Joseph Stalin To Receive International Emmy For His Outstanding Hunger Relief Efforts

NEW YORK CITY, NY—The 2020 International Emmy Awards have announced their nominees for their hotly anticipated and highly credible award ceremony this year. In addition to giving New York Governor Andrew Cuomo a leadership award for his excellent pandemic leadership and skill in not killing thousands of innocent nursing home residents, the organization has also announced another recipient: Joseph Stalin.

According to sources, Stalin will receive a posthumous award for his outstanding hunger relief efforts. In addition, he will be honored for his masterful skill in crafting a narrative that caused even the imprisoned victims of his regime to sing his praises.

"We can't exactly say that Stalin's hunger relief efforts were totally successful, but he really did try," said International Academy President & CEO, Bruce L. Paisner. "Stalin was a master at crafting a narrative. People tuned in to hear his words of wisdom, even as he starved them to death. That's a skill worthy of honor."

If Stalin were alive they probably would give him an award.

There’s a scene in a Woody Allen movie where he says they give out awards for everything in Hollwyood.

“Greatest fascist dictator, adolph hitler” he says

It was funny but in today’s world, nothing is impossible and things that were once funny AND insane are now considered normal.

LOL! And they did give an award to Hitler, Time magazine named him man of the year and when they gave the same award to Trump they tried to portray him as Hitler but also put devil horns above his head.

Apparently the answer is 'fall together'...

Father Stalin, look at this
Collective farming is just bliss
The hut’s in ruins, the barn’s all sagged
All the horses broken nags
And on the hut a hammer and sickle
And in the hut death and famine
No cows left, no pigs at all
Just your picture on the wall
Daddy and mummy are in the kolkhoz
The poor child cries as alone he goes
There’s no bread and there’s no fat
the Party’s ended all of that
Seek not the gentle nor the mild
A father’s eaten his own child
The Party man he beats and stamps
And sends us to Siberian camps.

How Joseph Stalin Starved Millions in the Ukrainian Famine

"Cruel efforts under Stalin to impose collectivism and tamp down Ukrainian nationalism left an estimated 3.9 million dead."

There is a movie about Stalin’s food “delivery” efforts.
Called Bitter Harvest. It is probably still available on stream? See it, it is very good.
Based on real story, it is the worst horror movie, I have ever seen. Most dead bodies in a movie ever. Trainloads of deads. The hero escape on train wagon full of dead bodies almost made me throw up.
All ordered by Stalin.

Robert Conquest, the British historian who is considered by many the authority on the subject has the death toll at 7 million.

Stalin was a monster.

Stalin has also been nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize for his treatment of the Kulaks. Sleepy Joe and Kamala, the village bike, were mighty impressed.

The Irish famine wasn't pretty either. I hold the Brits responsible for 1.5 million deaths there.

The Irish population collapsed from deaths and migration.

The population of Ireland today is still less than it was in 1840.

There were starvations all over the world, all over the history. Bad harvests often resulted in starvation epidemics.
The Stalin era starvation was special, because it was artificial. There were plenty of food available. Stalin used hunger to punish the population. He forcibly confiscated the food, wasted it, assigned it to desirables and even exported it.
I do not believe English confiscated and exported potatoes out of Ireland!

Stalin was a piker.

Mao Tse-tung’s “Great Leap Forward” caused any where from 15M-50M famine dead.
