Joy Reid continued touting her hatred for half the country during Wednesday night's election coverage on MSNBC. Despairing over how tight the presidential race has been, she complained how “aggravating” the “red mirage” was and how “disappointed” she was that racist Trump voters didn’t get their comeuppance with a Biden blowout on election night. Fellow MSNBC host Rachel Maddow was telling Reid how "fraught" Tuesday night was not knowing the results. Reid agreed, blaming the media's angst on the "aggravating" "red mirage." She was disappointed to see how the media's four years-plus long campaign against the President didn't result in...

The Trump campaign is celebrating what they call a major "election integrity" legal victory in Pennsylvania, which came down Thursday morning. "In a major victory for election integrity, election transparency, all Pennsylvania voters, and the rule of law, the Trump Campaign has prevailed in our suit challenging our Republican poll watchers’ complete lack of any meaningful access to the ballot processing and counting process," Trump 2020 Deputy Campaign Manger and Senior Counsel Justin Clark released in a statement. "The eyes of the country are on Pennsylvania, but Pennsylvania Democrats, led by their radical left Secretary of State whose only goal...

Jimmy Stewart: Look! There it is! Eugene Pallette: What? Who? Jimmy Stewart: The Capitol Dome! https://youtu.be/17MyPrAEQ28 That three second scene from Frank Capra's movie, Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, encapsulates the way you and I feel about America. I guess we learned our patriotism at Mr. Smith's knee. Now, some people go through life "all wised up" as Jean Arthur says in the movie. Cynical. Gritty. They're the ones who growl, "America was never great" and are keen to destroy the glow of glory surrounding our national heroes by telling us how bad they really were. What a sad way...

Looking out the windows today, the skies are blue, but it's eerily quiet. In Washington, D.C., where I live, businesses have boarded up their windows in preparation for violent protests. Anxiety and trepidation hang in the air. It's almost palpable. There has been so much tension in the run-up to our recent election. But I remain hopeful. This has been a year unlike any other. We have seen unrest and conflict in America at a level that most of us have never experienced. Between the uncertainty and devastation brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic, violence in the streets leading to...

Can some enterprising person pull up some time lapse graphs of the votes in Michigan and WI for that crucial 4-5 am period where over 130,000 votes all for Biden came in. I'm wondering if similar vote totals for other local races all got a bump or was it just the presidential vote that saw the jump. It would include senate, congress, and state legislature races. I'd like to see a forensic analysis of where those 130K people voted on the other races (if they voted for other races at all).

MSNBC “Morning Joe” host Joe Scarborough on Thursday called on Republicans and Democrats to “take a deep breath” and come together. After highlighting how divided the United States has been recently, Scarborough urged Americans to “move forward” and “stop obsessing so much over politics.”

It would be mystifying if Republicans won more seats in the House, retained the Senate, and picked up state legislative seats, all while the same voters voted against Trump. Since Joe Biden was picked to be the Democratic Party’s presidential puppet, we have been told he would win the presidency by a blowout. Political media has been speculating eagerly about another “blue wave” that would wash over the nation in line with their preposterous polls showing Biden winning by as much as 17 or even more points.

Republicans can now boast of having the youngest member of Congress following the victory of Madison Cawthorn in North Carolina’s 11th Congressional District Tuesday night. Cawthorn, at the age of 25, defeated Democrat Moe Davis, a retired Air Force Colonel who served as a prosecutor at Guantanamo Bay. The young Republican beat Davis by a 12-point margin. The Constitution lays out the age of 25 as a minimum for those seeking a seat in the House of Representatives. Cawthorn is almost a full four years younger than the next youngest member of Congress – 29-year-old Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY).

Speaking to reporters on a phone call Thursday morning, Trump campaign manager Bill Stepien remained confident President Trump will ultimately be victorious against former Vice President Joe Biden. Vote counts continue to be razor thin in swing states across the country. "Donald Trump is alive and well," Stepien said, adding that Trump has always been underestimated. "We are in this fight and we're going to stay in it," Deputy Campaign Manager Justin Clark added. In Pennsylvania, Stepien touted a legal ruling that allows Republican poll watchers to be closer to counting tables in order to observe election workers in Philadelphia."We're going to...

The U.S. Supreme Court heard arguments Wednesday in a religious freedom case on whether the city of Philadelphia acted unlawfully when it stopped placing foster children with a Catholic foster agency because it does not certify same-sex foster parents. The nation’s high court heard arguments on behalf of two Philadelphia area foster mothers who are seeking to reverse the decision by the city government, which no longer places foster children in the homes of parents who partner with Catholic Social Services of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.
