Dr. Tomás Aragón, who the SF Chronicle once described as “SF’s most powerful person in pandemic response,” is headed to Sacramento. Since 2010, he’s been the city’s health officer, which means that he’s been the final decision-maker on what’s been allowed to open and forced to close since the coronavirus crisis began. It’s a set of powers that SF’s City Attorney even laid out in May, after conflicts arose over who got to call the county’s COVID-19 shots. This morning, Gov. Gavin Newsom announced that Aragón has been appointed Director of the California Department of Public Health, replacing acting director...

The Arizona Supreme Court has agreed to hear a legal challenge to mail-in ballots in Maricopa County filed by the state's Republican Party Chairwoman Kelli Ward. Maricopa County is the largest county in Arizona, with a little over half the state's population. It is home to the state capital of Phoenix. The county went Democratic in the 2020 Presidential election for the first time since Harry S. Truman carried Arizona in 1948. Winning Maricopa, Joe Biden was narrowly able to carry the state by less than 11,000 votes, or 0.3%. An Arizona lower court had already dismissed Ward's suit on...

I don’t know how many times I’ve said this, but it’s a LOT. 2020 is the year that “they” are going for broke. They’re all in, and I mean ALL in. The takeover of the US by globalist elites is in full progress. And most people just think this is about a silly Presidential race, how sad. My stance is pretty simple. I believe 100% that Trump won this election in a pretty big way. I believe that the “fix” was in from the get-go with the ballots and the machines to flip it to Biden. It’s a pretty simple...

When asked whether someone who gets vaccinated against the coronavirus and is no longer at risk of serious illness can still spread the virus, Operation Warp Speed Chief Scientific Adviser Dr. Moncef Slaoui said Sunday, “We don’t know.” “After you have been vaccinated -- let's say I get vaccinated. Will I still be able to spread the virus, even if I no longer am at risk of serious illness?” CNN’s Jake Tapper asked. “We don't know the answer to that very important question. I think, given the level of efficacy achieved, that most people will control the virus, to the...

James MartinAs a group of concerned, faithful Catholics representing a significant number of parishes in the Diocese of Syracuse, New York, we felt compelled to write the following letter rebuking Bp. Douglas Lucia in response to his column in the Nov. 5 issue of our diocesan newspaper, The Catholic Sun. In his article, he defended a livestream visit by Fr. James Martin to a local parish to receive an award and give a lengthy talk in which he disparaged Catholic teaching on homosexual relationships. In a...

Woke Capital Isn’t a GameConservatives need to stop treating virtue signaling as if it didn’t matter. This summer corporate American cheered on BLM and Antifa as they burned our cities. Now, Twitter and Facebook openly censor information, while Nasdaq asks the government to sanction their stringent new diversity mandates. These news items hammer out a familiar beat, offering a clear glimpse into our future. It is long past time to get smart on what this phenomenon truly represents. The phrase “woke capitalism” often refers to the way multinational corporations ensure their advertisements reflect the latest woke pieties. It should be defined...

Amid the coronavirus pandemic, outdoor gatherings with a friend or two have replaced the indoor dinner party. Many people have spent Friday night around a backyard fire pit or in lawn chairs parked on a sidewalk, pulling their masks on and off between sips of beer. Is this permitted under California's new stay-at-home order, now in place throughout Southern California and the Central Valley and adopted pre-emptively by six Bay Area jurisdictions — Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Santa Clara, San Francisco and the city of Berkeley? The answer is no, according to the state guidelines. Here's how Santa Clara County...

In a bombshell revelation that has barely registered with the major ‘news’ agencies, voting machines in Georgia have proven the election rig, showing that Biden was given a deliberate ‘advantage.’ Remember those sequestered Dominion voting machines in Georgia? Well, forensic tests have been run on some of them according to GA Rep. Jody Hice, and the findings were that votes did indeed switch from Trump to Biden. Here’s what Rep. Hice said: “Yesterday we learned a forensics examination of a Ware County, GA #DominionVotingSystems machine found votes were switched from @realDonaldTrump to @JoeBiden. This is one machine in one county...

Over the summer, country music icon Dolly Parton shocked a large portion of her fanbase when she expressed her support for Black Lives Matter, which many see as a radically liberal political group that just uses racial issues as a shield to push a far-left progressive agenda upon Americans. “And of course Black Lives Matter,” Parton told Billboard Magazine. “Do we think our little white a–es are the only ones that matter? No!” This was particularly upsetting for many of her fans because Parton had long made it a point to stay politically neutral.

You wouldn’t know it by looking at cable TV ratings, but Fox News has a big problem on its hands. While the conservative news giant enjoyed record Nielsen ratings in November thanks to the presidential election, its dominance is now being tested by Newsmax, a scrappier competitor that’s had fewer reservations about questioning Joe Biden’s victory. That stance has earned the channel praise from Donald Trump, rumors of an acquisition or investment by Trump allies, and a flurry of stories examining Newsmax’s ascent in the TV news pecking order. Most of those stories point out that Newsmax is still well...
