How is it that the NFL has been able to keep its jet-setting roster of thousands of athletes, coaches, and staff largely COVID-free, while religiously testing these employees for COVID-19, while the rest of America registers some 40,000 new reported “cases” each day?
Hint: It has nothing to do with masks, Andy Reid’s face shields, or some type of collective, incredibly responsible human behavior exhibited by men in their twenties and thirties.
The NFL has set a science-based standard for COVID-19 testing, one that our schools, universities, local governments, and other institutions with sufficient resources can learn a lot from. At the same time, the league has unintentionally added evidence to the reality of a massive, ongoing false positive “casedemic” in the United States.
The NFL is keeping its players on the field by quietly sticking to the science (and I suspect other major sports are following a similar protocol). No, not “THE SCIENCE!” espoused by hysterical government bureaucrats and pandemic panic salesmen on television. Real science. The kind of science that is defined through experiments, observation, and experience.
Before we get there, here’s the reality about COVID-19 testing in the United States and around the world:
The vast majority of COVID-19 tests don’t work, in the sense that they don’t accurately determine anything. That is because most PCR tests (which is the vast majority testing method in the United States and abroad) are calibrated with way too much sensitivity (known as having too high of a cycle threshold), and they identify an astonishingly high number of false positives.

I’ve come to the conclusion that *positive cases* and *asymptomatic* mean false positives and the person does not have an active infection that is contagious.
Gotta keep the fear narrative going to control the populace.
I will continue to post this until I see it reported in the NY Times, WaPo, and on NBC, and CNN

There is an element here of the show must go on. No need for playoffs. Just finish the regular season and call it even.
It’s made the rounds via online Penn State football forums that 45 positive PCR tests among football players have been found to be false positives when a more accurate test is performed. What’s still unclear is how many initial positives were confirmed, but players absent due to COVID hasn’t been a factor so one must assume there have been very few. Seems to support this story.

If the pandemic is as serious as they would have us believe.. and indeed new cases are far higher now than a few weeks again and no signs of slowing down...
why doesn’t the NFL and pro sports just “pause operations” for a while.. maybe a year or two ... until the vaccines are distributed and things are safer?
Literally, is it worth it to kill thousands more Americans just so a few fans can watch a bunch of millionaire athletes play a kids’ game?
Oh no. They need playoffs. And the Superbowl. Heck that’s why their emergency plan is MORE playoffs.

So if anyone happened to see the Patriots vs Ravens game last week, it was the most miserable weather....freezing rain, high winds, nobody could see, players slipping all over the field....the kind of weather you could catch pneumonia in, if you were stupid enough to stay outside and play any kind of sports......but there was Bill Belichick and Cam Newton, standing on the sidelines, soaking wet, wearing masks, as if being maskless in that horrible weather was the only thing that might make them sick!
And miss out on $14 billion in revenue? Not happening.
OAN did a report this weekend on this sh*t show and how it could have been contained and treated 8 month’s ago without shutting down the Country. 10s of thousands of these deaths were mis-diagnosed according to the report.
Who cares? NFL is dead. They’ll soon realize this.

That speaks for itself...can’t add much to the stupidity...except I saw some idiot JOGGING,,,FAST wearing a mask. Only thing I can figure is that he’s one of those guys who gets off on being choked!
Let’s see: The Dallas QB makes $35 million and he’s out. The replacement makes 1 or 2 million(chump change) and all they can do is pray-too late. The 49ers should be in the Super Bowl mix and half their players are injured. Throw in a blown ref call at a critical moment and it’s just not worth it anymore to get emotionally involved with your team. If I was an owner I’d be worried about the future as well as the rap sheet of my players.
