Joe Biden made clear he wants to put the old gang back together when he announced his prospective national security team this past week including the likes of John Kerry, Tony Blinken and Jake Sullivan. They represent the worst instincts and outcomes of the Obama Administration’s foreign policy of promoting endless wars while undermining allies and placating adversaries that the Trump Administration had to clean up. How do I know? I served as the Senior White House Advisor at the U.S. Department of State in the Trump administration, cleaning up the mess that the Obama-Biden administration left behind. While the...

One of President Donald Trump's earliest and most controversial moves was a travel ban on people from certain nations he said were deemed a security threat to the US. Joe Biden has promised this will be one of the first policies he reverses. The ban - which now applies to 13 countries - has survived many legal challenges, but for some families it has meant years of separation. We have ample warning of what the radical left will do to us should it prevail in today's power struggle. Leftists have boldly announced it. They will trash our past; indoctrinate our children; and invite millions of noncitizens, who have no regard for our values, to vote. They will wreck our economy with predictably disastrous regulations in the name of saving the planet. Our enemies, correctly sensing weakness, will go to war against our national interests. Finally, the system will be rigged so there will never be another honest election. Having seized power, the left will never relinquish it without...

There are three ‘must pass’ bills in the lame duck session of Congress that are going to be addressed one way or the other, yet Congress can’t help themselves by loading up these bills with pet projects and special interest requests. These are the days when Congress acts behind closed doors and without public input. The leadership of both parties loves this time, because they can insert pet provisions in massive bills, then dare opponents to take the whole bill down if they don’t like it. The final versions of these bills will not go through any committee hearings, markups...

Fulton County Commission Chairman Robb Pitts gave a full-throated rebuttal to comments earlier Tuesday from Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger criticizing Fulton County Elections "I can tell you beyond a shadow of a doubt that within Fulton County, Georgia, there was no hanky panky whatsoever with respect to the recent election," Chairman Pitts said. "I challenge anyone from the president of the united states, his office representatives, secretary of state of state of Georgia’s office to come forward with any proof they have that would contradict what I’m saying. I’ve said before and I’ll say again here today as loudly...

Health care workers and first responders are the heroes of the pandemic, but right behind them are the bold business owners defying dictatorial governors such as California's Gavin Newsom and New York's Andrew Cuomo. Like the owners of Mac's Public House on Staten Island, who refuse to be put out of business. They're standing up for your rights as well as their own. Since last March, governors have shuttered restaurants, gyms and other businesses, destroying what owners have built and putting employees out of work. Yet, when these governors go on television to brief the public, they only talk about...

While we should certainly give the doctors and nurses on the front lines heroically treating COVID patients their just due, there’s another, albeit unsung, brand of COVID-hero. They are the reporters, the data hounds, the fact-checkers, the politicians, and especially the medical professionals who all put their reputations on the line to tell the truth about COVID-19 and the destructive, irrational response to it from governments around the world. While nobody’s perfect and this virus has at times made fools of us all, there’s no doubt that ‘Team Reality’ has been correct far more than the powers-that-be, and ongoing trends...

Under normal circumstances, Donald Trump’s loss in the 2020 election would have brought to a blissful end his time to nominate judges. But having ignored Senate norms for nearly four years in office, neither he nor Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is prepared to start respecting them now. Traditionally, the Senate does not confirm judges during the lame-duck period between a presidential election and when the new president and new Congress are seated in January. It’s been that way for 123 years. McConnell doesn’t care, though. He bragged to conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt in October that he would “run...

The Democrats were tremendously disappointed with the election results. President Donald Trump is losing by almost exactly the 51 percent to 47 percent margin that Mitt Romney lost to then-President Barack Obama in 2012. The Senate is poised to stay in GOP hands, and the Republicans look to slice the Democratic House majority to about 10 seats. Instead of licking wounds, some are asserting that somehow, Democrats are still the stronger party with all the historical momentum. Washington Post columnist E.J. Dionne Jr. wrote, "Democrats are a big-tent party, while Republicans are a closed circle." Dionne claimed, "For more than...

Federal authorities in Seattle on Monday charged two women with a terrorist attack on train tracks, suggesting they were working with an anarchist community to stand in solidarity with a Native American tribe to oppose the construction of a natural gas pipeline across the Canadian province of British Columbia by trying to derail trains in Washington state.Samantha Frances Brooks, 27, and Ellen Brennan Reiche, 23, were arrested Saturday night in Bellingham, located in Whatcom County, which borders Canada, as they allegedly placed “shunts” on Burlington Northern Santa Fe tracks, according to a complaint filed by the U.S. Attorney’s Office in...

Many of us will give money to charity this month. Americans give more than any other people in the world. Good for us. 56 years ago, because American charities hadn't ended poverty, politicians said they would end it. They declared a "war on poverty." That "war," so far, has cost $27 trillion. Some people were helped. But the handouts also had a bad effect. My new video shows a moving graph of America's poverty rate. It reveals that before the War on Poverty began, Americans had been steadily lifting themselves out of poverty. Year by year, the number of families...

Former president Barack Obama has criticized the usage of the 'defund the police' slogan and warns that the 'white population' is fearful that the 'African American community' will get out of control with police reform. Obama made the remarks in two separate interviews, one with CNN analyst April Ryan and the other for a segment on Peter Hamby's Snapchat show Good Luck America. The interview with Hamby is set to air Wednesday morning and shows Obama telling the host that 'snappy' slogans like 'defund the police' can alienate people. 'You lost a big audience the minute you say it, which...

A West Virginia man who was convicted in the rape of an 11-year-old girl who was forced to abort her unborn baby will be released on probation this fall, according to court documents. WCHS Eyewitness News reports a Cabell County judge issued a jail release order to Michael J. Adkins, 38, of Ona, on Tuesday. Adkins will serve probation and be confined to his home, according to the report. Adkins initially was arrested in 2014 on rape charges after authorities said he abused and impregnated his 11-year-old daughter and then forced her to have an abortion; the girl’s stepmother, Amanda...

New Civil War I believe Trump will win this election battle and his next of his four years will be like the American Civil War (1860-1864). It will be four years of Trump waging Civil War II mostly against big business, Big Tech (Facebook, Google, Twitter, etc.), the deep state and the mainstream media. It will not be typically a battle involving geography, as North vs. South in the first Civil War (despite the idea of coastal vs. flyover territory). It will be a battle mostly fought in the courts. It will be a battle to preserve the intuitions that...

Seventy-eight years to the day since his heroic actions in World War II, Ordinary Seaman Edward 'Teddy' Sheean has become the first Navy crew member to be awarded Australia's highest military honour, the Victoria Cross. In an investiture ceremony in Canberra on Tuesday, Ordinary Seaman Sheean was being honoured for his "remarkable gallantry, sacrifice and the significance of his actions to modern Australia". In December 1942, the 18-year-old defied orders to abandon the rapidly-sinking HMAS Armidale off the coast of East Timor, which was under heavy attack by Japanese aircraft, and instead strapped himself to the ship's anti-aircraft gun and...

The United States Supreme Court rebuked Democrat New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo for lockdowns imposed on houses of worship, but Democrat California Gov. Gavin Newsom is ignoring the high court’s lifting of restrictions in New York and is doubling down on his coronavirus lockdowns on religious gatherings. Newsom has informed the court that his actions are justified by the increase in virus cases and the “perils” of indoor gatherings where people sing or chant. “California is experiencing an unprecedented surge in COVID-19 cases, creating an even greater public health need for restrictions on prolonged communal gatherings in indoor places,” California...
