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) in Alagarno village in Damboa district. “We lost 10 soldiers in the fight and one was taken by the terrorists,” a security source told AFP on Tuesday. The hostage was seized while fleeing to safety after the troops were outgunned, he said. “It was an intense battle and the terrorists also suffered casualties but they were...

The FBI has investigated at least six internal sexual misconduct allegations involving top brass over the last five years — but none of the accused officials ever faced discipline, even when the reports were substantiated... The cases include an assistant FBI director who was accused of drunkenly groping a female subordinate, a senior FBI official who allegedly sexually harassed eight employees and another high-ranking official accused of blackmailing a young employee for sex... Two of those claims came this week ... none of the high-ranking members faced discipline beyond quiet transfers and early retirements. “They’re sweeping it under the rug,”...

Let's take a break from the election. "Eighty and six years I have served Him, and He has done me no wrong," said Polycarp, bishop of Smyrna, in A.D. 156 before climbing onto a pyre where Roman authorities would burn him to death. Eyewitnesses reported the local authorities respected Polycarp and begged him to recant his faith in Christ. He would not. The Romans did not even tie Polycarp to a post because they knew he would not flee the fire. Polycarp fed his captors, prayed over them and then climbed the pyre to die. Authorities carted off Polycarp's friend...

Rita Hart, an Iowa Democrat, lost her bid in the open 2nd Congressional District by six votes out of more than 394,000 cast. Now, rather than continuing to appeal in court, Hart is taking her case directly to the House because it's a necessary step to get the results her campaign wants, she said in an online video.

Some of you need a lesson in English. I’m talking to all of you who want to call the Texas-led election lawsuit “a frivolous effort to disenfranchise millions of Americans.” You know who you are. This is maddening. You shouldn’t be using words like these unless you know what they mean. I hate to play the schoolteacher, but if you need a lesson in definitions, you need a lesson, even if it has to be a remedial one.“Evidence”I’d start with the word “frivolous,” but some of you are going to say it really is frivolous because “there’s no evidence of fraud.”...

Ben & Jerry’s debuted their latest ice cream flavor combination this week and, much to the dismay of millions of patriotic Americans who love this country, it’s name is inspired by none other than former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick. Of course, Colin Kaepernick’s new Ben & Jerry’s flavor is vegan and social justice friendly! Colin Kaepernick Teams Up With Ben & Jerry’s Yahoo News reported that “Colin Kaepernick’s Change the Whirled” is a vegan, nondairy frozen dessert that is set to launch through Ben & Jerry’s in 2021. The flavor is described as a “caramel, sunflower butter base with fudge...

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — President Donald Trump lost a Wisconsin lawsuit Friday seeking to disqualify more than 221,000 ballots and overturn his loss to Democrat Joe Biden in the battleground state, the latest in a string of legal defeats. Reserve Judge Stephen Simanek ruled against every argument Trump made challenging ballots in the state’s two largest counties, saying the election was properly administered and there was no wrongdoing as the president alleged.

For four and a half years, Donald John Trump has embarked on a daring mission to help rescue America. Almost singlehandedly he has destroyed the credibility of the legacy media, killed long-exhausted sacred cows of the political establishment, and reminded Republicans that we can fight for more than a slower surrender. He has built a multi-ethnic workers’ party that loves America without shame while simultaneously revealing the shameless depravity of rootless elites who will do anything and destroy anyone to cling to power.President Trump is now going to the courts and coming back to the rally stage to expose electoral...

New York Times blowhard economist Paul Krugman continues to beclown himself by accusing the GOP of not accepting the 2020 election results. That sounds similar to what Krugman himself wasn’t willing to do in 2016. Krugman mocked the GOP in a commentary headlined “Republicans Can’t Handle the Truth," for indulging — what he called — President Donald Trump’s “malicious, democracy-endangering lies” about voter fraud in the 2020 election. Then Krugman spit out a real doozy: “After all, when was the last time Republicans accepted a politically inconvenient fact? It has been clear for years that the modern G.O.P. is a...

Austin, TX – Texas lawmakers are considering a bill that would require homeowners to “retreat” before using deadly force in certain situations. Under Texas’ “castle doctrine,” citizens have the right to use deadly force to defend their “land or tangible, movable property,” KPRC reported. House Bill 196, filed by Rep. Terry Meza (D-Irving) earlier this month, would require homeowners to be “unable to safely retreat” before they could legally use deadly force against a perpetrator. Property owners would also no longer be able to use deadly force to stop aggravated robbery or robbery crimes under the bill, according to KPRC....

Charlie took on a personality that to viewers was so lifelike that he commanded a world-wide audience and huge media market share during this time period. Charlie, the dummy doll, became so well-known that his popularity actually exceeded that of his real-life partner, Edgar Bergen. Charlie became the marque title name of the Charlie McCarthy Show and, as his fame...

“We have no servers. We have no bussers. People are voluntarily waiting for their food in the parklets,” John Duggan said. After his family’s restaurant, Original Joe’s, caught some heat on Wednesday for allowing customers to eat their take-out orders in its parklet, John Duggan is now speaking out. “We’re not encouraging people to dine outside. At the same time, we’re never going to stop being hospitable and gracious to the customers we desperately need at this time to keep our lights on to survive and to keep our people employed,” Duggan said. “If they’re not gonna sit, they have...

New California State and New Nevada State are directly impacted by the arbitrary and capricious changes in election laws and procedures occur with unfortunate regularity in the current States of California and Nevada. Part of the reason for the formation of New California State and New Nevada Sate is to stop the lawless actions of Governors Newsome (California) and Sisolak (Nevada). An opinion by this Court affirming a national, uniform rule of law reestablishing the supremacy of The Electors Clause of Article II, § 1 of the United States Constitution will resolve some of the complaints causing the establishment of...

Let’s start with this inconvenient and overriding truth about the 2020 election: there is no such thing as a Joe Biden fan. Nobody actually likes Joe Biden, nobody admires him, nobody looks up to him. He’s no one’s idea of role model or an aspiration. Throughout his nearly 50-year career as a Washington hack politician—a nobody from a state that most Americans can’t find on a map, a lifelong, superannuated swamp dweller who has enriched himself and his family through “public service” and contributed nothing to the commonweal—Biden, 78, has “run” for president on a couple of occasions, only to...

Patrons could be seen eating and drinking outside the popular North Beach restaurant Original Joe's Wednesday evening. Restaurant employees from other locations say it isn't fair that one restaurant can stay open and others must close. As we began asking questions, some were not happy to see our cameras and one man quickly turned on us. "Is this considered outdoor dining? I guess it could be considered outdoor dining," says Joe Guinnane, who is against the stay-at-home order. With a sarcastic tone another man went on to say, "There is no outdoor dining!" The manager at Originals Joe's wouldn't talk...
