President Donald Trump is doing exactly what he promised his supporters he would do by fighting for every possible legal way to win the election. His opponents — the media, Democrats, Never Trump — say that Trump is living down to their worst expectations of him, that by refusing to accept defeat he is vindicating their hatred of him. They are right about only one thing: this is the same Donald Trump we knew all along, and his tenacity is how he became an extraordinary president.

This particular case involved claims that seven Pennsylvania counties and the Secretary of the Commonwealth inappropriately allowed voters who submitted defective mail-in ballots to “cure” the defect by voting a provisional ballot on election day. The issues in the case involve whether such a “curing” process is allowable under Pennsylvania law, and whether the actions by the counties and the Secretary of the Commonwealth caused an “injury” to the Plaintiffs by expanding the opportunity for registered voters to cast their ballots. This case was always going to end up in a dismissal based on a lack of standing on the...

How is it that the NFL has been able to keep its jet-setting roster of thousands of athletes, coaches, and staff largely COVID-free, while religiously testing these employees for COVID-19, while the rest of America registers some 40,000 new reported “cases” each day? Hint: It has nothing to do with masks, Andy Reid’s face shields, or some type of collective, incredibly responsible human behavior exhibited by men in their twenties and thirties. The NFL has set a science-based standard for COVID-19 testing, one that our schools, universities, local governments, and other institutions with sufficient resources can learn a lot from....

Analysts no longer consider Ohio to be a swing state, as its “blue wall” was breached in 2016 by then presidential candidate Donald Trump, as well as many other Republican candidates down-ballot, and has remained so in the 2020 election. “It’s way off from being the swing state it was several decades ago,” said NBC News contributor David Wasserman, adding that he believes Ohio is no longer a bellwether state that predicts the outcome of a presidential election, reported NBC News. If Joe Biden takes office in January, the former vice president will be the first candidate to win a...

On Thursday's The 11th Hour, MSNBC host Brian Williams showed his contempt for Republicans by giving free air time to an ad by the Lincoln Project attacking several Republicans who are expected to run for President in 2024. Introducing the ad, Williams declared that those Republicans had "sold their souls" in supporting President Donald Trump, and the ad derided them as "traitors" to the country, and as being "weak, spineless, cowardly, corrupt." Closing out his show shortly before midnight Eastern, Williams talked up the Lincoln Project, which is made up of a group of disaffected former Republicans lashing out at...

Drivers caravaned from around Oregon to the Capitol in Salem Saturday, calling on Gov. Kate Brown to “stop the pause” regarding restrictions spurred by COVID-19. More than 100 people, most of whom were not wearing masks, gathered on the plaza across Court Street from the Capitol in the afternoon. In 41-degree weather and with hot coffee in hand, attendees held signs with phrases such as, “Mask = Muzzle,” “Stuff your mandate” and “We will not comply.” Some held American, Trump or “Don’t tread on me” flags on either side of the street as cars drove by. “The government ... can’t...

As officials in Nevada’s most populous counties certified results of the Nov. 3 election, President Donald Trump took to Twitter with a new attack on the vote that gave Democratic candidate Joe Biden a 33,596-vote statewide victory. A state court legal fight to stop counting mail ballots in the Las Vegas area ended last week, after the state high court dismissed an appeal by the Trump campaign and state GOP, at their request. That left two active legal cases in Nevada relating to the 2020 presidential election. But now another voter fraud allegation came from Nevada. More votes were cast...

Joe Biden wants us to believe he will be an “American president” who will serve everyone. But the truth is that a Biden presidency will leave unheard and unacknowledged the voices of America’s preborn. Since Roe v. Wade, abortion has killed more than 60 million babies. Thousands of preborn lives are aborted in America each and every day, with abortion accounting for one out of every three deaths in the United States. Biden can talk all he wants about unifying America, healing our divisions, and representing every American, but if he truly wants to serve all Americans, he should take...

We are marking a great American anniversary this month. In November 1620 a battered old ship called the Mayflower arrived in the waters off Cape Cod in what is now the state of Massachusetts. The passengers aboard the Mayflower were our nation’s first founders — or, as Daniel Webster called them, “Our Pilgrim Fathers.” Webster delivered a speech to honor these Pilgrims on the 200th anniversary of the Mayflower’s arrival. Calvin Coolidge, then-governor of Massachusetts and president-elect, delivered an address on the 300th anniversary. Regrettably, we haven’t heard much about this year’s anniversary because the Pilgrims have fallen out of...

President Donald Trump railed against the Paris climate accord on Sunday, telling world leaders at a virtual summit that the agreement was designed to cripple the U.S. economy, not save the planet.“To protect American workers, I withdrew the United States from the unfair and one-sided Paris climate accord, a very unfair act for the United States,” Trump said in a video statement from the White House to the Group of 20 summit hosted by Saudi Arabia. His comments came during a discussion among the world's largest economies on safeguarding the Earth.

The Old Testament book of Jeremiah tells the story of Judah, a suffering nation haunted by disobedience, corruption and godlessness. Unfortunately, it’s not difficult to see the resemblance between today’s America and ancient Judah. We read in Jeremiah 2:8, “The priests did not say, ‘Where is the Lord?’ Those who handle the law did not know me; the shepherds transgressed against me; the prophets prophesied by Baal and went after things that do not profit” (ESV). The spiritual breakdown of Judah began with its religious leaders and lawmakers. Jeremiah’s observation that corrupt leadership infects the entire nation like a moral...

Russian President Vladimir Putin said he’s ready to work with any U.S. leader, but still isn’t ready to recognize the election victory of Joe Biden.“We will work with anyone who has the confidence of the American people,” Putin said on Russian state TV Sunday. “But that confidence can only be given to a candidate whose victory has been recognized by the opposing party, or after the results are confirmed in a legitimate, legal way.”

Editor's Note: This column was co-authored by Jim McCoy.In Part 1 we detailed the myriad reasons why conservatives have felt so anxious after the 2020 election. Much of it was tied to the sharply contrasting values of conservatives and progressives. Here we wish to lay out a road map for conservative ascendency in American politics. The fact is that we were snookered in the 2020 election because of our beliefs that truth and goodness would prevail; in some cases, it did but mostly it didn’t. Here is how we win back these values.Conservatives should withdraw complete support from all news...

WASHINGTON, Wednesday, Nov. 21. The policy of the Administration, in the event of secession, was again discussed in the Cabinet yesterday, but the want of harmony in the opinions of those present precluded any result being arrived at. It is thought that the Administration will not favor a Convention of the Southern States. It is feared that questions as yet not agitated would arise for discussion, and overshadow those involved at the beginning. It is believed, however, that the Northern States will promptly repeal their obnoxious legislation, nullifying the Fugitive Slave act, and will meet the Southern delegates in Congress...

Two members of the ‘Squad’ called for Lindsey Graham’s resignation following Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger’s (R) allegations that the Senator encouraged him to toss out legal ballots. Graham disputes the characterization of the conversation with Raffensperger. For his part, Lindsey Graham laughed off the Squad’s suggestion that he must resign. The Republican Senator shared screenshots of their tweets and wrote, “I must be doing something right when the most radical liberal politicians and media pundits in America are calling for my resignation!” Added Graham, “I will continue to try to find common ground where possible, but will not...

SALT LAKE CITY -- A Utah-based coffee company says it will end its sponsorship of a Blaze Media podcast after the host shared a photo of Kyle Rittenhouse wearing a T-shirt with the company's logo, according to a report from The Salt Lake Tribune. Elijah Schaffer, a reporter at Blaze Media, tweeted a since-removed photo of the 17-year-old wearing a Black Rifle Coffee Company shirt with the caption, “Kyle Rittenhouse drinks the best coffee in America.” The teenager, accused of killing two people during protests in Wisconsin in August, was released Friday after supporters raised his $2 million bail.
