Ajit Pai, chairman of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), has been a one-man wrecking machine to China’s plans to leapfrog U.S. military and technological superiority by becoming the first to operationalize 5G. Now, however, Beijing is fighting back with delay tactics which, if not handled properly, can lead to China pulling a fast one on the FCC and, by default, America’s national security. For those who aren’t familiar, 5G is the next-generation wireless network that will bring download and processing speeds to just a fraction of what they are currently. China has seen the new technology as a way to...

Exulting in his impeachment acquittal, President Donald Trump took a scorched-earth victory lap Thursday, unleashing his fury against those who tried to remove him from office while looking ahead to his reelection campaign. Trump, triumphantly waving a newspaper front page - “ACQUITTED” - denounced his political foes, declared the impeachment proceedings a “disgrace” and portrayed himself as a victim rather than a president accused of serious corruption. That echoed broadsides hours earlier that stunned the crowd at an annual prayer breakfast. “It was evil, it was corrupt,” Trump declared at the White House. “This should never ever happen to another...

The Presidential Medal of Freedom, the highest honor a president can bestow on a civilian. Obama awarded the most such medals of any president, giving out 123. Many of Obama's recipients arguably deserved the award, including Bill and Melinda Gates, John Glenn, Stephen Hawking, Sandra Day O'Connor, and Sidney Poitier. Obama also gave the award to Republicans like former President George H.W. Bush. Yet a surprisingly large number of Obama's Presidential Medal of Freedom recipients turned out to be campaign donors for both Obama and his hand-picked successor, Hillary Clinton. At least 17 of his donors received the honor, including...

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security says it will no longer allow New York state residents to enroll in programs intended to expedite international travel because of a state law that blocks immigration authorities from accessing motor vehicle records. New York's "Green Light" law, which took effect in December, allows immigrants without legal status to apply for driver's licenses. It also includes a provision barring state officials at the Department of Motor Vehicles from sharing data with immigration authorities unless a judge orders them to do so. Ken Cuccinelli, acting deputy secretary at DHS, told reporters on a conference call...

To the extent that Mitt Romney, handsome rich guy, is a sympathetic figure, it is because his attempts to prostrate himself before the left fail so consistently. The “binders full of women” comment, perverted as it was by the media, was also a total capitulation to the idea that there ought to be more quotas and affirmative action in hiring. But even then – even then! – they still painted him and Paul Ryan as racists who wanted to kill grandma and crawl through your window at night to steal your birth control. The lesson Republican voters took away was:...

Pelosi slammed her hand on the lectern several times as she yelled, “I don’t need a lesson from anybody!” “Did you step on that message [taking the high ground] by tearing up the State of the Union?” Manu Raju asked. “No I did not! No I did not!” Pelosi responded. “I tore up a manifesto of mistruths. It’s very hard for us to get you to talk about the issues that we are working on,” Pelosi said slamming her hand on the lectern. “It was necessary to get the attention of the American people, to say this is not true…And...

Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) and Andy Levin (D-Mich.) on Thursday outlined a bill that seeks to establish a nationwide electric vehicle charging network within five years. Their Electric Vehicle Freedom Act, which was slated to be introduced Thursday, would establish the network along the nation's highway systems and also promote compatibility between chargers and cars, affordability and the creation of automotive and infrastructure jobs, Levin said at a press conference. "We're trying to actually advance and improve our fleets and our vehicles, which means that we have to go electric and the way that we do that is with a...

In the annals of piggishness, not much beats what's coming out of Joe Biden's mouth about Rush Limbaugh and "decency." According to Fox News: Democratic hopeful Joe Biden slammed conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh as undeserving of the Presidential Medal of Freedom and criticized President Trump's motives for awarding it at the State of the Union on Tuesday night. Biden, speaking to CNN's Anderson Cooper at a town hall event in New Hampshire on Wednesday, said Trump's decision to award the highest civilian honor in the nation to Limbaugh was "driven more by trying to maintain [his] right-wing political...

Wuhan Central Hospital has denied that Li Wenliang — one of the eight doctors who tried to alert the public about the coronavirus when it was first emerging in Wuhan only to be reprimanded by local police — has died. “In the fight against the pneumonia epidemic of the new coronavirus infection, our hospital's ophthalmologist Li Wenliang was unfortunately infected. He is currently in critical condition and we are trying our best to resuscitate him," it said in its official Weibo account. The hospital’s statement came amid conflicting reports about whether Li had died, with some reports saying that the...

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) thanked his supporters for giving his campaign a "strong victory" in the Iowa caucuses on Thursday, days after the state's chaotic contest and as the Democratic National Committee's (DNC) chairman has called for a recanvass. The Iowa Democratic Party on Thursday released its latest batch of results, after technical mishaps delayed the results following the caucuses on Monday. With 97 percent of precincts now reporting, the results showed South Bend, Ind., Mayor Pete Buttigieg with 26.2 percent of state delegate equivalents and Sanders with 26.1 percent. Sanders, however, is leading in the final votes tally, though...

Suppose you want to help a DISABLED VETERAN or an elderly person who needs something to do. The answer could be: "Trump's Troops" for the 2020 election. This week the 'enemy' is in disarray. Time to strike them even harder. How? Mobilize anyone who wants to to become part of Trump's Troops. "Big Bad" Don would to have approve. His son "Don" would be a good choice in help forming this. I am willing to step forward and volunteer. I am certain there are many Veterans who would be willing to help. I am certain that there are many elderly...

Georgetown University is one of the country’s top-ranked schools and has a roughly $1.6 billion endowment. But in 1838, the university was facing financial ruin. So the Jesuit priests, who ran Georgetown, sold 272 enslaved people to three plantations in Louisiana for $115,000 — or the equivalent of about $3.3 million in today’s dollars to keep their doors open. That’s how the ancestors of DaVita Robinson, Valerie White, Maxine Crump — all descendants of the 272 and featured in the Video Op-Ed above — ended up in Louisiana. And now, they may become the first people in the history of...

Vice President Mike Pence accused House Speaker Nancy Pelosi of planning to rip up the President Trump’s State of the Union speech. During an appearance on ‘Fox & Friends’ this morning, Vice President Pence said, “It felt like it” when he was asked if he felt Pelosi had pre-planned the moment: Pence said Pelosi “dishonored the moment”… Pence was sitting about a foot away from Pelosi and could see what she was doing. Speaker Pelosi was on camera practicing ripping paper under the desk (above) and she pre-ripped the paper as seen in photos below: Pelosi is a hero to...

Now that his son Hunter is no longer being paid all that money by Burisma Holdings, a Ukrainian gas company, former Vice President Joe Biden wants to ban fossil fuels. At a campaign event in New Hampshire, the Democratic candidate responded to a group of climate protesters by assuring them that he too would phase out fossil fuels if elected president. "These guys are okay," Biden addressed a group of protesters that interrupted his speech. "They want to do the same thing I want to do. They want to phase out fossil fuels and we're going to phase out fossil...

Following a series of sweeping actions to expand access to voting in recent years, a California lawmaker is pushing to require voters to cast a ballot in future elections. The proposal, introduced in the state Assembly on Tuesday, would be unprecedented and probably challenged in court should it ultimately become law. It would place the burden for determining the civil penalty and the ultimate punishment on the secretary of state, California’s chief elections officer.

President Donald Trump gave his speech during this year’s prayer breakfast. He held up a newspaper this morning with the headline “Acquitted!” in Nancy Pelosi’s presence at the National Prayer Breakfast! President Trump then proceeded to rip and shred Pelosi during his talk at the National Prayer Breakfast. https://twitter.com/Lrihendry?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1225417937009496064&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fconservativeus.com%2Fvideo-people-suggests-that-nancy-pelosi-is-drunk-during-the-national-prayer-breakfast%2F https://twitter.com/LVNancy/status/1225427794659696641?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1225427794659696641&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fconservativeus.com%2Fvideo-people-suggests-that-nancy-pelosi-is-drunk-during-the-national-prayer-breakfast%2F President Trump also said: We’re grateful to the people in this room for the love they show. Not just one religion but many religions. They’re brave, they’re brilliant, they’re fighters, they like people. And some times they hate people, I’m sorry. I apologize. I’m trying to learn. (laughter) It’s not...

In her petty and petulant act of tearing up Donald Trump's SOTU speech Nancy Pelosi did more than render paper. She tore the hearts out of real people. Disrespect for Trump at the SOTU is nothing new. Last year she clapped at Trump but this year was over the top. Let no one think that it wasn't planned. Pelosi tore up the family of Kayla Mueller. Mueller was kidnapped and murdered by bu Bakr al-Baghdadi who in turn was eliminated in a raid ordered by Trump. Trump recognized her parents, who gave him a standing ovation. Pelosi tore up Rocky...
