NATIONAL HARBOR, MD — Congressman Steve Scalise introduced a panel discussion called “Prescription for Failure: The Ills of Socialized Medicine" at CPAC on Thursday. He established what was at stake in 2020: “2020 will be a contrast election,” he said, between Trump’s freedom agenda or socialism. “You don’t want socialism, you surely don’t want socialized medicine,” he said. “Tens of thousands of Canadians come to America for life-saving treatment. Do you see Americans going to Canada for life-saving treatment?” he asked rhetorically. “Healthcare is only one example of what’s at stake in this election,” he said, before concluding that individual...

CHARLESTON, SC—Joe Biden made the incredible claim at last night's debate that he is the last remaining survivor of gun violence on the earth. "Tragically, 7,767,050,847 have been killed by gun violence in the last week alone, and I am the only one left," he said somberly, apparently oblivious to the living people all around him. "If anyone were left to hear me today, my message would be, 'Please, never again should we let billions be killed by guns.'" "We must pass legislation to ensure that deadly, fully automatic blunderbusses and cannons be banned from our great land. Thank you,...

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - A Bernie Sanders presidency could begin modestly with a roughly $300 billion federal jobs guarantee before pushing for trillions of dollars in new spending on health care, the environment and infrastructure, says a key adviser to the U.S. Democratic front-runner. Sanders, a U.S. senator from Vermont and self-described democratic socialist, has promised a sweeping transformation of the U.S. economy if he wrests the keys to the White House from President Donald Trump in the November 2020 election. A jobs guarantee, which would see the federal government ensure employment for anyone who wanted to work, would be a...

It is utterly irresponsible to put him in charge of US coronavirus response as the world sits on the cusp of a pandemic,” the New York Democrat wrote on social media. “This decision could cost people their lives. Pence’s past decisions already have.

This is part of a pattern of CAIR overreacting to things, and demonstrating that they don’t like people. Recently, there was an incident in South Carolina where a mosque was tagged with graffiti which said “utterly blessed”. While certainly annoying, Ibrahim Hooper’s insistence that it might be a bias incident is simply not believable. He wanted the police to catch the kids who did this and punish them. Just last year, police finally caught up with and charged the men who gave the finger to Muslim family on the freeway in Georgia. CAIR would charge them with a hate crime if only Georgia...

CORONAVIRUS patients in Britain could be turned away from hospitals if medics cannot cope with the amount of cases they have on their hands, a doctor has warned The NHS woud adopt a so-called “three wise men” system if the number of infected Britons reached catastrophic levels. Three senior consultants in each hospital would be forced to ration care such as beds and ventilators if hospitals were unable to cope with the sheer scale of the crisis. The protocol would mean weaker patients who stand less of a chance of fighting off the sickness would be pushed down the pecking...

Morning "Thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation." Psalm 91:9 The Israelites in the wilderness were continually exposed to change. Whenever the pillar stayed its motion, the tents were pitched; but tomorrow, ere the morning sun had risen, the trumpet sounded, the ark was in motion, and the fiery, cloudy pillar was leading the way through the narrow defiles of the mountain, up the hill side, or along the arid waste of the wilderness. They had scarcely time to rest a little before they heard the sound of "Away! this is not...
