SACRAMENTO, CA—California is currently on fire, having also been plagued by darkness, earthquakes, and hippies. State leaders are claiming they have "no idea" why God keeps lighting them on fire, though they just voted to reduce penalties for pedophiles in the name of equality for the LGBTQ+ community. "It's unclear here what exactly we're being punished for," said Governor Gavin Newsom at a press conference as the state burned down around him. "We are a progressive utopia. We're the other states in fast-forward. We pass amazing legislation that shows our love and inclusiveness of pedophiles of all sexual orientations. We...

The backup safety driver that was behind the wheel of a self-driving Uber vehicle that crashed in 2018, killing a pedestrian, has been charged. Officials said on Tuesday that driver Rafaela Vasquez was charged with negligent homicide on August 27 over the crash in Tempe that killed 49-year-old Elain Herzberg, the Associated Press reports. It was the first pedestrian fatality involving a self-driving vehicle. The charge comes in light of allegations that Vasquez was distracted moments before the self-driving Uber she was monitoring struck Herzberg who was crossing the road. Vasquez told investigators that she didn’t use her phone before...

The wild optimism that greeted the oh, so public handshake for peace on the White House lawn between the PLO's Yasser Arafat, no peace be upon him, and Israel's Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin, of blessed memory, with a beaming President Bill Clinton (D) in the middle, 27 years ago; the wild optimism that greeted the Camp David Accords, facilitated by President Jimmy Carter (D) between Egypt's President Anwar Sadat, now deceased, and Israel's Prime Minister Menachem Begin, of blessed memory, 41 years ago; the wild optimism that greeted the Israel-Jordan Peace Treaty signed by Jordan's late Prime Minister Abdul-Salam Majali...

Insurance companies could pay up to $2 billion in claims stemming from riots sparked by the police killing of George Floyd — making them the most expensive in US history, a new report says. The record-setting insured losses piled up as the demonstrations sometimes devolved into looting, arson and vandalism in 20 states across the country from May 26 to June 8, Axios reported Wednesday, citing figures from the Insurance Information Institute. “It’s not just happening in one city or state — it’s all over the country,” Loretta L. Worters, a spokeswoman for the industry group, told Axios. “And this...

In a new joint letter released Monday, 235 senior military leaders officially endorsed President Donald Trump’s reelection. “The 2020 election affords the American people an urgently needed opportunity to affirm their devotion to the Constitution of the United States and to the American way of life. As senior leaders of America’s military, we took an oath to defend the United States from all enemies, foreign and domestic. At present, our country is now confronted with enemies here and abroad, as well as a once in a century pandemic,” the letter says. “As retired military officers, we believe that Donald J....

Trump retweeted the GIF from a conservative Twitter user’s account on Tuesday morning that included the hashtag “#PedoBiden.” The clip shows former Defense Secretary Ash Carter speaking at a podium during his swearing-in ceremony at the White House in 2015 while his wife, Stephanie Carter, and Biden stand nearby. Biden is seen standing behind Carter with his hands on her shoulders – and briefly whispers in the woman’s ear before she smiles and nods reassuringly. While her age is unclear, it’s very clear that Carter is a woman and not a child or underage female. There’s no evidence to suggest...

After a history of so many failed efforts to reach peace in the Middle East it is welcoming and gratifying that history is being made with arrangements that may be laying the foundation for peace, security, and prosperity in the region. These arrangements do not constitute a comprehensive peace plan that includes settling the Palestinian question, and it remains to be seen if and are “game-changers.” But they register a crucial change in Arab policies. Hitherto, most Arab states, at least formally, have boycotted the State of Israel, saying they would only establish ties after the Palestinian dispute was settled....

Last year Joe Biden bragged about how he coerced Ukraine into firing its top prosecutor Victor Shokin by threatening that the Obama administration would pull $1 billion in U.S. loan guarantees from them. While this type of interference in a foreign government by the then-Vice President of the United States is highly inappropriate in itself, what makes it even worse is that the prosecutor he got fired was probing a firm for which his son Hunter Biden worked. A phone call between Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden and former Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko was leaked on Sept. 15 showing the...

Though I’m not a prophet, In my best-selling and timely book THE RABBIS, DONALD TRUMP, AND THE TOP-SECRET PLAN TO BUILD THE THIRD TEMPLE I made several compelling predictions that have progressively unfolded since, which soon could culminate (probably after the 2020 US presidential election) in an earth-shattering event that will accomplish nothing less than altering the course of history. What is about to unfold will set in motion arrival of Antichrist and Armageddon, followed by the Second Coming of Jesus Christ involving a global push to build the Third Temple in Jerusalem. It’s happening right now behind the scenes...

If there’s been a defining theme for this anguished Big Ten summer, it’s been waiting. Waiting for news on the fate of the season. Waiting for answers from a frozen conference office. And, finally, waiting for news on a reversal. On Wednesday morning, the waiting finally ended. After sources confirmed to Yahoo Sports that the Big Ten will return to play in the fall of 2020, the conference made it official. The league is expected to start the season on Oct. 24, which is scheduled to allow for both a conference title game and a potential spot in the College...

The right to vote is among the most sacred rights we have as Americans. It is fundamental to our democracy. I’m old enough to remember when the mantra about elections was "every vote counts and every vote must be counted." Now, we keep hearing that election fraud is nothing to worry about so long as it's not "widespread." In fact, I keep hearing anyone who questions the reliability of all-mail voting, or who advocates basic measures to minimize fraud and error, being accused of voter suppression, and election rigging. Protecting the integrity of our elections should matter toeveryone, because every...

A recent defense of student loans by Jason Delisle of the American Enterprise Institute is, uncharacteristically for him, off-base. He defends the federal student loan program, which he correctly notes is criticized by those on the left (“college should be free”) as well as on the right (“student loan programs have raised the price of education”). Delisle cites research showing that students borrowing aggressively tend to get better grades, graduate more successfully from college, and get better jobs, promoting not only their own well-being, but that of society. While in a longer essay I probably would disagree somewhat as to...

40 years it was GOP. Istook, Fallin, Langford, were amongst those who held the seat. Democrats did their part in 18'. Kendra Horn is pretty easy on the eyes. Once again those things count. Time to take it back.

Four years ago, Don Sabbe made what he calls a “devastating” mistake. Determined only to cast a vote for a candidate he believed in, he left the top of his ballot blank in the 2016 presidential election. This year, the 83-year old former Chrysler employee says he’ll definitely vote for Joe Biden, but he’s getting concerned about Biden’s campaign here in Michigan. “I can’t even find a sign,” Sabbe says outside a Kroger’s in Sterling Heights, where surrounding cars fly massive Donald Trump flags that say “No More Bullsh-t” and fellow shoppers wear Trump T-shirts for their weekend grocery runs....

A new audio was released on Wednesday by Ukrainian authorities between then Vice President Joe Biden and Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko on November 16, 2016. ** CD Media posted the three audio segments. In the first audio recording, which took place a week after the November 2016 election of Donald Trump, Biden is heard trashing the the incoming administration and promising to continue working with Ukrainian President Poroshenko.

If President Donald Trump wins Nevada, he should send a big thank you card to King Steve Sisolak. With two massive rallies over the weekend, the Trump campaign clearly believes that Nevada is in play. Instinctively, that doesn’t make sense. Nevada has been trending blue for more than a decade. All but one of Nevada’s statewide elected officials is a Democrat. A recent New York Times/Siena poll showed Biden ahead by 4 points, while Hillary Clinton won Nevada only by 2.5 points.

Just months after the Minneapolis City Council called for “dismantling” the police department in the wake of George Floyd’s death, they are now panicking that there’s not enough policing to deal with the spike in violent crime. During a recent meeting that was supposed to be a study session on police reform, Democratic council members instead relayed the frustrations they’re hearing from constituents.

Until recently the biggest source of global conflict had to do with energy, oil, and gas resources, but today data is more valuable, and much more disruptive. The bits and bytes of the information revolution are, it turns out, are disruptive economically and geopolitically. In The Economist’s words highlighting this tectonic shift: “Data are to this century what oil was to the last one: a driver of growth and change.” That change is coming swiftly, and -- in the coming years -- violently. Governments are slow to recognize this fact. It is nonetheless jumping out and slapping them in the...
