While Joe Biden holds forth from the newly created “Office of the President Elect,” Donald Trump remains president of the United States. The most powerful man in the world commands extensive powers of declassification, and President Trump has good reason to get busy, starting with the Central Intelligence Agency. An unclassified CIA report on the Hiss case provides helpful background. After CIA director John Deutch resigned in 1996, President Clinton nominated his former national security advisor Anthony Lake for the post. On “Meet the Press,” Tim Russert asked Lake, “Do you believe Alger Hiss was a spy?” Lake said...

“Too controversial” to publish? You be the judge. Author's note: This is the full transcript of a radio interview I did with the Danish outlet, DR, about the young reader’s Koran I did drawings for, which was written by Danish writer, Kåre Bluitgen, and titled The Shady Garden. DR told me that they would publish it in their online publication, until some at the outlet decided it was “too controversial” to publish. Well, it was finally published this week, a few months later, after some internal pushback. And the full article discusses the internal conflict that the outlet had over...

What Is Operation Paperback? Operation Paperback is a charity that sends books and magazines to soldiers and their families. This is invaluable for people on the front lines who can’t stream the latest video, aren’t close to a library and are nowhere near a movie theater. For their families, it is a pleasant reminder that the world hasn’t forgotten them and gives them free entertainment. Operation Paperback lets volunteers send books to the VA hospitals, too. Operation Paperback also accepts financial donations to buy books in high demand genres, specifically requested titles and pay for the shipping of these items....

Archbishop Viganò: Under Francis’s leadership, Christ the King has been uncrownedArchbishop Carlo Maria Viganò: 'the so-called “church” of Bergoglio...preaches the blasphemous cult of man and refuses the sovereign rights of God.'December 7, 2020 (LifeSiteNews) – The rich man who feasted in the Gospel parable (Lk 16: 19-31), after being condemned to hell for not having helped the poor man Lazarus, asks Abraham to warn his five brothers about the torments to which he was subjected, in order to prevent them from falling into the same sin. Can you guess where the billions of unreported “donations” come from? Raymond Ibrahim is a Shillman Fellow at the David Horowitz Freedom Center. This article first appeared on the Gatestone Institute A recent governmental report exposes the “purchased” influence foreign nations have on America’s most prestigious universities and, as a result, on what America’s current and upcoming generations of analysts and policymakers think and believe. More than one-third of the nearly $20 billion in foreign donations and contracts made to American universities between just 2014 and 2020 were never disclosed as required by federal law, according to “Institutional Compliance with...

Alejandro Mayorkas, architect of DACA, picked by Biden to head DHS. On May 5, 2005 the House Subcommittee on Immigration, Border Security and Claims conducted a hearing on the topic, New ''Dual Missions'' Of The Immigration Enforcement Agencies. I was one of the four witnesses who testified at that hearing. One paragraph in particular from Chairman Hostettler’s statement at that hearing back then, is of particular significance today, as we consider what will happen if Joe Biden is sworn in as President of the United States: The 9/11 terrorists all came to the United States without weapons or contraband—Added customs...

If you needed any more evidence that the COVID-19 lockdowns are part of an authoritarian plan, here it is. When California Governor Gavin Newsom set his 85% ICU capacity “trigger” to automatically start a new round of totalitarian lockdowns, he had zero doubt the number would be reached in December. How? Because that number is reached EVERY December. Knowing this, why wouldn’t he prepare by assisting hospitals across his state to increase ICU capacity? The answer is obvious. He wanted the lockdowns. They’ve always been part of his plan, a plan that likely comes on orders from higher radical leftist...

Historians of the future will look back on the pandemic of 2020 as the occasion for one of this country’s worst unforced errors ever. The policies that the blue state mayors and governors of our most populous cities and states enacted were equal parts hysteria and politics, all the while they were touted as “following the science.” The lives of millions have been damaged, the economy willfully stalled, and a presidential campaign tainted with electoral fraud. No enemy could have dreamed up a more insidious and devastating attack than those policies and their consequences, the ramifications of which will last...

Hi folks,I have been reading here for a very long time, but only recently registered an account. Since registering, I have done my best to take the oft-repeated admonishment to search before posting so that I am not one of the dunderheads who posts the same news five times (I am a dunderhead for other reasons). However, I do not seem to understand how the search function works, and I must say, I feel pretty stupid admitting this. For example:Yesterday, I searched on the name "staten" looking for articles about the bar owner who hit a sheriff's deputy on Staten...

MARSHFIELD, Wis. (WAOW) -- Residents of Woodland Village apartments were evacuated for 7 hours yesterday, as the Marathon County bomb squad searched the building for the second time this week. Officials first searched the residence on Thursday, during which multiple explosive devices were found. Saturday's search was prompted when the property manager of the apartment complex alerted Marshfield PD that the man also held an on site storage facility. There they found five more explosives, described as pipe bombs. The FBI was asked for assistance on the second visit, because the Marathon County bomb squad "ran out of space" in...

Today’s Scripture: Romans 11:35 “Who has given a gift to him that he might be repaid?” Every aspect of our ministry is by the grace of God. We’re unworthy to minister, but God considers us worthy through Christ. We’re inadequate to minister, but God makes us adequate through the powerful working of his Holy Spirit. We’re not naturally given to self-sacrifice, but God gives us that spirit by his grace. All is of grace. No human worthiness or adequacy is required or accepted. Such a strong, biblical emphasis on God’s grace apart from human worth or adequacy leads to the...

LEXINGTON, Va. - - The Virginia Military Institute began work Monday to remove a prominent statue of Confederate Gen. Thomas “Stonewall” Jackson, an effort initiated this fall after allegations of systemic racism roiled the school. A crew was inspecting the statue at the public military college in Lexington, poised to haul away the statue of Jackson that some cadets were required to salute until several years ago. VMI’s board voted to remove the statue in late October after The Washington Post published a story that described an “atmosphere of hostility and cultural insensitivity” at VMI. The piece detailed incidents such...

WASHINGTON - U.S. environmental groups that poured money and effort behind Democrat Joe Biden’s successful run for president are shifting to a new more adversarial role now that he has been elected, launching a pressure campaign to make sure he delivers on his promises to fight climate change. The dynamic reflects a return to influence for environmental advocacy groups after four years in which they were shut out by the administration of President Donald Trump, a climate skeptic who crafted policies to maximize U.S. fossil fuel development with the help of industry. While Biden united a range of groups from...
