The attacks on Barrett fail to identify the 'abortion restrictions' at issue and purposely so, to create the impression she is an extremist. Even before President Trump officially named Amy Coney Barrett as his nominee to the Supreme Court, the left began assailing the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals judge and Notre Dame Law School professor. The vilest attacks involved the mother-of-sevenÂ’s two adopted children. Those attempting to scuttle BarrettÂ’s confirmation by questioning the circumstances of those adoptions will soon be silenced, however, by more savvy leftists who recognize the risk of backlash is too great. Instead, the more mainstream...

I’ll be the first to admit, Pro-Gun people can be some of the most pedantic, hard-nosed overzealous, defensive people you'll ever meet. It’s hard for us to watch an action movie without critiquing every part of every gun used in every scene. It's hard for us to have a conversation about guns with someone who doesn’t know much about guns without DMX barking about how a magazine is not called a clip.

A state appeals court in Pennsylvania declared the federal law that protects gun manufacturers from certain lawsuits unconstitutional on Monday in a victory for gun-control proponents that would allow the family of a 13-year-old boy who died in a 2016 shooting accident to move forward with a lawsuit against Springfield Arms and Saloom Department Store. The boy, J.R. Gustafson, and his 14-year-old friend in a private home in 2016 obtained a gun that was in the home, which was manufactured by Springfield and sold by the department store. The friend removed the clip from the gun and believed it to...

Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden is receiving significantly more favorable coverage on NBC, ABC and CBS’ evening newscasts than Hillary Clinton got four years ago, and President Trump is covered more negatively than either of them, according to a new study. The Media Research Center reviewed all “NBC Nightly News,” ABC’s “World News Tonight” and CBS’ “Evening News” coverage of President Trump and Democratic nominee Joe Biden from Aug. 1 through Sept. 15, comparing the findings to coverage from the same time frame in 2016. “Four years ago, the liberal networks pounded Republican nominee Donald Trump with bad press, yet...

President Donald Trump's campaign wanted a third-party to inspect Democrat Joe Biden's ear at Tuesday night's presidential debate to ensure he wasn't wearing an earpiece, it was revealed hours before the event. The demand for a 'third party' earpiece inspection emerged after Trump's personal lawyer, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, going on 'Fox & Friends' and accusing the 77-year-old Biden of suffering 'dementia.' Fox News Channel reported the request Tuesday morning as more details surfaced about the negotiations the two campaigns are having with the Commission on Presidential Debates. Biden's team did not agree to the demand, the...

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif) advised Republicans "to disassociate themselves from the Trump Administration lest they go down with the ship. The whole world is against Trump. He can't survive the November elections. Members of his Party who resign now may be spared the wrath that awaits Trump bitter-enders next January. As I see it, their basic choice is resignation now or incarceration later." Schiff dismissed Trump's concerns about vote irregularities, saying that "irregularities have been part of the process since the beginning of elections in this country. If Trump had been in politics as long as...

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) — Kentucky’s attorney general has acknowledged that he never asked the grand jury to consider homicide charges against police in the killing of Breonna Taylor. Amid outrage over the long-awaited charging decision, Attorney General Daniel Cameron said he would agree with a judge’s order to make public a recording of the proceedings, and that he wouldn’t object if members of the panel want to speak publicly about their grand jury experience. In his statement Monday night, Cameron also revealed that the only charge he recommended to the jury was wanton endangerment. He had previously declined to provide...

To reinforce the principles that strengthen our military, the Trump administration should vigorously enforce prohibitions on critical race theory programs. Imagine this: Army base streets or Navy ship decks are painted with tributes to Black Lives Matter, a movement whose lead organization self-identifies as Marxist. At the Army-Navy game, players take a knee instead of saluting the flag. Military officers are denied promotions if they do not fit percentage-based sex and race quotas. And, to meet “New Woke World” expectations, some promotable officers organize book clubs for subordinates to study best-sellers like “White Fragility.”Oh, wait — Navy Captain Hallock Mohler,...

Cyclists searching for stolen bikes in Denver's homeless camps Cyclists turn to social media to find bikes By: Jaclyn AllenSep 28, 2020 DENVER -- A homeless camp or a bicycle chop shop? In Denver, they can certainly at least appear to be one and the same. So many bikes have been stolen across the city, some people -- encouraged on social media -- are now going from camp to camp looking for their property. "I would rather have my car stolen than this," said Carter Haun, pointing to his custom mountain bike. "It would be easier to get another car."...

What To Know About Amy Coney Barrett Amy Coney Barrett is my neighbor and friend. This fact, along with my complete lack of familiarity or expertise in her scholarly and judicial work, gives me no special insight into how she will adjudicate as a justice of the Supreme Court, assuming she is confirmed by the Senate. But neither does anyone else know how she will adjudicate—quite possibly, not even Judge Barrett herself. The fact is, even her closest friends, and experts with the most advanced knowledge of her legal and judicial writings, have no special insight into how she will...

The Trump campaign said Democrat Joseph R. Biden refused their request to have a third party inspect his ears for electronic devices prior to Tuesday night’s first presidential debate. “Joe Biden’s handlers several days ago agreed to a pre-debate inspection for electronic earpieces but today abruptly reversed themselves and declined,” said Trump campaign communications director Tim Murtaugh. He also said Mr. Biden’s handlers asked for “multiple breaks during the debate, which Mr. Trump doesn’t need.

Yet another advantage sought in fear of Biden performing poorly? Presidential candidate Joe Biden has been given tonight’s debate questions in advance, according to radio host Todd Starnes. “Word on the street is that @JoeBiden got tonight’s debate questions in advance” tweeted Starnes, citing radio station KXEL 1540. ... If true, this wouldn’t be the first instance of questions being provided to a Democratic candidate before a crucial debate. In 2017, Democratic operative Donna Brazile admitted that she had exploited her role as a CNN commentator to feed debate questions to Hillary Clinton beforehand. ... This happened in 2016.. Democrats...

A team of NASA researchers seeking a new energy source for deep-space exploration missions, recently revealed a method for triggering nuclear fusion in the space between the atoms of a metal solid. Their research was published in two peer-reviewed papers in the top journal in the field, Physical Review C, Volume 101 (April, 2020): “Nuclear fusion reactions in deuterated metals” and “Novel nuclear reactions observed in bremsstrahlung-irradiated deuterated metals.”

No Coup For You Democrats are preparing to win by any means necessary. What’s the Right going to do about it? Michael Anton’s warning about the upcoming election, “The Coming Coup,” continues to roil the public square. Will Republican leaders do their best to prepare for the crisis of legitimacy—caused purposefully by Democrat Party changes to our normal voting procedures—that now almost surely awaits us for weeks after November 3? We hope so.But note well: for all the controversy it has caused, no one on the Left has yet tried to refute Anton’s article, point by point. Instead, slime continues...

Citing a "reprisal" by the Indian government against its human rights work, Amnesty International said Tuesday that it has been forced to lay off staff and halt operations in India. In a statement, the watchdog accused India's Hindu nationalist government of "an incessant witch-hunt" against human rights organizations that have revealed wrongdoing by Indian authorities in recent years. Amnesty's latest investigations in India have focused on alleged human rights abuses in India's only Muslim-majority region, Kashmir, as well as on alleged misconduct by Indian police in last February's Delhi riots that killed dozens of mostly Muslim civilians. The group said...

Two affidavits were filed in the Texas Supreme Court against Texas Sen. Boris Miles and Harris County Commissioner Rodney Ellis, allegedly for illegal mail-ballot harvesting. Biden’s campaign official Dallas Jones is reportedly helping with the massive scheme. Following this issue, the Harris County Republican Party, chaired by Dr. Stephen Hotze and Sharon Hemphill, requested the state’s highest court earlier this week, as reported by Texas Scorecard, to halt the state’s earlier plans to send mail-in ballot applications to 2.37 million voters registered in the country, while the investigation is ongoing. Texas Scorecard reports: “We are thankful that the Texas Supreme...
