Republicans can now boast of having the youngest member of Congress following the victory of Madison Cawthorn in North Carolina’s 11th Congressional District Tuesday night.
Cawthorn, at the age of 25, defeated Democrat Moe Davis, a retired Air Force Colonel who served as a prosecutor at Guantanamo Bay.
The young Republican beat Davis by a 12-point margin.
The Constitution lays out the age of 25 as a minimum for those seeking a seat in the House of Representatives.
Cawthorn is almost a full four years younger than the next youngest member of Congress – 29-year-old Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY).

Politico did a profile/hit piece. Called him “Trump’s Golden Boy” and par for the course says he was no shoo-in - before he beat his opponent by 12%

Thank GOD he beat Moe Davis! Guy went off the rails when he took over Gitmo defense. Too bad, he was a great trial lawyer.
