“Work Out Your Own Salvation?” (Philippians 2:1-18) Last Sunday we began a series of four straight weeks with readings from Paul’s Letter to the Philippians. Towards Another Bloodshed in CanadaÂ’s Elderly Homes? Posted on September 26, 2020September 26, 2020 by covexit In the beginning of this fall season, everything points at an increasing number of outbreaks, infections, sick residents and deaths from COVID-19 in CanadaÂ’s elderly homes. Yes, there are measures that have been taken at the level of institutions offering care to the elderly but, with the growing number of outbreaks, these are already proving to be insufficient. The missing aspects in all the policies and measures seen so far are prophylaxis and early treatment. Experiences in France, the US, Australia and elsewhere...

White is wrong at Baruch College, where minority faculty members in one department demanded Caucasian counterparts undergo “white fragility” training to be “better people,” according to a lawsuit filed against CUNY by an angry white professor. The demands were made by the Faculty of Color Caucus, a group of educators in the school’s Sociology and Anthropology Department, who accused white colleagues of racism “for no other reason than their skin color,” the professor claims in court papers.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Ahead of the first debate-stage matchup between President Donald Trump and his Democratic challenger Joe Biden, each campaign is promising a stark contrast in policy, personality and preparation. Trump has decided to skip any formal preparation. And while Biden’s team believes the significance of the debate may be exaggerated, the Democratic nominee has been aggressively preparing to take on the president. Biden’s campaign has been holding mock debate sessions featuring Bob Bauer, a senior Biden adviser and former White House general counsel, playing the role of Trump, according to a person with direct knowledge of the preparations...

There were plenty of red MAGA hats and T-shirts on Saturday at President Donald Trump’s campaign rally at Harrisburg International Airport. But the one thing conspicuously missing from the majority of people? Face masks. Thousands stood shoulder to shoulder, packed even beyond the immediate capacity of the private hangar, and most were without masks. Among those who had masks, many had them pulled down to their chins. “I’m over it,” Jackie Logsdon of Chambersburg said about the coronavirus and wearing masks, one of the major pieces of guidances from health officials. “Nope, I’m over it. I do believe in it,...

CHINA may have carried out a massive disinformation campaign to encourage the world to go into lockdown, an American lawyer has claimed. Covid-19 is believed to have originated in the Chinese city of Wuhan before spreading across the world - so far killing almost one million people. Senger however claims the Communist Party may have weaponised social media in an aggressive psy-op to spread hysteria to push for the lockdowns. The campaign may have pushed nations into committing economic suicide....

For decades, I have wondered whether the last minutes of life can be euphoric. Could dying perhaps trigger a flood of endorphins, in particular...
