Guest host Chris Jansing began by lamenting the tone of the event, recalling to Washington Post White House correspondent Anne Gearan, "I took note of some things the president said about opponents, Anne. Sleazebags, leakers, liars, stone cold crazy, loathsome, dirty cops compared to his supporters who he called warriors." She contrasted this with Clinton, "If we thought somehow that the 90 seconds where Bill Clinton came out and apologized after he was acquitted on articles of impeachment might in any way be reflected today, well we were sorely mistaken

A Rasmussen poll released Thursday finds American voters tend to say President Donald Trump has made America “stronger” and that they are more “optimistic about the nation’s future than they have been in years.” According to the survey results, 46 percent of likely U.S. voters think the nation has grown stronger since the president’s election in 2016, while 41 percent say Trump has made the country weaker. Trump, the United States conducted a counterterrorism operation in Yemen that successfully eliminated Qasim al-Rimi, a founder and the leader of al-Qa’ida in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) and a deputy to al-Qa’ida leader Ayman al-Zawahiri. Rimi joined al-Qa’ida in the 1990s, working in Afghanistan for Osama bin Laden. Under Rimi, AQAP committed unconscionable violence against civilians in Yemen and sought to conduct and inspire numerous attacks against the United States and our forces. His death further degrades AQAP and the global al-Qa’ida...

Ukraine's parliament is debating a proposed law to allow sales of the country's rich farmland, a high-tension issue that sparked a brawl among lawmakers Thursday. Proponents say that allowing sales of farmland that are currently outlawed would significantly boost Ukraine's struggling economy. Opponents argue the land could end up in the hands of businesses that would crush small farmers or of foreigners, including Russians. President Volodymyr Zelenskiy, who supports land sales, says the question of allowing foreign ownership should be put to a referendum. Hundreds of protesters gathered outside the parliament building during the debate. Inside the chamber, supporters of...

We’ve all been through a lot together, and we probably deserve that hand for all of us, because it’s been a very unfair situation. I invited some of our very good friends. And we have limited room, but everybody wanted to come. We kept it down to a minimum. And believe it or not, this is a minimum. But a tremendous thing was done over the last number of months, but really, if you...

Editors Note: Just The News officially launches later this month but we are offering you a sneak peek with this story of the sort of reporting we will be doing. One of Robert Mueller’s pivotal trial witnesses told the special prosecutor’s team in spring 2018 that a key piece of Russia collusion evidence found in Ukraine known as the “black ledger” was fabricated, according to interviews and testimony. The ledger document, which suddenly appeared in Kiev during the 2016 U.S. election, showed alleged cash payments from Russian-backed politicians in Ukraine to ex-Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort. “The ledger was completely...

House Democrats voted Thursday to kill a Republican resolution that would have formally chastised House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) for tearing up a copy of President Donald Trump's State of the Union speech Tuesday night. The measure was introduced by Rep. Kay Granger (R-Texas) Wednesday and formally disapproves of Pelosi's move to rip up the speech, saying that the speaker's actions were "a breach of decorum and degraded the proceedings of the joint session, to the discredit of the House." Since the resolution was introduced as privileged under House rules, Granger was able to force the chamber to consider it...

At first glance, Corey Feldman’s house looks ridiculous. A crooked Christmas wreath hangs on the front door, even though it is late January. Feldman’s assistant lets me into the two-storey home in the hills of Los Angeles, and when I walk into the living room I have to bite the insides of my cheeks to stop myself from gasping: hanging above the fireplace is a drawing of Feldman from his 80s teen glory years. The bookcases are packed with vintage toys, most still in their boxes, most from Feldman’s own movies: there’s Goonies merch, Gremlins memorabilia, The Lost Boys souvenirs....
