President Trump, don’t let Red China off the hook here. It is important to put an end to this pandemic. But it is just important to punish Red China for allowing this to happen in the first place. Let loose the lawyers! Rally the West. Every Coronavirus death - anywhere - is due to the Red Chinese. Seize their assets. Place tariffs on all Chinese goods. Make them pay.

I feel about this the way I feel about Sweden’s no-lockdowns experiment. Glad that someone’s doing it, so we can see how much better or worse it is than the standard model, annnnnnd glad that I’m not personally participating in it.Not sure I follow his logic on which businesses can open and which can’t, though. Restaurants are okay (if proper social distancing protocols are followed) but not bars? Some Georgia businesses including gyms, hair and nail salons and bowling alleys will be allowed to open Friday as the state moves toward reopening its economy. Gov. Brian Kemp (R) said...

Protesters took their cars around the streets of the Capital and the Governor’s Mansion. Those who attended the Connecticut Liberty Rally feel their rights are being infringed upon and call the pandemic shutdown unconstitutional. This rally, like others seen around the nation, called for Governor Ned Lamont to reopen the state immediately. "They totally shut down the country," said Rich Mills. "They destroyed the economy. It’s just ridiculous." The shouts and honks from passing protesters were clear, "open the state". ... The Libertarian Party of Connecticut says the Governor’s actions are an overreach of authority and hurting small businesses. They...

The politics of this question, “How many asymptomatic carriers are out there?”, are tricky. On the one hand, evidence that there’s a large number of infected people walking around bolsters the argument that maaaaaybe the epidemic won’t be as bad as we think. Maybe the Oxford model is right and there are actually a gigantic number of people in the population who’ve had the virus but didn’t know it. We’re closer to herd immunity than we think! On the other hand, having a huge asymptomatic population would undercut the argument that we should reopen for business soon because official case...

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is fully exposed in a really bad optics nightmare as her ice cream and expensive refrigerator videos are blended in with footage from around the country that show people suffering. This is probably the most brutal takedown of the Democratic House Speaker, but she did this to herself by holding up relief for small businesses and taking home videos in front of refrigerators that normal people don't even get to look at in person.

“Rules for thee, but not for me” may as well be the Cuomo family motto.CNN’s Chris Cuomo, who announced on March 31 that he has the coronavirus, broke quarantine on Easter Sunday to visit an undeveloped property in East Hampton, New York, a full 30-minute drive from his home in Southampton, New York. Note that his case of the disease was fully confirmed at that point. He was not just taking a risk in the event that he might catch or spread the coronavirus. He knowingly carried the virus to another town — an act that is not just selfish...

George Stephanopoulos had already irked Hamptons residents by going out in public after his wife contracted Covid-19 – but now the “GMA” anchor is battling the virus himself and is ignoring mandates to wear a mask in public. The pale-looking ABC Newsman was spotted by The Post on Monday afternoon taking a stroll in East Hampton, engrossed in a long conversation on his mobile phone with his mask hanging around his neck. Although there is a decrease in the number of deaths, the study indicates that there could be hundreds of thousands of people who could be infected without knowing it. Preliminary results from an antibody testing program indicates the number of COVID-19 infections in Los Angeles County far exceeds the number of confirmed cases, with potentially more than 400,000 residents having been infected at some point, USC researchers and county health officials announced Monday. The good news from the antibody study, researchers said, is that the mortality rate from the illness is much lower than currently estimated. The bad news is...

Acknowledging that approximately only 20 percent of people who go on ventilators, as he did, survive, he believes his life was saved after giving a doctor the thumbs up to use the experimental drug hydroxychoroquine after it...

Health officials in Sweden say the country's relatively relaxed COVID-19 prevention and mitigation strategies may be working to flatten the cure of new COVID-19 infections. "We're on a sort of plateau," Anders Tegnell, Sweden's top state epidemiologist who designed the nation's COVID-19 strategy, told Swedish news outlet TT, Bloomberg News reported Sunday. Karin Tegmark Wisell, head of the microbiology department at Sweden's Public Health Authority, on Friday also said the number of COVID-19 cases in the country appears to be "stabilizing," according to the report. "The trend we have seen in recent days, with a more flat curve — where...
